  • The influence of anisotropic interactions on velocity of sound

    The paper features the mathematical model of computing the velocity of sound for refrigerant mixtures on the base of non-isotropic intermolecular potential. For the calculation of the thermodynamical ... functions of state we used the Lennard-Jones potential as the reference. For the calculation of non-isotropic part we used Müller-Winkellman-Fischer model and Lucas-Gubbins perturbation model. We carried out all expressions for calculation of speed of sound. The analytical results are compared with the experimental data and models obtained by classical thermodynamics.
