  • TEMPUS DETECH Project - Building e-learning services for University of Maribor

    European Commission has supported the establishment of the Department for Technology Supported Distance Education by approving the proposal for a Joint European Project in the scope of Tempus Phare ... program. A firm foundation for e-learning services at the University of Maribor will be set up within this two-year effort. In this paper we describe the background of this project and its achievements. We are also trying to put it into a wider perspective of the activities of the Centre for Distance Education Development, which serves as a central point for the promotion and co-ordination of open and distance learning methods and technologies at the University of Maribor.
