    While making projects and at roadway drivage, Velenj coal mine considers that main principle is that tracks have to function without being additionally maintained and improved during their ... exploitation period. This demand can be satisfied only by systematic evaluating of the rock masses, by other factors having an influence on designing and track drivage, and by the verification and improving the existing methods of roadway drivage, and also by the development of its new methods. Thus collected, qualitative and quantitative parameters, represent a good basis for choosing the best solutions, both technological and economic ones, at designing the method and technology of roadway drivage.
