  • Vizualni vokabular u govoru djece oštećena vida
    Vuletić, Dušanka
The paper presents an investigation of the vocabulary of 13 visually impaired children. They were asked 12 questions by which their use of visual vocabulary was determined. Statistically significant ... difference was found between the group of visually impaired children (blind and low vision) and the group of children with normal vision. However, blind and low vision children tend to use the same markers of visual contents. In the educational process words coming from other sensory experiences should be given equal importance as those having visual content. Such words should also become more accessible to visually impaired children through abstract contents and explanations.
