  • Geni in rak : geni, ki sprožajo in geni, ki zavirajo nastanek raka
    Škrk, Janez
Carcinogenesis is the process wherebly cancers arise. Most malignant tumors are thought to form from a single abnormal, or transformed, cell. The development of molecular biotechnology has enabled a ... clearer understanding of the beginnins of the disease at molecular and biochemical levels. The discovery of mutated protooncogenes in the human genome have confirmed that cancer is a multilayered disease involving several genes. Studying these molecular changes is of practical importance in diagnostics and also future molecular-genetic means of treatment.
