    The following article presents a mobile application for cash register. Slovenian government has accepted an act specifying that these cash registers should replace all paragon receipts previously ... used for money transactions. This way the government intends to collect more money from taxes. Thus, cash registers will be used for money transactions and will perform real time receipt validation on the financial ministry%s online information system. With the online verification system an open system platform is enough for issuing receipts as the only crucial segment presents the active internet link to the FURS% information system, thus removing all software and hardware certification. In order to cover as many as possible operating systems the Qt framework was used that supports a majority of commonly used PC and mobile platforms. Margento Register uses various protocols that connect to a POS printer, but as this application is mainly intended for mobile devices a Bluetooth portable printer was used. In the future Margento Register will be upgraded with external hardware, which will provide the ability to handle MiFire smart cards, thus completing the Margento mobile terminal set.
