  • Web applications development
    Polančič, Gregor ...
Web pages are basically divided into two groups: static and dynamic. Static web pages represent content stored in files on web server. Dynamic web pages are more complex and allow generation of ... content based on some kind of server program, user requirements and/or data stored in some type of source (different types of databases, XML documents or remote systems) accessed by server. Static web pages are relatively easy to develop and maintain, however dynamic web pages are far more complex and require engineering approach in all phases of software development. This article is based on theoretical knowledge and practical experiences. It describes approaches, technologies and tools that are effective at specific phases of web application development.
