  • Introduction to the genetic algorithm on backward can extrusion problem instead of the experimental statistic method

    The genetic algorithms for parameter adjusting instead of the experimental statistic method of full factor experiment are presented. First the backward can extrusion problem is introduced. The most ... important parameters are discussed and the mathematical model is suggested. In the second part the experimental work as well as the computations of experimental statistic method of full factor experiment is presented. The final response function is created for calculation of the force after the statistic tests are suficiently fulfilled. The basic theory of the genetic algorithms is shortly presented. We use genetic algorithm to ascertain parameters of the presupposed response function. The results are compared with experimental values and it can be stated that they can be equivalently used for determination of response function. Both methods give comparable small differences between calculated and expeimental values of force.
