  • Possibilities of practical usage of colorimetry at fabrics patterning

    Usage of colorimetry in modern textile science has allows improved quality of work and better control over individual phases of a manufacturing process and have minimised the chances for ... misunderstanding between textile producers and their clients. So far there has not appeared any practical need of measuring uniform colour values of fabrics being produced by mixing differently dyed warp and weft threads. Computer simulations of fabrics, by using colour measurements, indicate new possibilities of practical usage of colorimetry. The paper investigates the possibility of correcting dyeing mistakes of one colour component with a corrected colour of another component so that the obtained uniform colour values of fabrics are acceptable and has similar as possible to the originally designed ones.
