    Seasonal biorhythmic of serum T3 and T4 was determined by RIA in seven Jezersko-Solchava ewes during pregnancy and postpartum period from December toMay. Mean whole day T3 concentration remained ... unchanged from December to April (1st to 3rd pregnancy month) and decreased in March (4th pregnancy month). Mean whole day T4 concentration decreased from December to March (1st to 4th pregnancy month). The concentration of both hormones increased in Apriland May. In the investigated ewes the influence of pregnancy can not be distinguished from the influences of environment. The increase of both hormones in April and May is presumably the result of greater heat loss after shearing.
