    Student's participation within the public system of education and the school community they atend is the subject of numerous debates on human rights and the organisation and role of public schooling ... in a modern democratic society. The article discusses children's participation from the perspective of children's rights. In the first part the authors contrast participation (inclusion) of children with their original exclusion from adult society, while in the second part they present in detail the legal frame which determines the systemic and the normative frame of primary education and regulates the forms of students' participation in school environment.
