    Selected tibial plateu fractures are amenable to treatment by arthroscopic reduction and limited percutaneous fixation. Conventional arthrotomy can thus be avoided. Surgical trauma involves minimal ... soft tissue dissection. Adequate visualisation of the entire joint allows for treatment of coexisting intraarticular lesions and thorough irrigation of the joint. Complications areless frequent and less severe than in arthrotomy. Postoperative morbidity is reduced and so is the lenght of hospital stay and total rehabilitation. Thepaper presents the operative technique for treating selected tibial pleteaufractures amenable to arthroscopic reduction and percutaneous management.
