    The author discusses in relation to the uses of archival materials the technical problems of lending of such material for the purposes of exhibition. The Hungarian rules concerning lending for the ... purposes of exhibitions within the framework of the educational activity of archives are set forth in detail on the basis of the 1971 Regulations of Archives. The conditions of safety and technical protection of the materials to be exhibited are discussed thoroughly, mentioning the difficulties, first of all the financial problems, which prevent the necessary technical conditions from being developed and widely used.
