    Background. Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast is a rare form of breast cancer which has well characterized morphological features and exceis in comparison with other forms of breast cancer. ... Methods. Two cases of adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast with its cytologic, hystologic and mammographicfeatures are presented, where the diagnosis was first established on fine needle aspiration biopsy. Conclusions. With regard to benign ultrasound and mammographic appearance of adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast, aspiration cytology should be performed in each patients with breast lump.
