過去有關再保險的文獻,並沒有探討監理制度對再保險使用的影響。在本文中今我們分析了1994年至2010年的資料噴發現產險業於風險基礎資本額(risk based capital, ...RBC)制度實施以後,再保險的使用顯著減少。我們也發現:RBC制度的實施使得公司規模比較大的公司今更加減少再保險的使用;財務槓桿高與火險業務多的公司今不再使用這麼多的再保險。然而今RBC制度的實施使得獲利能力好的公司今使用較多再保險。
Using an event study and data of publicly traded firms in Taiwan from 2005 through 2010, we examine the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on mitigating the declines in shareholder value ...when firms are disclosed of negative events, i.e., the risk management effect. Our results show that firms engaging in CSR activity have less stock price declines when negative news are disclosed. We also find that this effect is significant for safetyrelated negative events, but not for market-competition and integrity-related events. Furthermore, the empirical results show that CSR has a long-term effect on reducing stock volatility., 本文探討企業善盡社會責任,對於股東價值是否具有風險管理的效果。即當企業被披露負面事件消息時,其平日所盡之社會責任,是否有助於減緩股價之下跌?本文採用台灣上市櫃公司資料,利用事件研究法進行實證分析。結果顯示:企業平日善盡社會責任所建立之形象,的確有助於企業在面臨不利報導時之股價的維持,意即「善有善報」。就負面消息類型而言,企業社會責任形象,對於與安全相關的負面消息,有較顯著的保護效果;對於與倫理道德相關的負面事件則不明顯;而對於與市場競爭有關的負面消息,企業之善盡社會責任形象,並無助於降低股價下跌的風險。此外,研究結果亦顯示企業之社會責任形象具有長期效應,有助於降低股價之波動性

The current trend of the market and the technology development is the multi-core processor, but most software does not support the real multi-core processor. Therefore, only one ...core can be used in this situation, but not all of them. To let all cores work at the same time, the programming and data distribution method is proposed in this thesis. The computation efficiency also can be improved.
The experimental environment in this thesis is Windows XP operating system. Using Visual Studio C++ with an OpenMP to open the function of parallel-oriented computing, and the data will be divided into two parts. The computation efficiency with/without OpenMP and the data distribution method are observed in the chapter four. The test results show that the computation efficacy can be enhanced by using OpenMP and the data distribution method, and the feasibility of the proposed method can be verified.

Developing and utilizing the steady-state solver with the implicit time integration is the main purpose of this paper. The characteristics of implicit scheme and the spectral ...element method are both introduced into solving the incompressible Navier-Stokes equation and applied on the flow field with complicated geometry. In this research, we use the iterative solver, GMRES, for the asymmetric system matrices of the implicit schemes, i.e., fully-implicit, SIMPLE, and PISO methods. Preconditioners on the iterative solver are also explored the capabilities and the efficiencies of the programs. Firstly, the example with exact solution verifies the spectral accuracy of the programs. The following three examples, the cavity flow, the sudden expansion flow, and the flow past a circular cylinder, are simulated to test the computational efforts and efficiencies of each methods. PISO method is the best as result shown.

In recent years, many scholars have proposes reversible information hiding methods to protect confidential data. For example, Lee and Huang propose a dual-image reversible ...information hiding method in 2011. They modified the pixels by adding or subtracting one to embed secret data. Consequently, the quality of stego images obtained by the above modification method is excellent. However, in their method, each set of four pixels can be used to embed five secret bits, therefore restricting the hiding capacity. In this thesis, we propose a reversible information hiding method with high embedding rate to improve the drawback of Lee and Huang’s method. In the propose method, each pixel can be used to embed T secret bits, where T is an adaptive threshold that can control the image quality and hiding capacity. Experimental results show that the embedding rate of the propose method achieves T bpp, which is higher than that of the recently propose methods. Our method can embed secret data and remain
