To identify the risk factors associated with non-closure of defunctioning stoma in patients with rectal cancer.
A retrospective analysis included patients who underwent surgical treatment at the ...Ryzhikh National Medical Research Centre of Coloproctology for the period from March 2017 to August 2019. Inclusion criterion was anterior or low anterior resection followed by anastomosis and preventive stoma. Univariate and multivariate analysis enrolled 28 factors for identifying the risk factors of non-closure of defunctioning stoma.
There were 246 patients with rectal cancer. Intraoperative fluorescence angiography was applied in 145 cases to assess blood supply within the anastomosis and reduce the risk of anastomotic leakage. According to multivariate analysis, only two factors had significant influence on non-closure of preventive stoma - any grade of anastomotic leakage (OR 6.5; 95% CI 2.2-18.8,
=0.001) and rectal cancer stage IV (OR 7.2; 95% CI 1.9-27.6,
=0.004).
According to our data, permanent stoma is observed in 15% of patients.
Results of simulations of air injection into a liquid-filled (water or liquid lead) closed vessel with a high pressure difference are presented. The simulations reveal a big difference in processes ...of air volume formation and evolution of its boundaries during air injection into air or liquid lead. A comparison of periodic pressure pulsations in the gas volume (simulation results) with pressure pulsations described by a quasi-stationary 1D model demonstrates conservatism of the simplified model. The results of destruction of gas cavities with pressure pulsations for water and liquid lead are compared. Other conditions being identical, the gas volume in water decays faster than that in lead.

In mammalian spermatocytes, cell division cycle protein 2 (CDC2)/cyclin B1 and the chaperone heat shock protein A2 (HSPA2) are required for the G2rightward arrowM transition in prophase I. Here, we ...demonstrate that in primary spermatocytes, linker histone chaperone testis/embryo form of nuclear autoantigenic sperm protein (tNASP) binds the heat shock protein HSPA2, which localizes on the synaptonemal complex of spermatocytes. Significantly, the tNASP-HSPA2 complex binds linker histones and CDC2, forming a larger complex. We demonstrate that increasing amounts of tNASP favor tNASP-HSPA2-CDC2 complex formation. Binding of linker histones to tNASP significantly increases HSPA2 ATPase activity and the capacity of tNASP to bind HSPA2 and CDC2, precluding CDC2/cyclin B1 complex formation and, consequently, decreasing CDC2/cyclin B1 kinase activity. Linker histone binding to NASP controls the ability of HSPA2 to activate CDC2 for CDC2/cyclin B1 complex formation; therefore, tNASP's role is to provide the functional link between linker histones and cell cycle progression during meiosis.
Abstract
The article considers the current state of small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas of the Trans-Baikal Territory. In the region, the largest share of agricultural products produced ...falls on the personal subsidiary farms, while there is a destruction of large-scale commodity production, evidenced by a decrease in the number of agricultural enterprises and organizations. Presently, the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory is interested in transforming personal subsidiary farms into the status of peasant farms, since they are able to ensure more efficient functioning of small forms of farms. Special attention is paid to the state support of small farms in the region. In the course of the study, the problems of the effectiveness of the use of state support for small forms of management were identified. The priority direction of state support is grant subsidization of peasant farms, while the distribution of grants in the context of municipal districts of the region is uneven. In general, the mechanism of grant support for peasant farms is effective only for areas of the region where animal husbandry traditionally constitutes the basis of agriculture. There are also problems associated with excessive requirements for obtaining grants and insufficient consulting assistance from potential grantees.
Abstract
The article is devoted to solving the problem of stabilizing the flow rate of diffusion juice at the outlet from the buffer tank under conditions of an unstable hydrodynamic mode of ...operation of the diffusion apparatus in sugar production. The existing system does not provide effective stabilization of the juice consumption in case of significant fluctuations in the level and situations arise when the buffer tank is empty or overflowed. A digital control system is proposed that improves the dynamic accuracy of juice flow stabilization due to digital correction according to the integral law of setting the flow regulator according to filtered (smoothed) level values and including proportional, differential components in the correction algorithm when the level leaves the “smooth” control area. The effectiveness of the digital control system is confirmed by mathematical modeling in various modes.
To create the windings of the magnetic system of the Future Circular Collider, it is necessary to modernize the Nb

Sn-based composite superconductors obtained by the method of internal tin sources, ...which also involves an increase in the thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity of the matrix copper as determined using the residual resistance ratio (RRR) parameter (the ratio of the values of the electrical resistivity of copper at 273 and 20 K). The achievement of high RRR values is controlled by the balance between the geometric dimensions, the volume fractions of the superconductor components, and the mode of reaction heat treatment (RHT) used for the formation of the Nb

Sn phase. The results of an experimental and theoretical study of the effect of the strand diameter and the RHT mode on the RRR parameter are given. The diffusion of tin from the zone of subelements into the stabilizing copper in the course of RHT in strands of various diameters has been investigated by scanning electron microscopy and electron probe microanalysis. The study was carried out on experimental samples of multifilamentary superconductors based on Nb

A multichaperone nucleosome-remodeling complex that contains the H1 linker histone chaperone nuclear autoantigenic sperm protein (NASP) has recently been described. Linker histones (H1) are required ...for the proper completion of normal development, and NASP transports H1 histones into nuclei and exchanges H1 histones with DNA. Consequently, we investigated whether NASP is required for normal cell cycle progression and development. We now report that without sufficient NASP, HeLa cells and U2OS cells are unable to replicate their DNA and progress through the cell cycle and that the NASP-/- null mutation causes embryonic lethality. Although the null mutation NASP-/- caused embryonic lethality, null embryos survive until the blastocyst stage, which may be explained by the presence of stored NASP protein in the cytoplasm of oocytes. We conclude from this study that NASP and therefore the linker histones are key players in the assembly of chromatin after DNA replication.
In this work, we focus on “sentence-level unlemmatization,” the task of generating a grammatical sentence given a lemmatized one; this task is usually easy to do for humans but may present problems ...for machine learning models. We treat this setting as a machine translation problem and, as a first try, apply a sequence-to-sequence model to the texts of Russian Wikipedia articles, evaluate the effect of the different training sets sizes quantitatively and achieve the BLUE score of 67, 3 using the largest training set available. We discuss preliminary results and flaws of traditional machine translation evaluation methods for this task and suggest directions for future research.
