Since the emergence of the Coronavirus and its declaration as a global pandemic, the world has changed all sectors radically. Covid-19 has caused a very strong effect on daily life and adaptation to ...new ways of learning, working, and communicating. The smart city is one of the most important solutions that enable us to go on with daily life during the pandemic and beyond. The smart city employs the current technology and smart solutions to serve the community, and improve the services provided to the people, particularly in vital sectors such as health, education, electricity, transportation, communications, and others. This article deals with two innovative applications for the Internet of things in smart cities: The first refers to designing an intelligent health monitoring system, which aims to reduce the spread of Coronavirus infection from people to the medical staff, as well as reduce work pressure on the medical staff. The second application refers to monitoring electrical energy consumed by measuring and monitoring electrical parameters and energy consumption. In addition, it helps us to know the power line trespasser. Both systems are implemented by using sensors to gather data in real-time and then transmit it to the server.

To avoid face-to-face interaction, physical contact, and maintain social distancing, the smart monitor is designed in this paper. It is used to monitor the health parameters that are affected when infected with covid-19, such as heart rate, oxygen level, blood pressure, and body temperature in real-time and remotely. This will reduce the workload, workload on the medical staff, and reduce the infection with the covid-19.

In addition, to know how it affects digital skills which considered one of the most important things related to the Internet recently. The findings obtained as a result of the research are given in detail in the results section.

The current study included 112 children under the age of five ...suffering from diarrhea, vomiting, high temperatures, severe weakness, and decreased fluid retention. The percentage of infection with Cryptosporidium spp was (38.4%), and the incidence of rotavirus was recorded at (33.1%). The percentage of females infected with the cryptosporidium parasite was 26 (45.3%) higher than males (17) 29.8%, while the rate of rotavirus infection in males was 21 (37.7%) higher than that of females 16 (28.17%), and this increase did not make a significant difference when A significant level of significance less than 0.05, in contrast to cryptosporidium. Infection with the cryptosporidium parasite and rotavirus was widespread among the age groups ranging from less than five years, and the age group less than a year infected with the cryptosporidium parasite was recorded as 36 (83.7%) and the rate of infection with rotavirus 28 (75.7%),. followed by the age group 1-2 years 4 (9.3%) with cryptosporidium and 5 (13.5%) rotavirus. While the lowest incidence of Cryptosporidium and Virus, which was equal in the age group 4-5 years, was (2.7%) and no positive infection with Cryptosporidium was recorded in the age groups (3-4) years and (2-3) years respectively.. It did not make a difference when Likelihood level P> 0.05. Cryptosporidium spp12 (44.0%) and through the statistical analysis, this difference in the numbers and percentages of the group of children infected and not infected with rotavirus and its relationship to the water source formed a significant difference statistically significant at a probability level less than 0.05. With regard to the presence and absence of disease symptoms represented (fever, abdominal pain, naursea, vomting, .weight loss, dehydration and other symptoms) in patients with cryptosporidium and rotavirus, as they reached varying proportions and had various differences with statistically significant P <0.05 or P> 0.05. The present study aimed to diagnose the Cryptosporidium parasite by using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and rotavirus using RT-PCR technique for dehydrated patients within 5 years by means of molecular biology diagnostic methods for the studied samples. .The present study concluded that the best and most rapid, accurate and economical methods of diagnosing the etiology of gastrointestinal diarrhea are the molecular and immunological biological methods.
