To measure water surface elevation, the measurement technique with ultrasonic technology has been recently being applied to various sectors, such as automotive, robotic and industrial requirement. ...This research aims to create water surface elevation measurement with JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensor, which has 0.5 cm measurement resolution. Arduino-Uno microcontroller with a microprocessor-Atmega238 type was used as a measurement data processing system. The system test was conducted in a river where the system was placed under the bridge, and then the elevation water surface levels were captured by the sensor. After that, the results were displayed on the LCD screen. The test was executed in 37 testing scenarios of the condition of the river water surface. Then, the measurement results from the system were compared to the manual measurement. The results showed that the value of measurement error was 0.75%. This finding is in line with the datasheet which indicates that WSN-SR04T sensor can provide a maximum resolution of 0.5 cm.

This study ...offers an alternative to online electrical energy consumption monitoring technique by using Arduino. It is interesting to know the accuracy of the work of the Arduino-based energy quality monitoring system with high accuration measurments tool Kyoritsu power analyzer KEW 6315 and Hioki 328-20. The method of this research is the design of 1 phase electrical energy monitoring system by using current sensor type SCT-013 and voltage sensor in the form of transformator. EmonLib Library was used for processing voltage and current data in Arduino. The validation of measurement results was done by comparing the results of Arduino with Kyoritsu KEW 6315 and Hioki 328-20. The measurement reporting technique was displayed online based on the website. The results provide a clear picture of the measurement performance of the developed system, that the system has a quality of performance close to Kyoritsu type kew 6315 that against Hioki 328-20 with an average error below 5% is acceptable. The results of the measurement of electrical energy consumption had been successfully displayed in the form of a website-based energy report.
This paper discusses about the measurement of optimization on feeder machine with automatic system control for aquaculture. This paper mainly aims to observe four main parts of feeding machine of ...aquaculture: major inlet, scale system, spiral tunnel, and throwing system. The observation done includes the energy of electricity usage of each unit of feeding weight which is processed, duration of process of each part, the exchange of rotor speeds, and the flow of feeding speed rate in gram per second. In this research, the design of feeding machine with automatic system based on Arduino Uno is conveyed. The feeds size used in this research are 2mm and 4mm. The measurement of optimization aims to consider the weight of the feeds, and the system of machine that works optimally. The result from experiment releases that the machine designed is able to work optimally on 2kg feeds of each process in 70 seconds and 71 seconds, and 0.085Wh on energy of electricity usage.

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Karakteristik Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada pelajaran biologi materi sel. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) melalui 4 tahapan yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (dessiminate). Hasil pengembangan lembar kerja model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Think Pair Share menunjukkan secara umum perangkat pembelajaran pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) model pembelajaran Kooperatif Think Phair Share (TPS) pada kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Monta, dapat dijadikan referensi penunjang keefektifan proses pembelajaran yang memberikan nuansa baru dalam pembelajaran biologi khususnya materi sel pada kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Monta.
Iron-deficient erythropoiesis results in excess formation of zinc protoporphyrin (ZPP), which can be measured instantly and at low assay cost using portable haematofluorometers. ZPP is used as a ...screening marker of iron deficiency in individual pregnant women and children, but also to assess population iron status in combination with haemoglobin concentration. We examined associations between ZPP and disorders that are common in Africa. In addition, we assessed the diagnostic utility of ZPP (measured in whole blood and erythrocytes), alone or in combination with haemoglobin concentration, in detecting iron deficiency (plasma ferritin concentration <15 μg/L).
Single blood samples were collected from a population sample of 470 rural Kenyan women with singleton pregnancies, gestational age 13 to 23 weeks, and haemoglobin concentration ≥90 g/L. We used linear regression analysis to assess associations between ZPP and iron markers (including anaemia), factors known or suspected to be associated with iron status, inflammation markers (plasma concentrations of C-reactive protein and α 1-acid glycoprotein), infections (Plasmodium infection, HIV infection), and other disorders (α(+)-thalassaemia, plasma concentrations of total bilirubin, and lactate dehydrogenase). Subsequently, in those without inflammation, Plasmodium infection, or HIV infection, we used logistic discriminant analysis and examined receiver operating characteristics curves with corresponding area-under-the-curve to assess diagnostic performance of ZPP, alone and in combination with haemoglobin concentration.
Individually, whole blood ZPP, erythrocyte ZPP, and erythrocyte protoporphyrin had limited ability to discriminate between women with and without iron deficiency. Combining each of these markers with haemoglobin concentration had no additional diagnostic value. Conventional cut off points for whole blood ZPP (>70 μmol/mol haem) resulted in gross overestimates of the prevalence of iron deficiency.
Erythrocyte ZPP has limited value to rule out iron deficiency when used for screening in conditions with a low prevalence (e.g., 10%). ZPP is of unreliable diagnostic utility when discriminating between pregnant women with and without iron deficiency. Based on these findings, guidelines on the use of ZPP to assess iron status in individuals or populations of pregnant women need review.

This paper proposes a hybrid successive over-relaxation iterative method for the numerical solution of a nonlinear diffusion in a one-dimensional porous medium. The considered mathematical model is ...discretized using a computational complexity reduction scheme called half-sweep finite differences. The local truncation error and the analysis of the stability of the scheme are discussed. The proposed iterative method, which uses explicit group technique and modified successive over-relaxation, is formulated systematically. This method improves the efficiency of obtaining the solution in terms of total iterations and program elapsed time. The accuracy of the proposed method, which is measured using the magnitude of absolute errors, is promising. Numerical convergence tests of the proposed method are also provided. Some numerical experiments are delivered using initial-boundary value problems to show the superiority of the proposed method against some existing numerical methods.
One of proposed Accident Tolerant Fuel (ATF) concept is fully ceramic micro-encapsulated fuel (FCMF). FCMF using uranium mononitride (UN) has better safety aspects than $UO_2$ pellet fuel although it ...might not have a better neutronic performance due to the presence of matrix and high neutron-induced interaction of $^{14}N$. Before implementing UN-FCMF technology in Small-PWR, further research must be taken place to make sure the proposed design of fuel assembly has inherent safety features and maintain the fuel performance. This study focusses on the neutronic analysis of UN-FCMF based fuel assembly using Serpent and SCALE codes. It is shown in the proposed fuel assembly design has inherent safety features with respect to the fuel temperature reactivity coefficient, void reactivity coefficient, and moderator temperature reactivity coefficient. It is noted that the use of FCMF leads to a lower ratio of burnup to $^{235}U$ enrichment ratio compared to the $UO_2/Zr$ fuel.
This article will explain how garbage care can be a way of realizing eco-spiritual care in the multifaith context of Indonesia. In Indonesia, the environment is a common concern, and waste is also a ...common problem. With a qualitative reflective method, the activities in garbage care are reflected in an eco-spiritual care perspective. Eco-spiritual care is an effort to assist human beings to find themselves in their environment. This reflection concludes that with a phenomenological approach, garbage care will make people find their ‘oneness’. This will underlie the renewal of attitudes toward their lives in a deeper, more positive way. In addition, this reflection on the eco-spiritual will broaden the understanding of pastoral care that has existed so far, because eco-spiritual care is not only for people who are sick, but those who want to find their natural selves. This also means that the meaning of eco-spiritual care is much broader than pastoral care because it means giving ‘good food’, not just shepherding and merely giving spiritual food. Indeed, it must be a good and healthy spiritual food to let people grow better spiritually.
Purpose: Conjugating cisplatin into hybrid nanoparticles is intended to enhance tumor accumulation in cancer therapy due to drug interaction with polymer and prevent premature drug release because of ...the presence of a lipid layer. Methods: Hybrid nanoparticles composed of polyethylene oxide-b-polymethacrylic acid, egg phosphatidylcholine, and surfactant, i.e. sodium cholate/sodium deoxycholate/Tween 80, were prepared by the injection method. Cisplatin was subsequently loaded by incubating the polymer-drug mixtures at the molar ratio of carboxylate ions of 2:1. Results: The results showed that the addition of surfactants produced particle sizes between 33 and 52 nm. The addition of cisplatin increased the ζ-potential to slightly positive charges with encapsulation efficiencies of 5%-18%. An in vivo biodistribution study of mice identified a cisplatin plasma concentration of sodium cholate-modified hybrid nanoparticles 10 times higher than cisplatin solution, thus producing high tumor accumulation. Conclusion: Conjugating cisplatin into sodium cholate-modified hybrid nanoparticles improves its accumulation in tumors.
This article portrays how the Catholic Church in Indonesia in the 1980s faced some legal civil decrees that were contrary to Catholic beliefs, but they nonetheless responded in a wise manner. Since ...the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Church has had a new outlook on the relationship between Church and State. As stated in canon 22 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law, the Church is willing to accept and observe civil law, as long as it is “not contrary to divine law and unless canon law provides otherwise”. There were three instances in which the Catholic Church in Indonesia had to deal with such controverting matters. The first was the divorce issue and the second was the enforcement of family planning. In both cases, the Catholic Church strongly opposes them. The third issue was the law on inter-religious marriage, which the State strongly prohibits, although the Catholic Church provides dispensation. The observation of the Indonesian Bishops’ Conference’s opinions shows that the Catholic Church were able to maintain good relations with the State because the bishops could apply the Catholic teachings in the Indonesian context and better distinguish the rights of being Catholic from the rights of being an Indonesian citizen.
