The performance of OFDM system depends on the how efficient channel estimation is, which directly impactsits bit error rate (BER). In this research work, the novel technique of pseudo-pilot aided ...OFDM system is usedits channel estimation with least square and Recursive Least Squares approach. In proposed technique, for channel estimation Pseudo-pilot technique is used in OFDM system over AWGN fading channels. A hybridization technique has been implemented to alleviate the error rate in the signals. The hybrid optimization approach is implemented on the estimated output for the optimum solution. The combination of the two optimization techniques is particle swarm optimization (PSO) and Moth Flame Optimization (MFO) method that is used for optimization of the performance rate. To get more optimum solutions (reducing BER) OFDM system is trained with neural network. The performance of the proposed techniques and the weighted scheme are compared and verified using computerized simulation carried out using Matrix Laboratory software. The hybrid approach is able to achieve low BER of the network. The BER of PSO is 1.004 × 10

at 18 dB SNR. It means hybrid optimization is done to optimize the performance of the channel and reduce the BERs, which will help to increase the channel estimation process as well as channel capacity and further reduces the losses while transmission from one end to the other end.
INTRODUCTION: Cervical cancer is the leading cancer among the other female cancers. It develops in the cervix of women. It takes decades in development thus can be preventable if diagnosed at an ...early stage. The cervix is classified into three types Type I/II/III. The efficacy of the treatment depends on the diagnosis of the right type of cervix. There is a thin line difference between the three types. Thus, identification of the right type of cervix becomes a difficult task for the health care providers too. To aid this problem, we proposed an algorithm based on the standard transfer learning approach used for building a model that classifies cervix images.OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study is to develop a cervical cancer predictive model based on deep learning and transfer learning techniques that will recognize and classify the cervix images into one of the classes (Type 1/Type2/Type3).METHODS: Techniques used for carrying out the experimental work includes deep learning and Transfer Learning. The three pertained models namely InceptionV3, ResNet50, and VGG19 are used for creating ConvNet that will classify the cervix images.RESULTS: The result of the experiment reveals that the Inception v3 model is performing better than Vgg19 and ResNet50 with an accuracy of 96.1% on the cervical cancer dataset. CONCLUSION: In the future, augmentation techniques can be employed to achieve better accuracy.
Purpose: The broad over-arching goals of this work were to study the existing constituents of green human resource management (HRM), to understand the green HRM practices being followed by different ...companies in India (belonging to certain sectors) and to compare the different sectors in terms of adoption of green HRM. Methodology: A questionnaire was meticulously prepared by the authors to collect the data for this study and was sent to various Indian companies belonging to four sectors: IT/IT services, banking/finance, consultancy and engineering/technology. The questionnaire included a carefully selected collection of questions to gain rich insights into different aspects of green HRM implementation. Findings: most of the companies included in this study are following green HRM (though to varying extents). Green recruitment, green training and development & green safety and health management are the most prominent green HRM functions while green performance appraisal is the least popular green HRM function among these organizations. The IT/IT services sector is most actively using green HRM practices while the banking/finance sector is the most reluctant to adopt green HRM. Practical Implications: a rigorous structure for companies to implement green HRM is provided.

Lymphoepithelial malignancy is an extremely rare carcinoma of the breast characterized by a confusing histopathological picture resembling medullary carcinomas, lymphoma, etc. It has also been ...reported in other regions of the body like salivary glands, nasopharyngeal area and sometimes the lung. Due to its rare presence and difficult diagnosis, the treatment is often prolonged and delayed. Here we present a case report of a 56-year-old lady who was eventually diagnosed as lymphoepithelial carcinoma of the breast. Her journey of evaluation and treatment was fraught with pathological nuances and an elimination drill of multiple differentials before concluding this rare diagnosis. Although lymphoepithelial-like carcinoma is a rare entity, multiple cases have been reported in the literature and their review is mandated to further our clinical knowledge about the oncological treatment and expected prognosis of such cases in the future. Our patient underwent a simple mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and is completely asymptomatic now. She has been cancer-free for the last seven years so far.
Background: Leprosy is a chronic granulomatous infection caused by Mycobacterium leprae or Mycobacterium lepromatosis and mainly affects the skin and peripheral nerves. Although treatable, its early ...intervention can significantly reduce the occurrence of disability. India accounts for more than half of new cases globally. This study was undertaken to better understand the clinical traits of newly diagnosed cases in a tertiary facility of Western Uttar Pradesh, and a few from Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Methods: The observational prospective study was carried out on all the newly diagnosed leprosy cases who visited the Outpatient Department of ICMR-National JALMA Institute for Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra, during October 2019-December 2022. After obtaining answers to a prestructured questionnaire with their consent, participants were enrolled in the study and underwent clinical examination and a slit-skin smear test. Results: A total of 56 cases were investigated, and among them, 20 (35.7%) and 36 (64.3%) women and men, respectively, had positive contact with persons affected by leprosy either within family, friends, or neighbors. It is observed that due to the delayed detection of leprosy cases, paucibacillary (PB) patients converted into multibacillary (MB) patients, and the number of MB cases is much higher compared to PB cases. Conclusion: Leprosy instances continue to spread frequently from sick to healthy people indicating continued transmission of leprosy in society. Multidrug therapy in the management of leprosy cases is effective; however, early diagnosis of PB cases is still a challenge and needs to be addressed on priority.
Leprosy is a slow, chronic disorder caused by Mycobacterium leprae. India has achieved elimination of leprosy in December 2005 but new cases are being detected and continue to occur in some endemic ...pockets. The possible ways of transmission of leprosy is not fully understood and is believed that leprosy is transmitted from person to person in long term contact. Studying the transmission dynamics is further complicated by inability to grow M. leprae in culture medium and lack of animal models. More than one family members were found to be affected by leprosy in some highly endemic pockets. This study reported the transmission pattern of leprosy in a family having 4 patients.
We investigated the transmission of leprosy in a single family having 4 patients using microsatellite typing. DNA was isolated from slit skin smear samples taken from the patients and the isolated DNA were amplified using microsatellite loci TA11CA3. The amplified products were sequenced using Sanger's sequencing methods and the copy number variation in the microsatellite loci between strains were elucidated by multiple sequence alignment. The result showed that all the 4 members of the family acquired infection from 3 different strains of M. leprae from 3 different sources. The elder and middle daughters were infected by same types of strains having the repeat unit TA13CA3 and could have acquired the infection from social contacts of leprosy cases while the father and younger daughter were infected by strains with the repeat unit TA12CA3 and TA11CA3 and could have acquired infection from social contacts.
The study suggested that three family members viz, elder daughter, father and younger daughter could be infected by M. leprae from 3 different sources and the history of the disease and genetic analysis showed that the middle daughter acquired infection from her elder sister in due course of contact. This study implies that the transmission of leprosy not only occurred amongst the house hold members but also has been transmitted from social and neighborhood contacts in long term association with the them.

Leprosy is a disease with spectral clinical manifestations along with two types of reactions, type 1 reaction (T1R) and type 2 reaction (T2R). T1R especially occurs because of the defensive ...upgradation of cell-mediated immunity (CMI) to M. leprae antigens. T1R is the main cause of disability in leprosy. The role of conventional adaptive T cells has been well studied to understand T1R. A comprehensive understanding of the role of unconventional T cells in the manifestation of inflammation during T1R is crucial and has not been studied. In our study, we found significantly higher plasma levels of TNFα, IL1β, IL17, and IP10 in T1R when compared to non-reaction (NR). Gene expression for cytokines in blood circulation by qPCR showed significantly higher expression of IFNγ, IP10, TNFα, IL6, IL17A and chemokines CCL3, CCR1, CCR5, and CXCR3 in T1R as compared to NR. Frequencies of NKT-like cells (48.7 %) and NK cells (22.3 %) were found significantly higher in T1R in comparison to NR (36.9 %, 18.3 %, respectively) (p = 0.0001). Significantly lower levels of γδT cells (3.32 %) were observed in T1R in comparison to NR (5.16 %). The present study has provided evidence for the first time on the role of plausible unconventional T cells in the immunopathogenesis of T1R in leprosy.
INTRODUCTION: With the progression of innovation and its joint effort with health care services, the world has achieved a lot of benefits. These improved methods will assist health care providers in providing intelligent medical services. OBJECTIVES: This Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among the other female cancers. This cancer is preventable with early diagnosis. This reason becomes the motivation of the research work. For efficiently and timely prognosis of cervical cancer require a computer-assisted algorithm.METHODS: The work demonstrated in this paper contributes to the techniques of machine learning for diagnosing cervical cancer. The machine learning algorithms used in this research are K Nearest Neighbour, Support Vector Machine and Random Forest Tree. These classification algorithms are used with class balancing techniques including undersampling, Oversampling and SMOTE. RESULTS: The evaluation metrics used for comparative analysis includes accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, negative predicted accuracy, and positive predictive accuracy. The results show the Random Forest algorithm with SMOTE technique delivered more promising results over SVM and KNN for four target variables Schiller, Biopsy, Hinselmann , and Cytology respectively. CONCLUSION: It is concluded that with the limited amount of data which also suffers from the unbalancing problem the promising results drawn using the proposed model.
