Inexpensive bulk Ni–Sn alloy-based catalysts demonstrated a unique catalytic property in the selective conversion of C5-furan compounds (e.g., furfuraldehyde (FFald), furfuryl alcohol (FFalc), and ...2-methylfuran (2-MTF)) in an ethanol/H2O solvent mixture and selectively produced 1,4-pentanediol (1,4-PeD) in a one-pot reaction. The synergistic actions between the bulk Ni–Sn alloy catalyst, hydrogen gas, and the hydroxylated H2O or ethanol/H2O solvents are believed to play a prominent role in the catalytic reactions. Bulk Ni–Sn alloy catalysts that consisted of Ni3Sn or Ni3Sn2 alloy phases allowed an outstanding yield of 1,4-PeD up to 92% (from FFald), 67% (from FFalc), and 48% (from 2-MTF) in ethanol/H2O (1.5 : 2.0 volume ratio) at 433 K, 3.0 MPa H2 and 12 h. As the reaction temperature increased to 453 K, the yield of 1,4-PeD slightly decreased to 87% (from FFald), whereas it slightly increased to 71% (from FFalc). The bulk Ni–Sn alloy catalysts were reusable without any significant loss of selectivity.

This study investigates whether the ownership of a retirement program is owned only by those who have a purpose in life in old age or also owned by those who focus on working well now and do not have ...a purpose in life in old age. The study population is employees, and entrepreneurs who have worked, with sample criteria have a steady income with a specific educational background. The number of samples is 52 respondents. The result revealed that having the purpose of life in old age, and focusing on the purpose of life at the moment encourage someone to have a pension program. The results of the study stated that the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable appeared weak. The independent variable "has the purpose of old age life" and the independent variable "focus on life goals current" can explain 0.69 % of the dependent variable "has retirement fund program.
Individual entrepreneurial orientation and innovation are essentials for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to drive their performance, including surviving or even growing during economic crises. ...The entrepreneur’s gender might have an impact on those relationships. Hence, this study aims to analyze whether there were some differences in the five dimensions of individual entrepreneurial orientation and differences in the influence of individual entrepreneurial orientation and innovation on performance between male and female entrepreneurs. The study was performed through an online survey of 352 SME owners in Indonesia. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and multi-group analysis were conducted to test the hypotheses. The results demonstrated that all dimensions of individual entrepreneurial orientation are valid for developing this construct, but only the risk-taking dimension distinguishes male and female entrepreneurs the most. Male entrepreneurs are more willing to take risks than female. Furthermore, individual entrepreneurial orientation affects performance mediated by innovation, and this effect is not different between male and female entrepreneurs. These findings enrich the literature on the impact of gender on entrepreneurial orientation and the influence of innovation on SME performance. In Indonesia, individual entrepreneurial orientation affects performance assisted by innovation; however, this influence is not different for SMEs managed by male and female entrepreneurs. Background: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a new concept used in medical world, especially for wound healing. The main process that affects the PRP quality is the centrifugation process. This study ...aimed to assess the PRP separation process and determine the best technique of various centrifugation process.Methods: This experimental study used acid citrate dextrose (ACD) blood taken from 11 healthy respondents and compared three-techniques including the single centrifugation (SC), the double centrifugation (DC), and the double centrifugation turn down - turn up (DC-TDTU) techniques. The quality of PRP was measured based on blood cells count (platelet, leukocyte, erythrocyte count, and Ht value) at each stage of centrifugation. The examination was carried out in 2021 at the Hematology Laboratory, Poltekkes Jakarta 3.Results: The mean values of platelets, leukocytes, and Ht were increased in PRP compared to plasma supernatant both using the DC and DC-TDTU techniques, wherase the SC technique decreased in plasma compared with whole blood. When the procedures using DC and DC-TDTU are carried out properly, platelets would be concentrated in the second centrifugation. However, some erythrocyte and leukocyte contamination occurred by DC-TDTU technique compared to the DC technique.Conclusion: The double centrifugation technique is the best Platelet-rich plasma separation technique compared to the DC-TDTU and SC techniques.
Abstract. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between perceptions of social guidance and social attitudes with the confidence of class XI's students of SMA Negeri 1 Kokap Kulon ...Progo. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational research type with a research subject of 55 students. The data analysis technique uses current product display techniques, without partials and without doubles. From the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.596, which means that the perception of personal guidance and social attitudes together contributes to self-confidence by 59.6% and the remaining 40.4% is caused by other variables outside the perception of social personal guidance. and social attitudes. This study provides an overview of guidance and counseling teachers about personal social guidance, social attitudes and self-confidence. Based on the results of this study, it can be used as material for consideration in developing guidance and counseling service programs according to the needs of students in schools.
Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi bimbingan pribadi sosial dan sikap sosial dengan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kokap Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan subjek penelitian sejumlah 55 siswa. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment, korelasi partial dan korelasi ganda. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,596 yang artinya bahwa persepsi bimbingan pribadi sosial dan sikap sosial secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi terhadap kepercayaan diri sebesar 59,6% dan sisanya 40,4% disebabkan oleh variabel lain di luar persepsi bimbingan pribadi sosial dan sikap sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling tentang persepsi bimbingan pribadi sosial, sikap sosial dan kepercayaan diri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam menyusun program layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang sesuai kebutuhan siswa di sekolah.
Molybdenum oxide-modified ruthenium on titanium oxide (Ru–(y)MoOx/TiO2; y is the loading amount of Mo) catalysts show high activity for the hydroconversion of carboxylic acids to the corresponding ...alcohols (fatty alcohols) and aliphatic alkanes (biofuels) in 2-propanol/water (4.0/1.0 v/v) solvent in a batch reactor under mild reaction conditions. Among the Ru–(y)MoOx/TiO2 catalysts tested, the Ru–(0.026)MoOx/TiO2 (Mo loading amount of 0.026 mmol g−1) catalyst shows the highest yield of aliphatic n-alkanes from hydroconversion of coconut oil derived lauric acid and various aliphatic fatty acid C6–C18 precursors at 170–230 °C, 30–40 bar for 7–20 h. Over Ru–(0.026)MoOx/TiO2, as the best catalyst, the hydroconversion of lauric acid at lower reaction temperatures (130 ≥ T ≤ 150 °C) produced dodecane-1-ol and dodecyl dodecanoate as the result of further esterification of lauric acid and the corresponding alcohols. An increase in reaction temperature up to 230 °C significantly enhanced the degree of hydrodeoxygenation of lauric acid and produced n-dodecane with maximum yield (up to 80%) at 230 °C, H2 40 bar for 7 h. Notably, the reusability of the Ru–(0.026)MoOx/TiO2 catalyst is slightly limited by the aggregation of Ru nanoparticles and the collapse of the catalyst structure.
This paper is a review of some experiments using black soldier fly (BSF) and its by-product to explore their nutritional value, production potential in Indonesia and its application in the ration of ...ruminants. Evaluation on the effect of milk replacer, creep feed containing BSF, BSF frass and the possibility to use lactic acid bacteria from BSF as probiotics are presented. Utilization of BSF larvae in milk replacer as skim and cream milk substitute showed that there were similarity on physiological, hematological status and performance of goat kids compared to those offered goat milk or commercial milk replacer. In addition, BSF larvae can be used to substitute soybean meal in the creep feed for post weaning goat kids without any differences in weight gain and blood profiles. However, utilization of BSF frass in the fattening goat ration resulted lower digestibility of dry matter and organic matter due to the chitin content in the frass. Black soldier fly larvae grown on chicken manure harbour lactic acid bacteria (LAB) which have potential as probiotics for ruminants. In general, BSF larvae has potential as ingredient for milk replacer, creep feed, fattening ration, and source of LAB for probiotics.

We suffered anxiety and depression during the home isolation. For that, I have to implement peaceful communication, with correct information and ensure that these conditions are things that must be lived together, so that openness is needed for all families about what they feel, what they think, what they want, and what is needed because a disease pandemic situation that affects people's psychology widely and massive, starting from the way of thinking in understanding information about health and illness, changes in emotions (fear, worry, anxiety) and social behavior (avoidance, stigmatization, healthy behavior). We also optimise the chatting application to communicate, and share our updates with the other loving family members and friends. The current condition has changed, after all family members are declared healthy and with a new order in society, we are jointly committed to sticking to health protocols at home, for example always wearing masks and face shields, always washing hands diligently, maintaining distance. all done with sincerity and joy, because it is a must so that all family members can stay healthy. All my family activities inside the house and outside the house, still pay attention to and apply health protocols. The past experience is a valuable experience for us as a family, so that we always pay attention to personal health, family and the environment around them. The family always maintains interpersonal communication, is mutually responsible for maintaining personal and family hygiene with a healthy lifestyle, and is open in communicating all problems that exist in the family. Through the ability to communicate emotions, families are expected to strengthen each other so that they can survive the covid-19 pandemic together.
Perlman syndrome is a congenital overgrowth syndrome inherited in an autosomal recessive manner that is associated with Wilms tumor susceptibility. We mapped a previously unknown susceptibility locus ...to 2q37.1 and identified germline mutations in DIS3L2, a homolog of the Schizosaccharomyces pombe dis3 gene, in individuals with Perlman syndrome. Yeast dis3 mutant strains have mitotic abnormalities. Yeast Dis3 and its human homologs, DIS3 and DIS3L1, have exoribonuclease activity and bind to the core RNA exosome complex. DIS3L2 has a different intracellular localization and lacks the PIN domain found in DIS3 and DIS3L1; nevertheless, we show that DIS3L2 has exonuclease activity. DIS3L2 inactivation was associated with mitotic abnormalities and altered expression of mitotic checkpoint proteins. DIS3L2 overexpression suppressed the growth of human cancer cell lines, and knockdown enhanced the growth of these cells. We also detected evidence of DIS3L2 mutations in sporadic Wilms tumor. These observations suggest that DIS3L2 has a critical role in RNA metabolism and is essential for the regulation of cell growth and division.
