Reactivation of Indonesia’s full membership to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) triggered discussion surrounding global petroleum governance. The country which decided to ...suspend its full membership at the end of 2008, currently labelled as net oil importer. However, in OPEC terms Indonesia never really left, instead of the organization termed it as a "suspension”. Departing from the abovementioned context and perspectives, purpose of this essay is to answer the questions about the significance of the Indonesia’s membership reactivation to OPEC, and the strategic context of the reactivation in the current global oil market. In answering these questions, this article draws the dynamics of the relation of Indonesia and OPEC through the history in the first part and explores Indonesia’s interests in rejoining OPEC in the second one. In the third part, this essay will explore the possible benefit for OPEC as an organization as well as for its member countries could achieve by approving Indonesia’s request to reactivate its membership, despite its status as a net oil importer.

Finally, emerging form of software security solutions, which did not give full guarantee to be free from loss, it certainly can reduce public confidence. Based on the relevant legislation, namely Law No. 40 of 20014 any emerging risks and capable of causing the loss can be the object of insurance. This means that all forms of transactions in e-commerce should be insured in order to ensure certainty and security in the transaction. The rules regarding insurance with respect to electronic commerce should be regulated specifically in a chapter in the Law No. 40 of 2014 on insurance, so as to provide clear regulation about insurance sehubungannya with e-commerce. Through normative legal research methods are expected to be able to prove how a clear legal basis to the problem in question, especially in the perspective to businesses as well as the Insurance Act itself.
The successful synthesis and preparation of Zn/Al layered double hydroxide, cellulose, and Zn/Al-cellulose materials were analyzed using XRD, FT-IR, and BET. The diffraction peaks of Zn/Al layered ...double hydroxide are at 10.3°; 20.3°; 34.8°; and 60.40°, while the diffraction peaks of cellulose are at 15.5°; 22.4°; and 34.5°. Diffraction peaks on Zn/Al layered double hydroxide and cellulose were observed at 3442 cm-1, 1642 cm-1, 1440-1620 cm-1, 1351 cm-1, 1153 cm-1, and 400-800 cm-1. The surface area of the material after the composite increased from 1.968 to 13.615 m2/g. The optimum pH for Zn/Al LDH was pH 4, pH 10 for cellulose, and pH 2 for Zn/Al-cellulose. The isotherm data of Zn/Al LDH and cellulose followed the Freundlich model, while Zn/Al-cellulose followed the Langmuir model. The reuse of adsorbents in the adsorption process can be used up to 3 times.
The adsorbents potential ZnAl-LDH, ZnAl-Hydrochar, and ZnAl-Humic acid were prepared using the coprecipitation method. The adsorbents were characterization by XRD, FTIR, and BET analysis. XRD peaks ...of ZnAl-LDH at 10.29°, 20.07°, 29.59°, 32.12°, 34.02°, 48.06°, and 60.16°. The FTIR absorption peak was observed at 3400-3500 cm−1, 1600-1700 cm−1, 1381 cm−1, 1000 cm−1, 500-700 cm−1. All adsorbents exhibited N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms type IV classified as a mesoporous structure (pore size= 2-50 nm). The surface areas of composites were higher than LDH and following order: ZnAl-Hydrochar > ZnAl-Humic acid > ZnAl-LDH. The kinetic parameter showed the pseudo-second-order kinetics model. The maximum adsorption capacity of ZnAl-LDH, ZnAl-Hydrochar, and ZnAl-Humic acid were 48.077 mg/g, 90.090 mg/g, 94.340 mg/g, respectively; with Freundlich isotherm model. Reusability after 5 times of ZnAl-LDH, ZnAl-Hydrochar, and ZnAl-Humic acid in the range 49.81-0.890%, 95.92-9.84%, and 70.02-5.72%, respectively. The adsorbent can be used up to 3 times.
Indonesia had been the largest LNG exporter for almost three decades since 1977 to 2005. During 1970s and 1980s, Indonesia’s energy industry boosted its economic growth that valued 80% of the ...country’s annual exports and 70% of its annual revenues. Meanwhile, Indonesia presents an exceptional case since it decreases its LNG export while it has been developing its largest LNG plant in Tangguh due to prioritizing domestic energy demand. But, since Indonesia eagerly links its economy to China, it uses LNG export as a medium to strengthen Indonesia-China strategic partnership. Tangguh LNG export to China, although it is not Indonesia’s largest LNG export contract, reflects a unique case of a developing country’s international energy trade. Because it presents evolution of Indonesia’s LNG export policy through dynamics of regional and global economic turbulences. This paper analyses the LNG export in the context of Asian economic crisis and its recovery, the peak of crude oil price in 2008 and followed by global financial crisis as the context as well as Indonesia’s domestic political dynamics.
The filamentous fungus Magnaporthe oryzae is the causal agent of rice blast disease. Here we show that glycogen metabolic genes play an important role in plant infection by M. oryzae. Targeted ...deletion of AGL1 and GPH1, which encode amyloglucosidase and glycogen phosphorylase, respectively, prevented mobilisation of glycogen stores during appressorium development and caused a significant reduction in the ability of M. oryzae to cause rice blast disease. By contrast, targeted mutation of GSN1, which encodes glycogen synthase, significantly reduced the synthesis of intracellular glycogen, but had no effect on fungal pathogenicity. We found that loss of AGL1 and GPH1 led to a reduction in expression of TPS1 and TPS3, which encode components of the trehalose-6-phosphate synthase complex, that acts as a genetic switch in M. oryzae. Tps1 responds to glucose-6-phosphate levels and the balance of NADP/NADPH to regulate virulence-associated gene expression, in association with Nmr transcriptional inhibitors. We show that deletion of the NMR3 transcriptional inhibitor gene partially restores virulence to a Δagl1Δgph1 mutant, suggesting that glycogen metabolic genes are necessary for operation of the NADPH-dependent genetic switch in M. oryzae.

This paper presents an implementation of Simulated Kalman Filter (SKF) algorithm for optimizing an Assembly Sequence Planning (ASP) problem. The SKF search strategy contains three simple steps; ...predict-measure-estimate. The main objective of the ASP is to determine the sequence of component installation to shorten assembly time or save assembly costs. Initially, permutation sequence is generated to represent each agent. Each agent is then subjected to a precedence matrix constraint to produce feasible assembly sequence. Next, the Angle Modulated SKF (AMSKF) is proposed for solving ASP problem. The main idea of the angle modulated approach in solving combinatorial optimization problem is to use a function, g(x), to create a continuous signal. The performance of the proposed AMSKF is compared against previous works in solving ASP by applying BGSA, BPSO, and MSPSO. Using a case study of ASP, the results show that AMSKF outperformed all the algorithms in obtaining the best solution.
The establishment of polarity is a critical process in pathogenic fungi, mediating infection-related morphogenesis and host tissue invasion. Here, we report the identification of TPC1 (Transcription ...factor for Polarity Control 1), which regulates invasive polarized growth in the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae. TPC1 encodes a putative transcription factor of the fungal Zn(II)2Cys6 family, exclusive to filamentous fungi. Tpc1-deficient mutants show severe defects in conidiogenesis, infection-associated autophagy, glycogen and lipid metabolism, and plant tissue colonisation. By tracking actin-binding proteins, septin-5 and autophagosome components, we show that Tpc1 regulates cytoskeletal dynamics and infection-associated autophagy during appressorium-mediated plant penetration. We found that Tpc1 interacts with Mst12 and modulates its DNA-binding activity, while Tpc1 nuclear localisation also depends on the MAP kinase Pmk1, consistent with the involvement of Tpc1 in this signalling pathway, which is critical for appressorium development. Importantly, Tpc1 directly regulates NOXD expression, the p22phox subunit of the fungal NADPH oxidase complex via an interaction with Mst12. Tpc1 therefore controls spatial and temporal regulation of cortical F-actin through regulation of the NADPH oxidase complex during appressorium re-polarisation. Consequently, Tpc1 is a core developmental regulator in filamentous fungi, linking the regulated synthesis of reactive oxygen species and the Pmk1 pathway, with polarity control during host invasion.
