KEDR is a general-purpose detector for experiments at the VEPP-4M e
+e
−-collider in the energy range 2
E=2.0–
12
GeV
. All detector subsystems (except the aerogel Cherenkov counters) have been ...installed into the detector at VEPP-4M. Some preliminary data have been taken in the energy region of the J/Ψ meson. The tuning of the detector and the VEPP-4M collider is in progress. Preliminary results on the detector performance are presented. The future experimental program for the KEDR detector is discussed.

To accept, select and process the information of colliding beam experiments we have constructed a DAQ called “KLYUKVA”. The main principles are: distribution of 500MHz clock frequency from one center ...for measurements of time intervals; disposition of all registering electronics in special crates with fast databus and triggers communications; using of fast processors with built-in algorithms as crate controllers. This DAQ with triggers can provide 250 selected and processed events per second for on-line computer with ∼15% of losses. The DAQ works now on all three INP detectors: KEDR, SND and KMD-2.

Results of the measurement of the φ meson parameters with the general purpose detector CMD-2 at the upgraded
e
+
e
− collider VEPP-2M at Novosibirsk are presented. This is the first measurement of ...the four major φ decay modes in a single
e
+
e
− experiment. The results based on about 55,600 identified hadronic events are consistent with previous measurements, and have precision comparable to the current world average.
A search for
φ radiative decays has been performed using a data sample of about 2.0 million
φ decays collected by the CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M collider in Novosibirsk. From the selected
e
+
e
−→
π
+
...π
−
γ events the following results were obtained:
B(
φ→
f
0(980)
γ)<1×10
−4 for destructive and
B(
φ→
f
0(980)
γ)<7×10
−4 for constructive interference with the Bremsstrahlung process respectively,
B(
φ→
γ→
π
+
π
−
γ)<3×10
−5 for

−4. From the selected

e

μ

μ

γ events
B(
φ→

>20 MeV. The upper limit on the P,CP-violating decay

− has also been placed:

An integrated luminosity ≈ 4000 nb
−1 of around F meson mass (5.0 × 10
6 of F's) has been collected with the CMD-2 detector at the VEPP-2M collider. The latest analysis of the
K
S
K
L
coupled decays ...based on 30% of available data is presented in this paper.
The
K
S
K
L
pairs from F decays were reconstructed in the drift chamber when both kaons decayed into two charged particles. From a sample of 1423 coupled decays a selection of candidates for the CP-violating
K
L
→
π
+
π
− decay was performed. CP-violating decays were not identified because of the dominance of events with a
K
L
regenerating at the Be beam pipe into
K
S
and a background from
K
L
semileptonic decays.
The regeneration cross section of 110 MeV/
c
K
L
's was found to be
σ
reg
Be = 53 ± 17 mb, in agreement with theoretical expectations. The angular distribution of
K
S
's after regeneration and the total cross section of
K
L
for Be have been measured.
A system to detect light from liquid argon scintillation has been implemented in a small, ICARUS-like, liquid argon time projection chamber. The system, which uses a VUV-sensitive photomultiplier to ...collect the light, has recorded many ionizing tracks from cosmic-rays in coincidence with scintillation signals. Our measurements demonstrate that scintillation light detection can provide an effective method for absolute time measurement of events and eventually a useful trigger signal.
