Üçlü yapı olarak adlandırılan devlet, işveren ve çalışanlar iş sağlığı ve güvenliğinin (İSG) sağlanmasından ve iyileştirilmesinden sorumlu taraflar olarak kabul edilmektedir. Üçlü yapı gözetilerek ...hazırlanan 6331 sayılı İSG Kanunu Türkiye’de 2012 yılından itibaren yürürlükte bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada üçlü yapıyı ilgilendiren çalışanların güvenlik yetkinliği, çalışanların 6331 sayılı İSG Kanunu uygulamalarından memnuniyeti ve çalışanların bireysel çıktıları arasındaki ilişkileri araştırmak amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için Sakarya’daki 6331 sayılı İSG Kanununa tabi firma çalışanları hedef kitle olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacını gerçekleştirmek için gerekli veriler 304 çalışandan anket tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler keşfedici faktör analizi (KFA) ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) yöntemleri kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Analiz bulguları göstermiştir ki; güvenlik yetkinliği ile 6331 sayılı İSG Kanunu uygulamalarından memnuniyet, güvenlik yetkinliği ile bireysel çıktılar ve 6331 sayılı İSG Kanunu uygulamalarından memnuniyet ile bireysel çıktılar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı pozitif yönde doğrudan bir ilişki vardır. Ayrıca, güvenlik yetkinliğinin İSG Kanunu uygulamalarından memnuniyet üzerinden bireysel çıktılar üzerinde dolaylı etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada üçlü yapıyı oluşturan devlet, işveren ve çalışanın birlikte hareket etmesiyle Türkiye’de İSG’nin sağlanabileceği ve iyileştirilebileceği ampirik olarak ortaya konulmuştur.
The objective of the study is to investigate the relationships between safety training and competence, employee participation and involvement, employee satisfaction, and safety performance. Data were ...collected from 128 manufacturing firms implementing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in Turkey. The data were analysed through respectively exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The findings indicated that safety training and competence has a significant positive effect on employee participation and involvement; while employee participation and involvement has a significant positive effect on employee satisfaction; and safety performance has a significant positive effect on employee satisfaction. Furthermore, it was also found that employee satisfaction is indirectly affected by safety training and competence through employee participation and involvement.
To investigate the positive effects of intraperitoneal administration of alpha-lipolic acid (ALA) and dexpanthenol (DXP) on wound healing after tracheal surgery in rats.
The study was carried out at ...Necmettin Erbakan University, Konya, Turkey, from January 2014-2019. A total of 30 healthy and adult Sprague-Dawley type female rats were included in the study. For the experiment, rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: ALA group (n=10), DXP group (n=10), and control group (n=10). After trachea surgery, 100 mg/kg/day ALA was given to group ALA and 100 mg/kg/day intraperitoneal DXP to group DXP for 15 days, and the rats were sacrificed on the 21st day. The excised tracheal sections were evaluated and graded for inflammatory cell infiltration, angiogenesis, fibroblast proliferation, collagen deposition, and epithelial regeneration to evaluate wound healing.
Inflammation was found to be less in both the ALA and DXP groups. With the Mann-Whitney test, it was determined that inflammation was less in the ALA group than in the DXP group (C-D
=0.097 and C-A
=0.024). On the other hand, no statistically significant difference was found in epithelial regeneration (
=0.574; >0.05), angiogenesis (
=0.174; >0.05), fibroblast proliferation, and collagen deposition (
=0.102; >0.05).

In addition, a meaningful relationship between internal control and accident and sickness absenteeism was determined. Statistically meaningful relationships between emergency measures, and health surveillance and internal control, and accident and sickness absenteeism could not be determined.
It is concluded that the actions implemented by organizations to reduce absenteeism should be as per OHS legislation.

Çalışmada araştırma yöntemlerinden döküman analizi yöntemi ve gözden geçirme derleme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada çeşitli bilimsel veri ve yayınlar taranmış, kaynaklar gözden geçirilerek araştırma konuları tasnif edilmiş, bazı resmî kurumların istatistiki verilerinden yararlanılmıştır. Literatür taraması sırasında dağcılık ve spor turizmi ilişkileri gözden geçirilmiştir. Ağrı Dağı’nda en büyük sorun barınma sorunudur. Ağrı Dağı’nda ağustos ayında bile fırtına, kar, yağmur anlık yağmakta ve hava şartları gece eksi derecelere kadar düşmekte bu da haliyle insanları çok zor durumda bırakmaktadır. Dağ'da yapılacak olan bir tesisin olması aynı zamanda kış turizmi içinde uygun tırmanışların yapılmasına imkân tanıyarak bölgeye çok daha fazla turist gelmesine vesile olacaktır. Dağ’a Tırmanış için en uygun zaman Ağustos ve Eylül aylarıdır. Yüksek dağlık alanlarda yaşayan ve ekonomik kaynakları yetersiz toplumlar açısından turizm bir şans olarak değerlendirilebilir. Ülkemizde turizmin gelişmesi, çeşitlenmesi ve dağlık yörelerde yaşayan nüfusun turizmden ek gelir sağlaması, olumlu bir gelişme olarak düşünebilir.

60 Turkish men with a diagnosis of chronic pulmonary lung disease.
Clinical and demographic characteristics were similar in patients who underwent EBV and EBC. Thirty (96.8%) EBV patients and 27 (93.1%) of the EBC patients were able to properly complete the PFT before the procedures, but all complied after the procedures. Significant improvement in PFTs were achieved after the procedure and there were no statistically significant differences in post-procedure performance. For the 6MWT, the completion rate improved from 15 (48.4%) to 19 (61.3%) patients in the EBV patients (
=.125) and from 19 (65.5%) to 21 (72.4%) patients in the EBC patients (
=.500). There was no significant difference in completion rates for the walking test for either group (median 32 meters in EBV patients and 37 meters in EBC patients;
=.652). Vital signs and arterial blood gases were similar in the two groups. The rates of complications were similar in both groups.

Objective. The purpose of the study is to examine the relationships between safety behaviours (safety compliance and safety participation), their determinants (safety motivation and knowledge of ...safety) and their antecedent (safety training) affecting employee safety productivity, an economic benefit of occupational health and safety (OHS). Methods. The study was carried out with employees participating in the basic OHS training, which is mandatory every 2 years for all personnel due to the related legal obligation. The data required for the research purpose were collected by surveying 453 employees. The collected data were then tested using the methods of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Results. The findings of the analyses showed that safety training, safety knowledge, safety motivation and safety compliance affect the improvement of employee safety productivity, one of the economic benefits of OHS. The study also suggested that safety participation does not influence the improvement of employee productivity. Furthermore, a new scale concerning employee safety productivity has been brought to the safety literature. Conclusion. It is suggested that organizational managers wishing to increase employee safety productivity focus particularly on training regarding the safety knowledge, skills, motivation and compliance of employees.

Here, we wanted to emphasize the necessity of follow-up of Covid 19 patients after discharge by presenting our case who developed giant bulla in the late period, but not in the early follow-up after Covid 19.
We aimed to report the demographic characteristics with diagnosis and treatment methods in patients with concomitant hepatopulmonary hydatid cysts.
Over a ten-year period (from 2002-2020) in Konya, ...Turkey, surgery was performed on 52 patients with hepatopulmonary hydatid cyst. Main outcome measure(s) were 52 hydatid cysts patients, which had cysts both in the liver and lungs, were investigated regarding their age, gender, cyst localization, suppuration, symptoms, and treatment methods.
Seventeen of the patients were males. Their mean age was 39.7±18.8 years. The most common occupation was housewifery. The most common symptom was coughing and none of the patients with concomitant hepatopulmonary hydatid cysts was asymptomatic. The pulmonary hydatid cysts were mostly encountered in the right lung and the majority of the hepatic hydatid cysts were observed in the right lobe. The mean hospitalization time of the operated patients was 17.12±6.7 days.
In patients with hydatid cysts localized concomitantly in the right lung and subdiaphragmatic area, right thoracotomy for the pulmonary cyst and a transdiaphragmatic approach for the hepatic cyst is a safe, effective, and comfortable method.
