In the post-pandemic era we’re living through, it can seem as though real life resides in the virtual world – the one driven by screens and the sedentary lifestyle that shapes a human being’s posture ...and intellectual faculties (Vincent, 2018). As we look back over this period of enforced confinement, it is worth examining how being at home has changed our perception of personal space. In the best cases it has generated an openness in which thoughts, images and actions ‘converge’, allowing us to turn our attention to the self. At the precise moment that body and space become vehicles for memories and emotions, the value and significance of the body re-emerges. Based on the epistemological aspects of motor praxeology as developed by Parlebas, which aims to move beyond dichotomies of mind/body and theory/practice, this study offers a consideration of the communicative or semi-motor value of movement, as well as the importance of teaching artistic movement in school (Crispiani, 2006).
Finally, based on a hybrid set of practical experiences in person and online, we consider the methods that enhance the centrality of the body and perception through the imparting of movement through dance: a type of action in which the self becomes manifest through seeing, moving, perceiving and doing (Husserl, 1950).
RICONOSCIMENTO DELL’HATE SPEECH: IL RUOLO DELL’EMPATIA E DELLA CONSAPEVOLEZZA DELL’INFLUENZA DEI SOCIAL MEDIA Abstract Hate speech occurs within democratic societies that embrace freedom of ...expression and is made tangible in the social network context. It is characterized by a specific form of discrimination based on the use of verbal expressions or other media content and, usually, directed at minority groups. Although there is a lack of consensus about a unique and shared definition of hate speech, its social and personal consequences are particularly relevant for the whole society. For these reasons, it seems of crucial importance to identify hate speech recognition antecedents. The present study aimed at analyzing the relationship between hate speech recognition and specific psychological constructs, namely, empathy and awareness of social media influence. More in details, we hypothesized the association between empathy and hate speech recognition was mediated by awareness of social media influence. Data obtained from 146 participants revealed that empathy positively predicted hate speech recognition, and such relationship was mediated by awareness. Implication of such findings are discussed.

In recent years, particular attention and, at the same time, concern have animated the public and political debate, introducing into the pedagogical lexicon dimensions concerning justice, equity and merit concerning academic results, performance, the achievement of skills, and, therefore, the need and methods of evaluation. Therefore, a fundamental antinomy has arisen in education policies: a school that wants to be inclusive must guarantee progress and educational success to each one, and therefore cannot be selective, that is, allow itself to leave someone behind and pursue merit, intended as a reward and waste recognition. A society and a school that want to enhance the differences and consider the specific needs of each one must reconsider the aims of education and instruction, in the perspective of educating society, guaranteeing everyone the achievement of transversal skills goals and professionalizing.

The survey of teachers’ perspectives on the teaching of refugees and immigrant pupils by Kurbegovic (2016) is used to evaluate five dimensions of teachers’ self-perception: ...Selfefficacy, Implementation Practices, Cultural Competence, Competence/Preparation and Student Needs. The present study is aimed at analysing the self-awareness of primary school teachers of the teaching of refugee and immigrant students in Italy. The survey of Kurbegovic within its 30 items (Cronbach’s Alpha = .86) was conducted on a sample of 190 teachers who teach in primary schools in Rome. After removing 2 items that are cross loading, the exploratory factor analysis (Maximum likelihood method with Oblimin rotation) confirms a five-factor structure and shows a good construct validity and reliability. Current research reveals that the survey of teachers’ perspectives on refugee and immigrant populations is appropriately adapted to assess Italian primary school teachers’ views. This tool demonstrates its usefulness not only for research but also for pedagogical practice and can help to create an inclusive classroom environment that provide students with equal access to the curriculum and learning experiences.
The goals established by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the new needs that globalization has created, have prompted researchers to examine young people’s educational and ...professional experiences in the context of economic and social disadvantages, considering agency capacities and psychological factors. Following these research interests, this study aimed to evaluate Italian university students’ perceptions of socioeconomic barriers to achieving professional goals and the effects of these perceived barriers on some indicators of adaptation. The study included 401 Italian university students (M = 24.18, SD = 3.33). The results demonstrated that economic constraints can be a psychological barrier to career advancement by negatively influencing the perception of being able to actively choose one’s professional future and by diminishing the psychological resources required to adapt to complex environments. In turn, this can indirectly affect the perceived gap between a person’s career goals and their progress toward achieving them, thereby impeding their adaptation processes. The implications of the research are discussed.
The purpose of this research was to adapt the Early Numeracy Test - Revised (ENT-R) to the Italian population. It is a tool for the evaluation of mathematical competence for children aged 4 to 7 ...years, designed and calibrated by Van Luit y Van de Rijt (2009). The test is designed to assess the competence of early mathematics and mathematical learn- ing and it is useful in identifying possible problems and in the specific areas of: concept of confrontation; classification (relative to the amount); one correspondence-ad-one; seriation; verbal count (use of cardinal numbers); structured count (count synchronously and in abbreviated form), resulting count; general knowledge of numbers and estimate on the line number. The test has been calibrated for a sample of 633 children (333 males and 300 females) from 14 schools in Rome and Trieste. The test analysis of validity and reliability (Cronbach’s alpha 0.93) allow to consider the ENT-R as an appropriate and useful tool for evaluating mathematical knowledge in Italian students at the end of kindergarten and the first years of primary school.
