The increasing rate of industrialization, anthropogenic, and geological activities have expedited the release of heavy metals (HMs) at higher concentration in environment. HM contamination resulting ...due to its persistent nature, injudicious use poses a potential threat by causing metal toxicities in humans and animals as well as severe damage to aquatic organisms. Bioremediation is an emerging and reliable solution for mitigation of these contaminants using rhizospheric microorganisms in an environmentally safe manner. The strategies are based on exploiting microbial metabolism and various approaches developed by plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB) to minimize the toxicity concentration of HM at optimum levels for the environmental clean-up. Rhizospheric bacteria are employed for significant growth of plants in soil contaminated with HM. Exploitation of bacteria possessing plant-beneficial traits as well as metal detoxifying property is an economical and promising approach for bioremediation of HM. Microbial cells exhibit different mechanisms of HM resistance such as active transport, extra cellular barrier, extracellular and intracellular sequestration, and reduction of HM. This paper studies if there is a relationship between (a) the students' rating of the three family related variables as important or unimportant and (b) their intention to start their own business; ...or their intention to work for someone else; after they have completed their undergraduate education, whether or not they have completed work for a degree. Statistical testing of various responses using eighteen hypotheses found no such relationships. The first nine statistical tests found no relationship between the students' rating of the three family related variables as important and unimportant (Q. 16, 17, and 18) and their intention to start their own business (Q15ab) once they have completed their undergraduate studies whether they have obtained a degree or not-data classified by male, female, and total components. Similarly, the remaining nine statistical tests also found no relationship between the students' rating of the three family related variables as important and unimportant (Q. 16, 17, and 18) and their intention to work for someone else (Q15c) once they have completed their undergraduate studies whether they have obtained a degree or not-data classified by male, female, and total components. This article is one of a kind in two particular ways. One, it presents (a) students' intention for starting a business and (b) students' intention for working for someone else in the same writing; and two, it is based on the data that were collected about ten years ago which has its own historical significance for comparison for future studies. Suggestions for improvement would be highly appreciated.

However, the study accepted the fourth null hypothesis: That there is no statistical difference between students' gender-and their intention to starting a business once they have completed their undergraduate studies. The investigation was executed with nine treatments viz. nano forms of ferrous sulfide (7, 14, 21, 28 ppm) and macro ferrous sulphate (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 per cent) along with control, and were ...applied as foliar sprays after 30 days of transplanting on two varieties of calendula namely Fiesta Gitana Mix’ and ‘Fiesta Yellow’ during 2018 and 2019. The experiment was laid out in factorial randomized block design with three replications. Application of 0.8 % FeSO4 recorded maximum number of branches (26.75), plant height (29.73 cm), plant spread (45.17 cm), number of leaves (22.63) and seed test weight (15.63 g) and number of flowers per plant (134.04). However, application of 0.2% macro FeSO4 resulted in early bud appearance (50.50 days) and higher flower diameter (8.09 cm). ‘Fiesta Gitana Mix’ outperformed over ‘Fiesta Yellow’ for most of the vegetative and floral characters. The ‘Fiesta Yellow’ variety with oil content (13.97%) had an edge over ‘Fiesta Gitana Mix’.

Heavy metals cause outrageous ecological risks when released into the environment from many point and non-point sources. Biosorbents prepared from the leaves of

) from wastewater. Biosorption of Cd

was investigated using

biomass under batch conditions. The effect of operating variables like temperature, contact time, the pH impact, and initial metal concentration and biosorbent portion on Cd
2+
removal has been studied. The optimal pH and the sorbent dosage were found to be 7.0 and 2.0 g L

, respectively, and removal efficiency attained was 93.3% with an equilibrium removal time of 90 min. The equilibrium uptake of Cd

Present work deals with the assessment of physico‐chemical parameters of water samples of Kosi river at Kosi sampling station during 2004 and 2005 in pre monsoon, monsoon and post monsoon seasons. ...Statistical studies have been carried out by calculating correlation coefficients between different pairs of parameters and t‐ test applied for checking significance. The observed values of various physico‐chemical parameters of water samples were compared with standard values recommended by WHO. It is found that an appreciable significant positive correlation holds for chloride with pH, Mg, Na, hardness and total suspended solid; and sodium with hardness, EC and sulphate. A significant negative correlation was found between potassium with turbidity, Cl‐, EC and hardness. All the physicochemical parameters of Kosi water are within the highest desirable limit or maximum permissible limit set by WHO except turbidity and BOD which recorded a high value.
