A recent result of the cross section measurement of the process e + e − → K S K π at e + e − collider VEPP-2000 is presented using a data sample of the ∼150 pb−1 integrated luminosity collected with ...the CMD-3 detector. The processes with charged kaons in multi hadron events attract special interest, because they impact strongly on studies of light quark hadronization, isospin symmetry, and strange meson spectroscopy. Experimental results of e + e − → K S K π cross section are presented in a broad energy range covered by the VEPP-2000 and compared to earlier measurements. A study of the production dynamics confirms the dominance of neutral KK * ( 892 ) intermediate state.
The cross section of the process e + e − → π + π − has been measured in the center of mass energy range from 0.32 to 1.2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000. The ...measurement is based on a full dataset collected below 1 GeV during three data taking seasons, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 62 pb − 1 . In the dominant ρ -resonance region, a systematic uncertainty of 0.7% has been reached. At energies around ϕ -resonance the π + π − production cross section was measured for the first time with high beam energy resolution. The forward-backward charge asymmetry in the π + π − production has also been measured. It shows a strong deviation from the theoretical prediction based on the conventional scalar quantum electrodynamics framework, and it is in good agreement with the generalized vector-meson-dominance and dispersive-based predictions. The impact of the presented results on the evaluation of the hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of muon is discussed. Published by the American Physical Society 2024
Reorientation of hydrides in the course of dry storage of spent nuclear fuel is a possible mechanism for the degradation of the properties of fuel claddings made of alloy E110 (Zr–1% Nb) based on ...spongy zirconium in VVER reactors. To determine the degree of reorientation of hydride precipitates in fuel claddings under conditions that simulate the conditions of dry storage, a series of tests have been performed for unirradiated samples with a hydrogen content of 100 and 200 wppm at various levels of circumferential stresses up to 100 MPa for 40 days. The orientation of hydride precipitates is determined using metallographic measurements. To assess the mechanical characteristics, the ring specimens have been tested for static uniaxial tension. The hydrides are analyzed using transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. It is shown that test conditions lead to partial reorientation of hydride precipitates, which contributes, in turn, to a decrease in the plasticity.
We present a measurement of the pion form factor based on e+e− annihilation data from the CMD-2 detector in the energy range 0.6<s<1.0 GeV with a systematic uncertainty of 0.8%. A data sample is five ...times larger than that used in our previous measurement.

The CMD-3 detector started data taking at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000 in December 2010 with a goal to collect about 1 fb−1. The collected data sample corresponds to an integrated ...luminosity of 200 pb−1 in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.32 up to 2 GeV. This paper reports recent results on the hadronic cross sections measurements with the CMD-3 detector.
Lumpy ore after semi-autogenous milling in Copper–Nickel ore processing at the Talnakh factory is studied. The lumpy ore is mainly presented by sizes −80+40 and −40+20 mm. The X-ray radiometric ...separation tests of the lumpy ore prove their efficiency in production of concentrate and tailings. The strength characteristics and the Bond work index of the concentrate are determined. The results of flotation of the X-ray radiometric concentrate are described.
The outcome of endodontic treatment directly depends on the high-quality instrumental and medical treatment of root canals. The most effective, widespread and well-known antiseptic used for rinsing ...root canals is sodium hypochlorite. Unfortunately, in the process of irrigation complications arise in the form of sodium hypochlorite of various concentrations extrusion into the periapical region. We must not forget about the anatomical and topographic features of the structure of nearby structures, such as the mandibular canal and the maxillary sinus. The aim of the clinical case is to assess the depth of irrigant penetration into the periodontal area using radiography and to develop an algorithm for actions in the event of a hypochlorite accident.

The research results on floatability of old gold-bearing tailings are presented. The complex material composition and process features of processing waste are governed by difference in treatment of ...various ore types (sulfide, oxidized and mixed) at processing plant, as well as with supergene processes in the tailings pond. Feasibility of re-flotation of tailings is discussed. It is found that short-term mechanical activation of tailings in a mill with the subsequent flotation (at the adjusted reagent mode as against the current technology) results in gold recovery of 29.0 to 45.4% in flotation concentrate at the residue content of metal in rejects at the level of 0.2–0.3 g/t.
