We present the results of the first Dalitz plot analysis of the decay D0 → K−π+η. The analysis is performed on a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 953 fb−1 collected by the ...Belle detector at the asymmetric-energy e+e− KEKB collider. The Dalitz plot is well described by a combination of the six resonant decay channels K* ( 892 )0η, K−a0 ( 980 )+, K−a2 ( 1320 )+, K* ( 1410 )0η, K* ( 1680 )−π+ and K2* ( 1980 )−π+, together with Kπ and Kη S-wave components. The decays K* ( 1680 )− → K−η and K2* ( 1980 )− → K−η are observed for the first time. We measure ratio of the branching fractions, ... (B PDG). Using the Dalitz fit result, the ratio ... is measured to be ...; this is much lower than the theoretical expectations ( ≈ 1 ) made under the assumption that K*( 1680 ) is a pure 13D1 state. The product branching fraction ... is determined. In addition, the π η ′ contribution to the a0( 980 )± resonance shape is confirmed with 10.1 σ statistical significance using the three-channel Flatté model. We also measure ... . This is consistent with, and more precise than, the current world average ( 1.02 ± 0.30 ) % , deviates with a significance of more than 3 σ from the theoretical predictions of (0.51–0.92)%. We report the analysis of the three-body e^{+}e^{-}→BBover ¯π^{±}, BBover ¯^{*}π^{±}, and B^{*}Bover ¯^{*}π^{±} processes, including the first observations of the Z_{b}^{±}(10610)→BBover ...¯^{*}+c.c.^{±} and Z_{b}^{±}(10650)→B^{*}Bover ¯^{*}^{±} transitions that are found to dominate the corresponding final states. We measure Born cross sections for the three-body production of σ(e^{+}e^{-}→BBover ¯^{*}+c.c.^{±}π^{∓})=17.4±1.6(stat)±1.9(syst) pb and σ(e^{+}e^{-}→B^{*}Bover ¯^{*}^{±}π^{∓})=8.75±1.15(stat)±1.04(syst) pb and set a 90% C.L. upper limit of σ(e^{+}e^{-}→BBover ¯^{±}π^{∓})<2.9 pb. The results are based on a 121.4 fb^{-1} data sample collected with the Belle detector at a center-of-mass energy near the ϒ(10860) peak.
The measurement of two-particle angular correlation functions in high-multiplicity e^{+}e^{-} collisions at sqrts=10.52 GeV is reported. In this study, the 89.5 fb^{-1} of hadronic e^{+}e^{-} ...annihilation data collected by the Belle detector at KEKB are used. Two-particle angular correlation functions are measured in the full relative azimuthal angle (Δϕ) and three units of pseudorapidity (Δη), defined by either the electron beam axis or the event-shape thrust axis, and are studied as a function of charged-particle multiplicity. The measurement in the thrust axis analysis, with mostly outgoing quark pairs determining the reference axis, is sensitive to the region of additional soft gluon emissions. No significant anisotropic collective behavior is observed with either coordinate analyses. Near-side jet correlations appear to be absent in the thrust axis analysis. The measurements are compared to predictions from various event generators and are expected to provide new constraints to the phenomenological models in the low-energy regime.

We report on the first Belle search for a light CP-odd Higgs boson, A^{0}, that decays into low mass dark matter, χ, in final states with a single photon and missing energy. We search for events ...produced via the dipion transition ϒ(2S)→ϒ(1S)π^{+}π^{-}, followed by the on-shell process ϒ(1S)→γA^{0} with A^{0}→χχ, or by the off-shell process ϒ(1S)→γχχ. Utilizing a data sample of 157.3×10^{6} ϒ(2S) decays, we find no evidence for a signal. We set limits on the branching fractions of such processes in the mass ranges M_{A^{0}}<8.97 GeV/c^{2} and M_{χ}<4.44 GeV/c^{2}. We then use the limits on the off-shell process to set competitive limits on WIMP-nucleon scattering in the WIMP mass range below 5 GeV/c^{2}.
Here, we discuss the first observation of the radiative charm decay D0 → ρ0γ and the first search for CP violation in decays D0 → ρ0γ , φγ , and K ¯ *0 ( 892 ) γ , using a data sample of 943fb-1 ...collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The branching fraction is measured to be B ( D0 → ρ0γ ) = ( 1.77±0.30±0.07 ) ×10-5 , where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The obtained CP asymmetries A CP ( D0 → ρ0γ ) =+0.056±0.152±0.006 , A CP ( D0 → φγ ) = -0.094±0.066±0.001 , and A CP ( D0 → K ¯ *0γ ) =-0.003±0.020±0.000 are consistent with no CP violation. Furthermore, we present an improved measurement of the branching fractions B ( D0 → φγ ) = ( 2.76±0.19±0.10 ) ×10-5 and B ( D0 → K ¯ *0γ ) = ( 4.66±0.21±0.21 ) ×10-4 .
We have searched for the Cabibbo-suppressed decay Λc+→ϕpπ0 in e+e− collisions using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 915 fb−1. The data were collected by the Belle ...experiment at the KEKB e+e− asymmetric-energy collider running at or near the ϒ(4S) and ϒ(5S) resonances. No significant signal is observed, and we set an upper limit on the branching fraction of B(Λc+→ϕpπ0)<15.3×10−5 at 90% confidence level. The contribution of nonresonant Λc+→K+K−pπ0 decays is found to be consistent with zero, and the corresponding upper limit on its branching fraction is set to be B(Λc+→K+K−pπ0)NR<6.3×10−5 at 90% confidence level. We also search for an intermediate hidden-strangeness pentaquark decay Ps+→ϕp. We see no evidence for this intermediate decay and set an upper limit on the product branching fraction of B(Λc+→Ps+π0)×B(Ps+→ϕp)<8.3×10−5 at 90% confidence level. Finally, we measure the branching fraction for the Cabibbo-favored decay Λc+→K−π+pπ0; the result is B(Λc+→K−π+pπ0)=(4.42±0.05(stat)±0.12(syst)±0.16(norm))%, which is the most precise measurement to date.
This work reports the first observation of azimuthal asymmetries around the thrust axis in e+e− annihilation of pairs of back-to-back charged pions in one hemisphere, and π0 and η mesons in the ...opposite hemisphere. These results are complemented by a new analysis of pairs of back-to-back charged pions. The π0 and η asymmetries rise with the relative momentum z of the detected hadrons as well as with the transverse momentum with respect to the thrust axis. These asymmetries are sensitive to the Collins fragmentation function H1⊥ and provide complementary information to previous measurements with charged pions and kaons in the final state. In particular, the η final states will provide additional information on the flavor structure of H1⊥. This is the first measurement of the explicit transverse-momentum dependence of the Collins fragmentation function from Belle data. It uses a dataset of 980.4 fb−1 collected by the Belle experiment at or near a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV.
