TCP proteins are plant specific transcription factors that play important roles in plant growth and development. Despite the known significance of these transcription factors in general plant ...development, their specific role in fruit growth remains largely uncharted. Therefore, this study explores the potential role of TCP transcription factors in the growth and development of sweet cherry fruits.
Thirteen members of the PavTCP family were identified within the sweet cherry plant, with two, PavTCP1 and PavTCP4, found to contain potential target sites for Pav-miR159, Pav-miR139a, and Pav-miR139b-3p. Analyses of cis-acting elements and Arabidopsis homology prediction analyses that the PavTCP family comprises many light-responsive elements. Homologs of PavTCP1 and PavTCP3 in Arabidopsis TCP proteins were found to be crucial to light responses. Shading experiments showed distinct correlation patterns between PavTCP1, 2, and 3 and total anthocyanins, soluble sugars, and soluble solids in sweet cherry fruits. These observations suggest that these genes may contribute significantly to sweet cherry light responses. In particular, PavTCP1 could play a key role, potentially mediated through Pav-miR159, Pav-miR139a, and Pav-miR139b-3p.
This study is the first to unveil the potential function of TCP transcription factors in the light responses of sweet cherry fruits, paving the way for future investigations into the role of this transcription factor family in plant fruit development.

Sweet cherries are economically important fruit trees, and their quality changes during development need to be determined. The mechanism of fruit quality changes in sweet cherries were determined by ...analyzing sweet cherry fruits at 12 developmental stages. The results showed that the soluble sugar, anthocyanin content, and hormones of sweet cherries all changed drastically during the color transition. Therefore, the fruits at the beginning of color conversion, at the end of color conversion, and at the ripening state were selected for the comprehensive analysis of their metabolome and transcriptome. Different sugars, such as D-glucose, sucrose, and trehalose, were identified in the metabolome. Dihydroquercetin, delphinidin-3-glucoside, cyanidin-3-rutincoside, and other flavonoid species were also identified. D-glucose and cyanidin-3-rutinoside were among the most important components of sweet cherry soluble sugars and anthocyanins, respectively. The transcriptional analysis identified key structural genes and nine transcription factors involved in the ABA, sugar, organic acid, and anthocyanin synthesis pathways, with the following specific regulatory patterns.

Northeast China is an important ecological barrier and commodity grain base in China. The coupling coordination relationship between geology-geomorphology and ecology has become a critical background ...condition for ecosystem protection and sustainable development. Taking Northeast China as a case (accounting for about 13% of China's land area), 9 divisions are divided according to the characteristics of regional ecology and geology-geomorphology, and 17 indicators are selected to build an evaluation index system. Methods of analytic hierarchy process, entropy weight and game theory are used to determine the index weights. Based on the coupling coordination degree (CCD) model, the spatial coupling coordination characteristics of geology-geomorphology and ecology are studied. The variation characteristics of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) are evaluated by Sen+Mann-Kendall (Sen+MK) method. Our results are as follows. (1) The coupling between geology-geomorphology and ecology is strong, but the spatial differentiation of CCD is obvious. Nine divisions are evaluated as two high-level, three medium-level and three low-level coordination types and one mild imbalance type. (2) The plain divisions Ⅰ and Ⅳ where the typical black soil belt is located are high coordination types. Restricted by geology-geomorphological conditions or ecological conditions, mountain divisions Ⅲ and Ⅶ and plain division Ⅴ are moderate coordination types, mountain divisions Ⅱ and Ⅷ and plateau division Ⅸ are low coordination types, and mountain division Ⅵ is mild imbalance type. (3) The variation trend of NDVI shows a significant increase in divisions Ⅲ, Ⅴ, Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅶ. it shows a significant decrease in part of divisions Ⅳ, Ⅵ, Ⅷ and Ⅸ, and ecological management and construction should be strengthened in these divisions. The research shows that the CCD model method is feasible for evaluating the relationship between geology-geomorphology and ecology and can provide eco-geological background information for Northeast China.

Cu-Mn-Si catalysts with copper-manganese oxides as the main constituents and silica dioxide as the supports were prepared by co-precipitation method. The performance of the catalysts for the ...dehydrogenation reaction of the 2-butanol to methyl ethyl ketone was tested. The effects of Cu and Mn ratios on the catalytic performance were investigated. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, SEM, H2-TPR, TG, BET and XPS, to reveal the catalytic mechanism. The results showed that after adding the manganese, the copper-manganese complexes were formed in the catalysts, which effectively improved the activity of the catalysts. XRD results showed that a new phase of Cu-Mn complex was formed in the fresh catalysts, and reduced copper species appeared in the spent catalysts; TPR results showed that the reduction temperature of the catalysts could be reduced by adding appropriate amount of manganese; XPS results showed that the proportion of Cu++Cu0 can be increased in the fresh catalyst and that of Cu2+ in the spent catalyst can be decreased after the addition of manganese. When the mole ratio of Cu, Mn and Si in the catalysts was 0.8:0.2:1, the conversion of 2-butanol could reach 94.9%, and the selectivity of methyl ethyl ketone was 98%.
Understanding urban spatial pattern of land use is of great significance to urban land management and resource allocation. Urban space has strong heterogeneity, and thus there were many researches ...focusing on the identification of urban land use. The emergence of multiple new types of geospatial data provide an opportunity to investigate the methods of mapping essential urban land use. The popularization of street view images represented by Baidu Maps is benificial to the rapid acquisition of high-precision street view data, which has attracted the attention of scholars in the field of urban research. In this study, OpenStreetMap (OSM) was used to delineate parcels which were recognized as basic mapping units. A semantic segmentation of street view images was combined to enrich the multi-dimensional description of urban parcels, together with point of interest (POI), Sentinel-2A, and Luojia-1 nighttime light data. Furthermore, random forest (RF) was applied to determine the urban land use categories. The results show that street view elements are related to urban land use in the perspective of spatial distribution. It is reasonable and feasible to describe urban parcels according to the characteristics of street view elements. Due to the participation of street view, the overall accuracy reaches 79.13%. The contribution of street view features to the optimal classification model reached 20.6%, which is more stable than POI features.

Chondroitin sulfate (CS) is widespread in mineralized tissues and is considered to play crucial roles during the mineralization process. However, its role in biomineralization remains controversial. In the present study, CS is immobilized to collagen fibrils to mimic its state in biomineralization. The results demonstrate that immobilized CS on collagen fibrils accelerates calcium phosphate nucleation and significantly promotes collagen mineralization by accumulating calcium ions in collagen fibrils. The stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy results confirm that CS gives the specific nucleation sites for calcium phosphate to preferentially form, the improved intrafibrillar heterogeneous nucleation of calcium phosphate facilitates intrafibrillar mineralization. It is found remarkably accelerated remineralization of CS immobilized demineralized dentin is achieved. This study offers insight on the understanding of the function of the biomacromolecule CS on the biomineralization front. In addition, CS effectively promotes intrafibrillar mineralization, which highlights fine prospect for CS to reconstruct collagen-mineralized tissues as a natural material.
In order to improve the low output accuracy caused by the elastic deformations of the branch chains, a finite element-based dynamic accuracy analysis method for parallel mechanisms is proposed in ...this paper. First, taking a 5-prismatic-spherical-spherical (PSS)/universal-prismatic-universal (UPU) parallel mechanism as an example, the error model is established by a closed vector chain method, while its influence on the dynamic accuracy of the parallel mechanism is analyzed through numerical simulation. According to the structural and error characteristics of the parallel mechanism, a vector calibration algorithm is proposed to reduce the position and pose errors along the whole motion trajectory. Then, considering the elastic deformation of the rod, the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic equations of each component are established by combining the finite element method with the Lagrange method. The elastodynamic model of the whole machine is obtained based on the constraint condition of each moving part, and the correctness of the model is verified by simulation. Moreover, the effect of component flexibility on the dimensionless root mean square error of the displacement, velocity and acceleration of the moving platform is investigated by using a Newmark method, and the mapping relationship of these dimensionless root mean square errors to dynamic accuracy is further studied. The research work provides a theoretical basis for the design of the parameter size of the prototype.
Abstract
Background
To evaluate and compare the clinical outcomes of digitally prefabricated and conventionally fabricated implant-supported full-arch provisional prostheses.
Methods
In this ...retrospective study, a total of 39 patients (22 males and 17 females) who underwent implant-supported full-arch rehabilitation using the All-on-4 concept with an immediate loading protocol were included: 20 patients treated with digitally prefabricated provisional prostheses were assigned into Group A, and 19 patients treated with conventionally fabricated provisional prostheses were assigned into Group B. Implant/provisional prosthesis survival rates and complications were reviewed. Marginal bone loss (MBL) was investigated by CBCT. Surgical time, restorative time, and total operative time were analyzed. Postoperative pain and swelling were evaluated with the visual analog scale (VAS). The oral health impact profile (OHIP) questionnaire was administered before and after surgery.
Results
The implant/provisional prosthesis survival rate was 100%, and complications appeared with low frequency in both groups, while the mean MBL was 0.30 ± 0.29 mm in Group A and 0.31 ± 0.41 mm in Group B after 3~ 6 months (
P
> 0.05). The average restorative time in Group A (116.16 ± 16.61 min) was significantly shorter than that in Group B (242.11 ± 30.14 min) (
P
< 0.05). Patients in Group A showed lower pain/swelling VAS scores after surgery than Group B (
P
< 0.05). Low OHIP scores with high satisfaction with the overall effects were shown in both groups.
Conclusion
Prefabricated prostheses reduced the prosthetic time and postoperative discomfort in patients whose immediate rehabilitation was based on the All-on-4 concept. This prefabrication technology may be a predictable alternative to improve the short-term clinical outcome of implant-supported full-arch provisional rehabilitation.
Liquid-liquid phase separation is considered a generic approach to organize membrane-less compartments, enabling the dynamic regulation of phase-separated assemblies to be investigated and pivotal ...roles of protein posttranslational modifications to be demonstrated. By surveying the subcellular localizations of human deubiquitylases, USP42 was identified to form nuclear punctate structures that are associated with phase separation properties. Bioinformatic analysis demonstrated that the USP42 C-terminal sequence was intrinsically disordered, which was further experimentally confirmed to confer phase separation features. USP42 is distributed to SC35-positive nuclear speckles in a positively charged C-terminal residue- and enzymatic activity-dependent manner. Notably, USP42 directs the integration of the spliceosome component PLRG1 into nuclear speckles, and its depletion interferes with the conformation of SC35 foci. Functionally, USP42 downregulation deregulates multiple mRNA splicing events and leads to deterred cancer cell growth, which is consistent with the impact of PLRG1 repression. Finally, USP42 expression is strongly correlated with that of PLRG1 in non-small-cell lung cancer samples and predicts adverse prognosis in overall survival. As a deubiquitylase capable of dynamically guiding nuclear speckle phase separation and mRNA splicing, USP42 inhibition presents a novel anticancer strategy by targeting phase separation.
