The aim of the study was to verify the association between the prevalence of Burnout Syndrome and the level of physical activity of students at a public university in southern Brazil. The ...cross-sectional study with probabilistic and intentional sampling included 584 university students. To assess the level of physical activity, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) - long version was applied. Burnout syndrome was assessed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory Student Survey - (MBISS) and a sociodemographic questionnaire was also used. For data analysis, association tests and crude and adjusted multinomial logistic regression analyzes were used to estimate the odds ratios (OR) . The results indicated that students inactive at work had higher chances of average professional effectiveness and students inactive at leisure had higher chances of high emotional exhaustion and average disbelief.
Abstract. The aim of this study was to analyze the quality of life of adolescents in socially vulnerable situations. The sample consisted of 222 teenagers from 12 to 18 years old, who attended the final years of elementary school and high school. Data collection was performed using a sociodemographic questionnaire using the KIDSCREEN-27 short version. The Chi-Square and Fisher's Exact tests were used to verify the associations between sociodemographic variables and quality of life. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test, followed by Dunn's post-hoc test, were used to compare sociodemographic variables and quality of life between shifts. The significance level adopted was 95% p <0.05. The results indicated that adolescents in a situation of social vulnerability present a positive perception of their quality of life. The gender variable revealed differences in the physical, psychological, social support and group of friends dimensions, except for the school dimension, in which there was found no difference. Younger adolescents and those who perform some professional activity demonstrated a good perception of quality of life.

It is well established that therapeutic impairment of Foxp3
Treg in mice and humans favors immune rejection of solid tumors. Less explored is the impact Foxp3 allelic variants may have on tumor ...incidence, progression and therapy. In this work, we tested and demonstrate that the Foxp3
reporter allele, found previously to either enhance or reduce Treg function in specific autoimmunity settings, confers increased anti-tumor immunity. Our conclusions stem out of the analysis of three tumor models of different tissue origin, in two murine genetic backgrounds. When compared to wild type animals, mice carrying the Foxp3
allele spontaneously delay, reduce or prevent primary tumor growth, decrease metastasis growth, and potentiate the response to anti-CTLA4 monotherapy. These findings suggest allelic variances at the Foxp3 locus may serve as predictive indicators for personalized therapy and prognostics, and point at possible new therapeutic targets.

In this work, we tested and demonstrate that the Foxp3fgfp reporter allele, found previously to either enhance or reduce Treg function in specific autoimmunity settings, confers increased anti‐tumor immunity. Genetic alterations at the Foxp3 locus are most commonly associated with autoimmunity and inflammatory manifestations. In this work we evidence that a Foxp3 variant known to affect regulatory T cell functions acts as an hypomorph in a tumor context and enhances the effectiveness of anti‐CTLA4 immunotherapy.

Abstract Sprengel deformity is a congenital elevation of the scapula. Herein is reported the case of a child with the right scapula at a higher level compared to the left and limited abduction of the ...right shoulder. Other pathoanatomical anomalies can be associated. Treatment is usually conservative, since surgery is only considered in patients with severe scapular function limitation, neck pain, or to improve cosmesis.
We study the scalar and Yukawa sectors of three Higgs doublets models with a generalized CP symmetry. We show that there are only four classes of scalar potentials, merely one more than in two Higgs ...doublet models (2HDM). In 2HDM with generalized CP symmetries extended to the Yukawa sector, there are only two possible cases: the usual CP, with 18 real Yukawa couplings; and a minimal generalized CP model, with 12 real Yukawa parameters. In contrast, with three Higgs there is a rich variety of allowed models. We classify all possible Yukawa textures, showing that there are 40 possibilities, several of which have only 10 real Yukawa couplings.

Many of the performance-based mobility measures that are currently used in Huntington's disease (HD) were developed for assessment in other neurological conditions such as stroke.
We aimed to assess ...the individual item-response of commonly used performance-based mobility measures, with a view to optimizing the scales for specific application in Huntington's Disease (HD).
Data from a larger multicentre, observational study were used. Seventy-five people with HD (11 pre-manifest & 64 manifest) were assessed on the Six-Minute Walk Test, 10-Meter Walk Test, Timed "Up & Go" Test (TUG), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Physical Performance Test (PPT), Four Square Step Test, and Tinetti Mobility Test (TMT). The Unified Huntington's Disease Rating Scale (UHDRS) Total Motor Score, Functional Assessment Scale and Total Functional Capacity scores were recorded, alongside cognitive measures. Standard regression analysis was used to assess predictive validity. Individual item responses were investigated using a sequence of approaches to allow for gradual removal of items and the subsequent creation of shortened versions. Psychometric properties (reliability and discriminant ability) of the shortened scales were assessed.
TUG (β 0.46, CI 0.20-3.47), BBS (β -0.35, CI -2.10-0.14), and TMT (β -0.45, CI -3.14-0.64) were good disease-specific mobility measures. PPT was the best measure of functional performance (β 0.42, CI 0.00-0.43 for TFC & β 0.57 CI 0.15-0.81 for FAS). Shortened versions of BBS and TMT were developed based on item analysis. The resultant BBS and TMT shortened scales were reliable for use in manifest HD. ROC analysis showed that shortened scales were able to discriminate between manifest and pre-manifest disease states.
Our data suggests that the PPT is appropriate as a general measure of function in individuals with HD, and we have identified shortened versions of the BBS and TMT that measure the unique gait and balance impairments in HD. These scales, alongside the TUG, may therefore be important measures to consider in future clinical trials.
