The last unknown neutrino mixing angle has been successfully measured by the Daya Bay, RENO and Double Chooz experiments. The used oscillation probability formula is based on the plane-wave model. A ...wave-packet model is necessary for a self-consistent description of neutrino oscillations. The oscillation probability formula in the wave-packet model describes effects missing in the plane-wave approximation, such as delocalization, decoherence and dispersion which all depend on a single unknown parameter σp - momentum dispersion of the neutrino wave-packet. The survival probability formula in the wave-packet model was used to fit the Daya Bay data. The high-statistics data set of reactor ν ¯ e interactions in the Daya Bay experiment allows us to study the neutrino oscillation in the wave-packet model and provide the first experimental constraint of σp. Some results of our study are reported in this paper.

angle $\theta_{13}$ at the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment. Electron
antineutrinos were ...identified by inverse $\beta$-decays with the emitted
neutron captured by hydrogen, yielding a data-set with principally distinct
uncertainties from that with neutrons captured by gadolinium. With the final
two of eight antineutrino detectors installed, this study used 621 days of data
including the previously reported 217-day data set with six detectors. The
dominant statistical uncertainty was reduced by 49%. Intensive studies of the
cosmogenic muon-induced $^9$Li and fast neutron backgrounds and the
neutron-capture energy selection efficiency, resulted in a reduction of the
systematic uncertainty by 26%. The deficit in the detected number of
antineutrinos at the far detectors relative to the expected number based on the
near detectors yielded $\sin^22\theta_{13} = 0.071 \pm 0.011$ in the
three-neutrino-oscillation framework. The combination of this result with the
gadolinium-capture result is also reported.
The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is proposed to determine the neutrino mass hierarchy using an underground liquid scintillator detector. It is located 53 km away from both ...Yangjiang and Taishan Nuclear Power Plants in Guangdong, China. The experimental hall, spanning more than 50 meters, is under a granite mountain of over 700 m overburden. Within six years of running, the detection of reactor antineutrinos can resolve the neutrino mass hierarchy at a confidence level of 3-4\(\sigma\), and determine neutrino oscillation parameters \(\sin^2\theta_{12}\), \(\Delta m^2_{21}\), and \(|\Delta m^2_{ee}|\) to an accuracy of better than 1%. The JUNO detector can be also used to study terrestrial and extra-terrestrial neutrinos and new physics beyond the Standard Model. The central detector contains 20,000 tons liquid scintillator with an acrylic sphere of 35 m in diameter. \(\sim\)17,000 508-mm diameter PMTs with high quantum efficiency provide \(\sim\)75% optical coverage. The current choice of the liquid scintillator is: linear alkyl benzene (LAB) as the solvent, plus PPO as the scintillation fluor and a wavelength-shifter (Bis-MSB). The number of detected photoelectrons per MeV is larger than 1,100 and the energy resolution is expected to be 3% at 1 MeV. The calibration system is designed to deploy multiple sources to cover the entire energy range of reactor antineutrinos, and to achieve a full-volume position coverage inside the detector. The veto system is used for muon detection, muon induced background study and reduction. It consists of a Water Cherenkov detector and a Top Tracker system. The readout system, the detector control system and the offline system insure efficient and stable data acquisition and processing.

Dolgareva S., Bashkirova N. Cystic fibrosis related diabetes (CFRD)- is the most common comorbidity in people with cystic fibrosis , occurring in 20% of adolescents and 40–50% of adults. According to the Guidetothe Development of Children's Palliative Care Services life-limiting conditions may be delineated at four broad groups. Cystic fibrosis is a problem from group 2 - conditions where there may be long periods of intensive treatment aimed at prolonging life and allowing participation in normal childhood activities, but premature death is still possible.Basic aspects of CFRD were discussed, such as cause of the disease, genetic defects, differential diagnosis and principles of treatment. Two clinical cases of pediatric CFRD patients resented to highlight problems of management in terms of potential palliative care.According to our observations, patients with the CFRD, unfortunately, are perceived as patients with cystic fibrosis with no clear attention to diabetes. Both of them were presented with pure diabetes control due to unclear understanding CFRD with concomitant diet incompliance, irregular records, missed insulin injections, exercising limitations.We concluded that CFRD patients must be assessed by members of multidisciplinary team at CF centers, working by the principle of palliative care. There is necessary since the moment of CF diagnosing to involve endocrinologist and dietician due to of endocrine problems. Два клінічних випадки педіатричних пацієнтів розглянуто з метою вивчення проблем лікування з точки зору потенційної паліативної допомоги.Згідно з нашими спостереженнями, пацієнти з цукровим діабетом асоційованим з муковісцидозом, сприймаються як пацієнти з муковісцидозом без чіткої уваги до діабету. Patients with prostatic adenoma combined with chronic prostatitis were found to have abnormal content of proteins in peripheral blood erythrocytic membrane, erythrocytic sorption, concentration of ...nitric oxide stable metabolites, endotheline-1 and lipid peroxidation products in blood plasma before and after transurethral resection of the prostate. Different dosage forms of the drug longidase were tested for efficacy in correction of impairment of structural and functional properties of erythrocytes, endothelial dysfunction and lipid peroxidation in the above patients.
Patients with chronic prostatitis alone and in combination with prostatic adenoma have changes in the activity of the complement system, neutrophil function and content of pro- and anti-inflammatory ...cytokines. Abnormal representation of the proteins of the red cell membrane in patients with prostatic diseases affects structural and functional activity of erythrocytes in these patients. Dynamic changes in immune status of patients with chronic prostatitis and prostatic adenoma correlate with changes in functional red cell activity. This fact helps better understanding of pathogenesis of chronic prostatitis and prostatic adenoma.
