The research aims to analyze, design, and implement a prototype system for recognizing the current occupancy of the parking lot using visual input from an unmanned aircraft. The experimental solution ...should also be able to detect, identify and recognize the vehicle registration number and store it in a database. The character recognition process itself is done sepa-rately from the vehicle park occupancy analysis. The recognized license plates are stored in a database, which keeps a record of occupancy at a given time. The technique for defining the area of interest was deployed with a subsequent analysis of the object in the area. The overall success of the applied method exceeded 95 %, which indicates the reliability of the implemented method.
Automation is described as an operation of substituting manual tasks, such as device configuration in the field of computer networking, with programs that make configuration more efficient and reduce ...the percentage of unconsciously made mistakes. The concept of automation is closely related to programming, which creates a path to penetrate the process into this field. Purpose of this study is to create materials, which will fulfill the scarcity of related study content on the market. Suggested solutions and targets of our prior focus are the RESTCONF and NETCONF protocols in cooperation with the YANG models. Materials provide a full explanation of the individual protocols and models as well as their actual application demonstrated on real examples, which cover the curriculum of the entire CCNAv7 course. To summarize, the outcome of this work is primarily a Collection of practical problems, whose solution leads to a complete functioning unit, the Controller, which is the brain behind the working communication between network infrastructures and external applications (in this case Cisco Webex Teams). The result of this work has been evaluated on a Figure of more than 100 subjects, consisting of both national and international users. The initiated goal of effectiveness and guidance has been not only met but exceeded it, as proven in the evaluation part of the article. To conclude, created materials are valuable sources potentially used for studying and instruction process in both high school and university curriculum as well as a guidance for instructors and individuals employed in the computer networking field. The outputs of the work can also be used for automated management of QoS policies.
In this paper, the comparative analysis of dynamic routing protocols EIGRP and OSPF is presented. The objective of analysis was to determine which routing protocol is converging faster. For testing, ...three approaches were used, namely simulation using OPNET simulator, emulation using GNS3 emulator and testing using real devices. Network topology that was used for testing purpose provide three possible paths between source and destination device. Generating large amount of echo request messages and observing echo reply message before and after link failure provide time needed to achieve convergence in network. Comparing the results obtained using real devices and simulator / emulator showed some shortcomings of OPNET and GNS. From the test results, it can be said that the dynamic routing protocol EIGRP is converging faster. This protocol is therefore more suitable for implementation in production infrastructures.
This article describes the creation of a monitoring platform intended for automated measurement of network infrastructure parameters, configuration change and response to non-standard situations. The ...output of this work is a fully functional platform based on the open-source systems Zabbix and Grafana. Part of the practical outputs is documentation for working with the created platform, the aim of which is to enrich the educational process with the issue of monitoring network infrastructures. At the same time, advanced monitoring methods can be used to detect non-standard behavior and various types of attacks. The Grafana visualization system is chosen for the visualization of data obtained from monitored network devices.

Internet of Things is constantly growing, and along with it comes the risk caused by unsecured devices that it consists of. First option to increase security, is to use the intrusion detection system ...(IDS). Based on the analysis of communication in IoT (Internet of Things) networks, on intrusion detection methods and on protocols for collecting information about communication, we designed and implemented a system for flow-based intrusion detection. To distinguish as many attacks as possible and for universality reasons, we used machine learning for the prediction of attacks. We optimized the system for Raspberry Pi. Then we performed tests to determine the accuracy of the prediction. The results of mentioned tests were finally evaluated.
Late identification of water leaks can cause significant damage to buildings and infrastructure, leading to costly repairs and wasting resources. Traditional methods of detecting water leaks from ...pipes can be highly time-consuming and may not provide real-time information, which is key to identifying leaks early and taking appropriate action. This paper is about to address these issues by developing an ultrasonic water leak detection system with real-time transmission of measured values. The proposed system uses ultrasonic transducers strategically placed in the water supply network to detect water leaks by measuring changes in ultrasonic signals. The measured values are processed and transmitted in real-time using a microcontroller with a wireless communication module that allows remote monitoring of the system. In order to increase the accuracy and predictive capabilities of the water leak detection system, this paper also incorporates machine learning techniques. The predictive models are integrated into the system, allowing it to proactively anticipate and alert on potential leaks before they develop into larger problems.
The aim of this article is to implement the TinyIPFIX protocol for the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platform using the Python programming language. This protocol is derived from the IPFIX protocol and is ...used to enable efficient communication between devices within the Internet of Things environment. At the beginning, this article deals with the analysis of related communication protocols, the analysis of criteria for the TinyIPFIX protocol for its possible operation and the analysis of the TinyIPFIX message format, of which parts such a message consists. Subsequently, the architecture design procedure for the TinyIPFIX protocol is discussed. The main part is the experimental implementation of the TinyIPFIX protocol for Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms. At the end of this work, experimental testing is evaluated, according to which the benefits of the implemented TinyIPFIX protocol are clarified.

The research described in this paper focuses on a development of experimental solution, which estimates human height from a video sequence. The main requirements include portability, low hardware ...requirements, and accuracy. The paper includes analysis of the algorithms employed for image processing, human detection and methods for estimating height of human. The experimental software solution is implemented in Python programming language. The SSD algorithm was selected to detect the person in the image and the output was later on utilized to calculate the real human height. A calibration object in a form of ArUco marker and its known dimensions became the foundation for calculating the real human height. The experimental testing confirmed the accuracy of the developed solution to be sufficient for the real-world application. The most accurate height, with just a deviation of 0.001 meters, was estimated at a distance of 5 and 8 meters. The approach presented in this paper is also to be used as a complement by newly proposed unmanned aerial vehicle security system.
The aim of this work was to create an application that would allow users to create and check the configuration in real and emulated network devices. This would make it easier for users to work with ...different network topologies where they would otherwise have to manually check each configuration. Users have the option to check any number of devices at the same time using protocols Telnet or SSH. If they want to check only one device, they can paste the configuration into the application manually by copying it in text form. Users can create various sample configurations according to which the devices will be checked. In addition to commands assigned to individual devices, it can also check the connectivity between the user's and other device or between two different devices, save an evaluation report into user's device, send an evaluation to a server, or request a name from the user. Thanks to the added functionalities, the application has many uses in school environment for exercises or exams with limited number of devices per user to work with, in competitions or for independent work.
