This study aims to investigate the efficiency performance of energy companies, especially the environmental disclosure variable as the energy companies' responsibility to the environment, especially ...in achieving the SDGs. In addition, several other factors were also tested to determine their effect on the level of efficiency. The study was conducted on 42 energy companies in Indonesia for the period 2018 to 2021. Efficiency analysis uses Data Envelopment Analysis with input and output variables from each financial report. Meanwhile, STATA software was used to analyze the regression. The results show that the efficiency level of gas and oil companies is more optimal than other companies. However, coal companies are better at predicting the level of efficiency. This is in line with the huge energy potential in Indonesia that comes from coal. Another finding is that although environmental disclosure has not succeeded in increasing efficiency performance, it can moderate the relationship between size and efficiency level.
Land use/cover (LUC) is a substantial factor in land management and can influence policy in an area. LUC has the potential to change due to physical, economic, and social aspects. This study aims to ...analyze the spatialland use and cover changes (LUCC) in Deli Serdang Regency for the 2010 to 2020 period and predict LUC in 2030. The analysis was run by applying the Cellular Automata-Markov Chain method. The driving factors used in this modeling are the distance to the road, the distance to the river, population density, the distance to the district capital, and the distance to Medan city. The results showed that Kappa for image classification was 0.86. The dominant type of LUC in Deli Serdang Regency is a plantation, with a total area of more than 45%, followed by paddy fields, dryland agriculture, forests, and settlements/built-up areas. LUCC model validation obtained a kappa value of 0.89 (very good category) and can be applicated for predicting land use change models in 2030. By 2030, the settlements/built-up area and dryland agriculture will increase significantly, which 21,060 ha and 4,587 ha, respectively, while forests, plantations, and paddy fields will decrease significantly by around 9,266 ha, respectively, respectively 8,306 ha and 7,806 ha.

The issue of the environment continues to receive special attention from researchers. This is related to business operations' importance in paying attention to the profit aspect and environmental ...impacts to maintain the surrounding environment. Therefore, activities that affect carbon emissions must be reported annually. This is called carbon accounting. This study aims to map carbon accounting articles for 2012 to 2021 on the dimensions.ai database. Using the keyword 'carbon accounting', the collected data was 500 articles. The study results found that the journal most relevant to carbon accounting is ‘The Science of the Total Environment’. Meanwhile, the journals that have the most significant impact are ‘Global Change Biology’, ‘Scientific Reports’, and ‘The Science of the Total Environment’. Meanwhile, the most productive journal is ‘The Science of the Total Environment’, followed by ‘Environmental Science and Pollution Research’. The most relevant and prolific authors were Wang Y, followed by Zhang Y and Zhang X. In addition, Wang Y and Zhang X were the authors who had the greatest impact. The distribution of words in articles with the theme of carbon accounting is dominated by 'carbon' and 'accounting'. This research shows that the theme is undergoing good development. Research data shows that the word 'carbon' is rapidly from 2012 to 2021. This study predicts that articles on carbon accounting will continue to increase in the years to come, especially the themes of 'emissions' and 'study' which have high development although their relevance is quite low. The development of research on carbon accounting is closely related to environmental issues which are currently being studied by many researchers, especially to achieve sustainable development goals.
Energy potential and demand in Indonesia continues to grow, especially for coal power generation needs. Likewise, energy needs derived from gas and oil for industrial, household, and transportation ...needs, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, energy companies must have good performance to meet these needs. This study aims to determine the performance of energy companies, especially in gas & oil companies and coal companies, and the factors that influence them. The study was conducted in the last 3 years, namely 2018 to 2020 where there was a transition between before and during the pandemic. The study results found that there was a significant decrease between performance before the pandemic and during the pandemic. The decline was felt mainly by gas and oil companies. In addition, company size and liquidity are the most important factors to maintain the performance of energy companies. This is because the need for working capital to run an energy company is very large so that if it experiences a lack of funds, the company has the potential not to achieve the expected performance. In addition, of the two types of companies studied, coal companies significantly influence the performance of energy companies. This is in line with the huge energy demand from coal in Indonesia and the abundant coal reserves so that the opportunity to earn profits is greater than that of gas and oil companies.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between the types of energy companies, namely coal, gas and oil, and their performance levels. In addition, the influence of companies that have high ...sensitivity to the environment on company performance is also tested. Several important variables were also tested such as social activities, governance, as well as the type of energy company, namely coal, gas and oil. The research was conducted on energy companies and basic material industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2021. The method used is multiple regression analysis with a data sample of 154 observations. Four models are used in measuring financial performance, namely ROA, ROE, NPM, and new reduced variables. It was found that environmental activities do not affect performance, including in companies that have high sensitivity. Likewise, social activities and corporate governance proxied by female directors, intensity of board meetings, and board education have no significant effect. On the other hand, liquidity has a positive effect on ROA, DER has a negative effect on ROE and performance reduction results. A unique finding shows that only coal companies have a positive relationship with the performance of companies in the energy sector.
Komodo (Varanus komodoensis) with its wildlife is the only one in the world that lives in the Komodo National Park (KNP), East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The conservation efforts are carried out by ...considering the carrying capacity to remain in line with the principles of sustainable tourism management. This study aims to analyze the carrying capacity of the visits carrying capacity on Komodo Island and Padar Island. The method used in this research is system dynamics analysis. The number of Komodo dragons in 2045 is estimated to increase to 4000-4500 Komodo dragons in KNP or around 2500 Komodo dragons in Komodo Island and Padar Island since the number of preys is still quite available in their habitat. However, without the implementation of low carbon development, there will be pressure on its population, which can drop to 800-900 Komodo dragons both on Komodo Island and Padar Island. Meanwhile, the temperature increase occurs until the year 2045 which reaches 0.8°C. In terms of the ideal number of visits on Komodo Island based on the carrying capacity calculation of 219,000 visits/year, on Padar Island the ideal number of visits is 39,420 visits/year and it can be still increased up to 2-2.5 times
