The main outcome was to determine ...the impact of the knowledge representation systems in a virtual learning environment using ECAES examinations as strengthening resources and reviewing of the knowledge. The learning styles were taking into account to process the information related to the results from the questionnaire based on ECAES examinations which were designed and assessed by the ICFES (Instituto Colombiano para el Fomento de la Educación Superior).During this research was implemented a 2 x 4 factorial design of two variables; learning styles and knowledge representation systems. The participants were classified by applying The Kolb learning style inventory; according to learning styles they were classified in Assimilators, accommodators, Divergers and Convergers. The knowledge representation systems used during the research were concept maps, conceptual graphs, conceptual mentefactos and frames. The objective of the research was to determine if there are significant differences in the conceptual transfer between students according to their learning styles and their knowledge representation systems used in the study of basic medical skills.The study revealed that 53% of the students were divergers (Reflective observation). The knowledge representation systems that allow students got the best findings were frames and conceptual mentefactos , although the results were not significant. The converger students got the best findings in this type of test, which is in line with KOLB’s approaches.
Investigación llevada a cabo con estudiantes de medicina internistas en una institución de educación superior. Investigación
de tipo cualitativo, con un diseño factorial 2 x 4 de dos variables; los estilos de aprendizaje y los sistemas de representación del
conocimiento. Los participantes fueron clasificados mediante la aplicación de El inventario de estilos de aprendizaje de Kolb; de
acuerdo con los estilos de aprendizaje se clasificaron en Asimiladores, Acomodadores, Divergentes y Convergentes. Los sistemas
de representación del conocimiento utilizados durante la investigación fueron los mapas conceptuales, gráficos conceptuales,
mentefactos conceptuales y marcos. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar si existían diferencias significativas en la
transferencia conceptual entre los estudiantes de acuerdo a sus estilos de aprendizaje y sus sistemas de representación de conocimiento
utilizados en el aprendizaje de las habilidades médicas básicas utilizando exámenes ECAES como fuente de creación.
El estudio reveló que el 53% de los estudiantes eran Divergentes (observación reflexiva). Los sistemas de representación del
conocimiento que permiten a los estudiantes los mejores resultados fueron marcos y mentefactos conceptuales, aunque los
resultados no fueron significativos si existe una correlación.

The purpose of this investigation was to analyze how Facebook is used by young people to communicate among themselves and the experiences they gain from it. On the one hand, while teenagers claim to know the risks, they admit to accepting strangers as friends and to sharing large amounts of true data about their private lives. For this reason, it is necessary to understand the media and digital phenomenon that the youth are living through. Although they are legally prohibited from using Facebook until they are 13, the number of underage users of this social network is growing, without any restraint from parents or schools. This investigation compares the use of Facebook by youth in Colombia and Spain by using the content analysis and interview techniques. In Colombia 100 Facebook profiles were analyzed and 20 interviews carried out with students between 12- and 15-years-old attending the Institución Educativa Distrital Técnico Internacional school in Bogotá. In Spain, 100 Facebook profiles were analyzed and 20 interviews held with students of the same age group attending various secondary schools in Andalusia.
Las redes sociales se han convertido en ámbitos de interacción social entre los jóvenes, que crean un perfil para relacionarse con los demás. La exposición pública en el caso de los adolescentes puede generar problemas sobre aspectos sociales, emotivos y afectivos. Esta investigación analiza cómo se usa Facebook por parte de los jóvenes y qué experiencia obtienen de ello. Aunque dicen conocer los riesgos, admiten que aceptan a desconocidos como amigos y ofrecen datos reales sobre su vida. Ante esta situación, se hace más evidente la necesidad de la alfabetización mediática y digital de estos jóvenes que, aunque no deberían estar en Facebook hasta los 13 años, cuentan con un perfil de manera mayoritaria. Para ello se ha utilizado una metodología basada en el análisis de contenido y las entrevistas en profundidad. Se trata de un estudio comparativo entre Colombia y España. En Colombia se han realizado 100 análisis de perfiles y 20 entrevistas en profundidad. La muestra ha sido de adolescentes de 12 a 15 años, de la Institución Educativa Distrital Técnico Internacional de Bogotá. En España se han analizado 100 perfiles y se han realizado 20 entrevistas a chicos de 12 a 15 años, de Institutos (IES) de Andalucía.

Abstract
Objective
The aim of study was to evaluate
in vitro
the surface hardness, sorption, solubility, and color stability of three light-cured resin cements, namely RelyX Veneer (RLX), Variolink ...Veneer (VLK), and All Cem Veneer (ACV).
Materials and Methods
Cylindrical samples (15 × 1 mm) were made for each group using a metallic mold (
n
= 10). Vickers microhardness test was performed, and average hardness was calculated from three indentations (300 gf/15s) per sample. The sorption and solubility of the materials were evaluated according to ISO 4049:2009 based on three samples weighing: initial (
m
1
), after immersion in distilled water for 7 days (
m
2
), and final (after removal of all moisture
m
3
). The color change was observed using a digital spectrophotometer, at three different time points, baseline, 1 day, and 1 week of immersion in coffee and distilled water (control).
Statistical Analysis
Shapiro–Wilk test was used to analyze the normality of the data, and groups were compared using Kruskal–Wallis and Mann–Whitney tests. A significance level of 5% was used.
Results
RLX showed the highest microhardness mean values (36.96 VHN), but higher sorption (23.2 µg/mm
3
) and solubility (2.40 µg/mm
3
), with statistically significant differences with the other groups. For color stability, higher ∆E was observed for the samples immersed in coffee (
p
= 0.009). The VLK resin cement presented statistically significant differences from the other groups, with higher color changes in coffee at 1 day (15.14) and after 1 week (23.65).
Conclusion
RLX resin cement showed better hardness results. All materials tested performed satisfactorily for sorption and solubility according to ISO 4049:2009. All materials showed high-staining values after 1 week of immersion in coffee.

El presente artículo describe de manera sencilla una ...metodología para el análisis dinámico de vigas simplemente apoyadas con propiedades distribuidas, vigas muy frecuentes en la gran mayoría de puentes de nuestro país. La metodología se centra en la recolección de datos de aceleración mediante un acelerómetro, luego estas aceleraciones son procesadas mediante la transformación rápida de Fourier “FFT”, algoritmo que determina la máxima frecuencia o periodo de oscilación de la viga. Mediante la ecuación diferencial de movimiento forzado con amortiguamiento y la forma modal de vibración para una viga simplemente apoyada, programada en el lenguaje de bajo nivel, se obtiene el desplazamiento máximo en el centro de la viga. Este desplazamiento permite evaluar esfuerzos dinámicos que sumados con los esfuerzos estáticos se obtiene el esfuerzo máximo total, luego es comparado con el esfuerzo máximo admisible de la estructura.Todos estos cálculos y descripciones del puente, se almacenan en una base de datos programada en Oracle, bajo Windows XP.
Este artículo se ocupa del estudio de las soluciones de un sistema termoelástico lineal. Se demostró que el problema de valor inicial está bien ubicado en los espacios de Sobolev periódicos ...*Ecuación* , en el sentido que establecemos teoremas de existencia y unicidad globales para este sistema. Además, la solución tiene una expansión con coeficientes de Fourier que decaen exponencialmente.
