implementar la aplicación de un sistema de recomendación de
productos en sitios web de comercio electrónico que venden batik.
Purpose This research aims to investigate the influence of green human resource management (HRM), with analysis and description of job position, recruitment, selection, training, performance ...assessment and rewards on sustainability with the resource-based view (RBV) theory as underlying theory. The extent to which absorptive capacity strengthened the “green HRM-sustainability” link as a buffering mechanism was also examined. Design/methodology/approach The study model was tested with empirical data gathered from 253 Indonesian oil and gas firms. The elicited data were analysed using structural equation modelling using partial least squares (PLS). Findings Resultantly, the (i) analysis and description of job position and (ii) recruitment positively influenced sustainability. Absorptive capacity also influenced the strength of the moderated relationship between (i) recruitment and (ii) training and sustainability. Originality/value As far as we know, this is the first study which assigned the moderator role of absorptive capacity in a relationship between green HRM and sustainability in oil and gas firms in Indonesia. Notably, the theoretical and practical implications of applying the empirical outcomes to the oil and gas sector were extensively discussed.
Business needs to take advantage of Indonesian online gamers who are using online community to communicate and interact, when gamers share their reviews of game, for example, or when they post ...reviews of their purchases of virtual goods from online games. Using online community, gamers can do the trading with other members. The key is to share their experience with online games throughout the gamer’s journey.Players play an important role in the game market and have unique characteristics that respond differently to technology acceptance. In addition, a comprehensive review of the relevant literature on motivation for using Online Gamers Know-How Exchange shows that players are looking for recommendations from friends about the games they are interested in, through the social networking community and especially from their own communities. This paper analyzed the phenomenon of game-related industry involving motivation, opportunity, abilty and technology acceptance model in which organizations effectively raise the communication and know how above the gamers.Gamers from online community game taken as sample in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia.Result shown that the two PEOU and PU were positively related to Online Gamers Know-How Exchange.
A value chain plays a crucial role in increasing production efficiency due to business uncertainty and high competition between business entities. Of these, the business must carry out the activities ...effectively and efficiently to achieve maximum profit. However, the study that focuses on the moderating role of the value chain in its relationship to firm performance is still limited. Thus, the present study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital and environmental uncertainty toward firm performance and the mediating role of the value chain in the relationship between intellectual capital and environmental uncertainty to firm performance. This study was designed using a quantitative approach through an online survey. A total of 207 staff from non-financial state-owned enterprises consists of 10 clusters and 76 companies. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square method (SEM-PLS) and assisted by statistical software, namely SmartPLS 3.3.3. The result indicated that intellectual capital and environmental uncertainty have a significant effect on firm performance. Also, this study found that a value chain moderates the relationship of intellectual capital and environmental uncertainty toward firm performance. In conclusion, this study has successfully examined the effect of intellectual capital and environmental uncertainty on firm performance—also, the role of a value chain in the relationship of studied variables. In addition, the findings of this study showed that a value chain is an important tool for companies to improve their business performance.
The primary notion of sustainable development is to maintain a promising future for the planet and the next generation by raising the awareness of sustainable development of people around the world. ...This study seeks to foster and enhance more sustainable behaviour in households, workplaces, schools, and higher educational institutions; previous research has placed increasing attention on the identification of factors of pro-environmental behaviour. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the elements influencing the pro-environmental behaviour of employees in the workplace. A survey was performed from January to February 2020 on 150 public employees of an organisation in Terengganu. Out of 150 employees, only 84 participated and had their responses collected by using convenience sampling. Smart PLS-SEM was used in analysing the relationships between the variables. The result of this study found that green lifestyles have a significant positive effect on pro-environmental behaviour. However, the impacts of environmental commitment, environmental consciousness, green self-efficacy, and green human resource management were insignificant. This study provides data that were developed using a cross-sectional design; the assessment of causality among the constructs was a risky process. Furthermore, the study collected data from a single source, namely the employees, which would enhance the relationships through common method bias. The findings of this study also offered several managerial implications for green organisations.
The global demand for plastic foam materials is enormous (annual worth of ≈$341.3 billion) and still surging with an annual growth rate of 4.8%, driven by increasing modern societal needs. The ...majority of existing foam materials are made of plastics, which take hundreds of years to degrade, leading to severe global pollution issues. Here, a degradable, recyclable, and cost‐effective solution to foam materials based on 3D graphite‐cellulose nanofibers (G‐CNF) foam fabricated from resource‐abundant graphite and cellulose via advanced 3D printing is reported. The CNFs can directly disperse the graphite under physical sonication without the need for any chemical reactions. The interaction of the CNFs with graphite through the function of hydrophilic and hydrophobic faces in CNFs renders the dispersion polymer‐like rheological properties and good processability with tunable viscosity for 3D printing. A robust, degradable, and recyclable G‐CNF foam with designed shapes can be printed in a large scale, demonstrating higher mechanical strength (3.72 MPa versus 0.28 MPa in tensile strength and 2.34 MPa versus 1.11 MPa in compressive stiffness), better fire resistance, degradability, and recyclability than commercial polystyrene foam material. The demonstrated G‐CNF foam can potentially replace the commercial plastic foam materials, representing a sustainable solution toward white pollution.
A 3D graphite‐cellulose nanofibers hybrid aerogel is fabricated via 3D printing which demonstrates excellent mechanical strength with light weight, representing a new generation of cost‐effective, environmentally friendly, recyclable, and degradable foam material toward sustainable applications.
