Experiments on white rats revealed that introduction of Ossocol, a sponge with a composition of hydroxyl apatite with collagen, into a removed tooth well prevented mandibular atrophy and was ...conducive to a more smooth defect filling with better compact bone tissue. Ossocol use in 214 patients with bone tissue defects developing after tooth removal, of odontogenic cysts, sequestra, and after radical surgery for periodontal diseases demonstrated a positive effect of this agent on the course of the postoperative period: the defect was more rapidly replaced by bone tissue. No unfavorable local or general reactions to Ossocol implantation were observed.

The virus lost infectivity at 18 degrees C when irradiated with 2.6 X 10(6) r and at --70 degrees C with 4.55 X 10(6) r. However, the immunogenic potency of the vaccine inactivated at minus temperature without thawing was significantly higher.

Se han realizado simulaciones numéricas con el sistema US EPA Model-3 sobre todo el territorio de Bulgaria con una resolución horizontal de hasta 3 km en el periodo 2000-2007. Los input necesarios ...para activar el sistema US EPA Model-3 son, básicamente dos, datos meteorológicos del NCEP (NCEP Global Analysis Data) con 1 de resolución, y el inventario de emisiones del TNO. Aunque las emisiones biogénicas de los compuestos orgánicos volátiles (COV's) se estimaron mediante modelo SMOKE. Para poder introducir las emisiones al modelo US EPA Model-3 se realizó un procesado previo que permitía determinar sus perfiles temporales y las especificaciones para cada una de las emisiones. En las simulaciones realizadas se consideraron diferentes escenarios de emisiones de diferentes tipos de fuente.
