The research emphasis of the article is focused on the urgent problem of digitalization of education. Depending on the degree of development of states, the digitalization of education is uneven. In ...the context of the COVID 19 pandemic, digitalization has accelerated, consolidated and approved the distance learning system, while revealing a number of problems: insufficient technology, lack of appropriate software, unprofessional teaching staff, unwillingness of students to study using distance learning technologies, etc. The article highlights the main barriers to the development and promotion of digitalization of the Russian educational environment in the "new reality". The dependence of the digitalization of the Russian educational environment on internal and external factors determining the competitiveness of universities in providing their services in a digital format is determined. Analysis of the work of higher school teachers during the period of distance learning revealed some patterns. Teachers used traditional forms of work even when switching to a distance format; a significant part of communications with students was carried out through e-mail and popular training sites. Sometimes work with students was limited to issuing a mandatory task, which must be solved on the proposed portals. Some large higher educational institutions have their own specialized corporate portals through which work with students is carried out: lectures, webinars, tests and tests are held. Attention is focused on the gamification of educational activities as an effective teaching tool. A low degree of student involvement in the educational process, weak motivation and the inability to organize effective control of students' knowledge are stated. To enhance the effect of digitalization in education, the above barriers should be removed.
This article presents the results of a study of radiation-induced defects in various synthetic calcium phosphate (CP) powder materials (hydroxyapatite—HA and octacalcium phosphate—OCP) by electron ...paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy at the X, Q, and W-bands (9, 34, 95 GHz for the microwave frequencies, respectively). Currently, CP materials are widely used in orthopedics and dentistry owing to their high biocompatibility and physico-chemical similarity with human hard tissue. It is shown that in addition to the classical EPR techniques, other experimental approaches such as ELDOR-detected NMR (EDNMR), electron spin echo envelope modulation (ESEEM), and electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) can be used to analyze the electron–nuclear interactions of CP powders. We demonstrated that the value and angular dependence of the quadrupole interaction for 14N nuclei of a nitrate radical can be determined by the EDNMR method at room temperature. The ESEEM technique has allowed for a rapid analysis of the nuclear environment and estimation of the structural positions of radiation-induced centers in various crystal matrices. ENDOR spectra can provide information about the distribution of the nitrate radicals in the OCP structure.

The objective of the Baikal Project is the creation of a kilometer-scale high-energy neutrino observatory: the Gigaton Volume Detector (GVD) in Lake Baikal. Basic elements of the GVD – new optical ...modules, FADC readout units, and underwater communication systems – were investigated and tested in Lake Baikal with prototype strings in 2008–2010. We describe the results of prototype strings operation and review the preliminary design and expected sensitivity of the GVD telescope.
The TAIGA observatory addresses ground-based gamma-ray astronomy at energies from a few TeV to several PeV, cosmic ray physics from 100 TeV to several EeV as well as for search for axion-like ...particles, Lorentz violations and another evidence of New Physics. In 2020 year a one square kilometer TAIGA setup should be put in operation.
The status of the TAIGA experiment (Tunka Advanced Instrument for cosmic-ray physics and Gamma-ray Astronomy) located in the Tunka Valley is presented. The paper presents mainly the tasks, developed ...approaches for their solution, and first results on high-energy gamma-ray astronomy (10 TeV and higher) obtained from a two- to three-year exposure. The current tasks of gamma-ray astronomy and plans for development of the installation are discussed.
A modernized Linnik microprofilometer (MII-4) allowing the performing of tomographic investigation of transparent and relatively turbid media by the methods of low-coherence interferometry has been ...presented. The design of the reference channel of the standard MII-4 has been revised. A dynamic adjustment of the reference arm length has been added to compensate for the effect of divergence between focal and coherent volumes, as well as spherical aberration that occurs when the optical system is focused into the deep layers of the object without the use of immersion microlenses. The analysis of the existing technical solutions of the reference arm designs has been carried out and their main drawbacks have been indicated. All stages of assembly and alignment of the complex have been described, and the device operation during visualization of transparent and turbid layered objects has been demonstrated.
In November 2020, the IceCube Neutrino Observatory registered a neutrino event with an energy of 150 TeV directed at the Cygnus Cocoon gamma-ray source. In the Carpet-2 experiment, as part of the ...Baksan Neutrino Observatory (BNO), a sharp increase in the flow of events with an energy above 300 TeV was recorded from the same direction within the angular accuracy of the events. This flux is 4 orders of magnitude higher than the expected intensity of gamma quanta of this energy region according to data in the region of less than 100 TeV. It was expected that such a powerful flare could be registered by the TAIGA-HiSCORE installation of the TAIGA astrophysical complex. We analyzed the events of the EAS recorded by the installation of TAIGA-HiSCORE for 18 h in October–November 2020 from the Cygnus Cocoon source. This article provides the upper limit of the expected excess flow.
The policy of «pivot to the East» of Russia was determined by the influence of the growing importance of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region in the world economy, as well as the need to develop ...the Far East and the nature of relations with the West. In this policy, the development of traditional friendship with Vietnam is a favorable condition for Russia to increase its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. The purpose determination of Vietnam’s position in Russian foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region. The objectives traditional history of Russia-Vietnam friendship relations, assessment of the effectiveness of cooperation in the present and prospects for cooperation in the future. The study shows that based on existing traditional friendships and potential cooperation’s that need to be leveraged in the future, Vietnam is still considered an important link for Russia’s growing influence in the Asia-Pacific region.
The current status of the equipment development for the new wide-angle gamma-ray imaging air Cherenkov telescope for TAIGA hybrid installation is presented. A front-end electronic and data ...acquisition system board based on the Zynq family Xilinx FPGA chips specially designed for this project have been produced and are being tested. A detailed description if presented for internal structure of the four main subsystems: four 8-channel 100 MHz ADCs, board’s control system, internal clock and synchronization system and the power supply system. Additionally, the current status of a small scale prototype telescope SIT consisting of 49 SiPM is presented. The telescope includes a digital camera for observing the stars and weather condition. The SIT-HiSCORE synchronization systems and the telemetry information collection had been tested.
The TAIGA gamma observatory is continuing its deployment at the Tunka valley, close to lake Baikal. The new, original detectors, able to work under severe conditions of Siberia, were developed to ...increase the TAIGA sensitivity for the study of gamma-quanta at energies about 1 PeV and above. The distinguishing feature of the detectors is the use of the wavelength shifting light guides for scintillation light collection on a photodetector. Several designs of the counters have been tested: equipped with PMT or SiPM photo-detectors, acrylic or polystyrene based scintillators with thickness from 1 to 5 cm and detecting area from 0.75 to 1.0 m

. The data on the amplitude of the signal from cosmic muons measured in different points within the counter are presented. The first 48 counters were produced and deployed in 2019 at the TAIGA experiment. They form 3 stations each with 8 surface detectors and 8 underground detectors buried at the depth of 1.7 m. After two winters, all counters are working.
