The aim of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of blended learning strategy in increasing the students' learning independence at Labuhanbatu University in North Sumatra. The descriptive method ...with a quantitative approach was applied in the investigation. The research sample consisted of 92 respondents from Biology Education Study Program of Labuhanbatu University. A questionnaire in the form of statements and a Likert scale were used to collect data. Technique for data analysis was based on percentages. The results of this study revealed that applying blended learning increases, among other elements, learning independence: 1) independent of other 76.20%, 2) self-confidence 79.29%, 3) disciplined behavior 83.04%, 4) a sense of responsibility 79.89%, 5) individual initiative attitude 86.63%, 6) self-control 80.46%. Based on these results, blended learning is proven to be an effective learning model that can be applied to increase student learning independence.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning implementation plan (RPP) for the independent learning curriculum of college student teacher candidates at Labuhan Batu University, in the ...microteaching course. The components of making the RPP for the independent learning curriculum consist of 3 components, namely: (1) learning objectives, (2) learning steps, (3) assessment. The data obtained were taken from RPP documents made by student teacher candidates in the microteching course. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, the instrument used was a checklist sheet about the suitability of the RPP components of the independent learning curriculum. The results of the analysis obtained the component of learning objectives with a score of 55.50% based on effectiveness during the learning process. The steps obtained a score of 75.50%, based on the arrangement made from the beginning to the end of the lesson. The last component studied is the assessment, the data obtained is 47.70%.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) kurikulum merdeka belajar mahasiswa calon guru Universitas Labuhan Batu, pada mata kuliah microteaching. Adapun komponen dari pembuatan RPP kurikulum merdeka belajar terdiri dari 3 komponen yaitu: (1) tujuan pembelajaran, (2) langkah-langkah pembelajaran, (3) penilaian. Perolehan data diambil dari dokumen RPP yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa calon guru pada mata kuliah mikroteching.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, instrumenyang digunakan adalah lembar checklist tentang kesesuain komponen RPP kurikulum merdeka belajar. Hasil analisis diperoleh komponen tujuan pembelajaran dengan skor 55.50% berdasarkan keefektifan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Langkah-langkah diperoleh skor sebesar 75.50%, berdasarkan susunan yang dibuat dari awal hingga akhir pembelajaran. Komponen terakhir yang diteliti adalah penilaian, diperoleh data sebesar 47.70%.

This study aims to describe the learning interest of class XI students at SMAN 1 Panai Hulu in biology subject. Subjects in the study were students XI IPA1, XI IPA2 and XI IPA3, with a total of 105 people. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and interviews. The results of research that has been carried out with four indicators are obtained, namely the feeling of pleasure of students in participating in learning by 75.77%, student attention to learning by 70.78%, student interest in learning by 74.04%, student involvement in learning by 73.91 %. Based on these results, it can be concluded that students' interest in learning biology in class XI IPA1, XI IPA2 and XI IPA3 at SMAN 1 Panai Hulu is high. Even though students' learning interest is high, student activity is still influenced by the completeness of learning media.AbstrakMinat sangat menentukan hasil belajar siswa baik secara akademik maupun non akademik. Minat belajar siswa menurun dikarenakan faktor cara belajar yang kurang berkesan dan faktor media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat belajar siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Panai Hulu pada mata pelajaran biologi. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa XI IPA1, XI IPA2 dan XI IPA3, dengan total sebanyak 105 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan empat indikator didapatkan yaitu perasaan senang siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sebesar 75,77%, perhatian siswa terhadap pembelajaran sebesar 70,78%, ketertarikan siswa terhadap pembelajaran sebesar 74,04%, keterlibatan siswa terhadap pembelajaran sebesar 73,91%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan minat belajar siswa kelas XI IPA1, XI IPA2 dan XI IPA3 di SMAN 1 Panai Hulu terhadap pembelajaran biologi adalah sangat tinggi. Meskipun minat belajar peserta didik tinggi, keaktifan peserta didik masih dipengaruhi oleh kelengkapan media pembelajaran.
Virus concept biology subjects whose material is abstract in nature can generally reduce students' interest in learning. Students' interest in learning affects their learning outcomes both ...academically and non-academically. This study aims to analyze the learning interests of students at SMA Negeri 2 Bilah Hilir in the subject of virus concept biology. The samples in this study were students in class X MIA-1 and X MIA-2 with a total of 65 people. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire of students' learning interest, and interviews as supporting data. The results showed that the indicators of students' feelings of pleasure in participating in learning were as large as and the involvement of students in learning received the "most" category, while the indicators of students' attention to the lesson and students' interest in learning received the "almost all" category. Based on the results of questionnaires and interviews it was concluded that the media, methods, and supporting facilities in schools in an integrated manner affect students' learning interest.Abstrak Mata pelajaran biologi konsep virus yang materinya bersifat abstrak umumnya dapat menurunkan minat belajar peserta didik. Minat belajar peserta didik mempengaruhi hasil belajarnya baik secara akademik maupun non akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 2 Bilah Hilir pada mata pelajaran biologi konsep virus. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA-1 dan X MIA-2 dengan total sebanyak 65 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket minat belajar peserta didik, dan wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indikator perasaan senang peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sebesar dan keterlibatan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran memperoleh kategori “sebagian besar”, sedangkan indikator perhatian peserta didik terhadap pelajaran dan ketertarikan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran memperoleh kategori “hampir seluruhnya”. Berdasarkan hasil angket dan wawancara disimpulkan bahwa media, metode, dan sarana pendukung di sekolah secara terintegrasi mempengaruhi minat belajar peserta didik.
Education is a learning process in increasing the knowledge and insights possessed by these students. The population used is the sixth semester of Biology Education Students, the total sample is 35 people, the data collection technique is done by giving questionnaires, the questionnaires are given to students directly and through google form. The results of the study obtained from 5 indicators (1) The use of learning media applications through the use of technology obtained a percentage of 60.29%, (2) Increased motivation obtained a percentage of 59.78%, (3) Effectiveness obtained a percentage of 61.30%, (4) Learning Media obtained the percentage of 56.36%, (5) Interest in Using Technology obtained a percentage of 57.96%, With the existence of learning media through the use of technology, it can support the implementation of learning for students and can get better knowledge insights.AbstrakPendidikan merupakan suatu proses pembelajaran didalam menambah pengetahuan wawasan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa tersebut. dengan adanya Teknologi bagi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dapat bermanfaat untuk proses pembelajaran dan sebagai media pembelajaran Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dang mengetahui penggunaan media pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi bagi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi memiliki peran penting didalam menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Jenis Penelitian ini kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah Mahasiswa/i Pendidikan Biologi Semester enam,Total sempel berjumlah 35 orang, Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian angket, Angket tersebut diberikan kepada Mahasiswa/i yang secara langsung dan melalui google form. Hasil Penelitian yang diperoleh dari 5 indikator (1) Penggunaan Aplikasi media pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi memperoleh persentase sebesar 60.29%, (2) Peningkatan Motivasi memperoleh persentase sebesar 59.78%, (3) Keefektifan memperoleh persentase sebesar 61.30%, (4) Media Pembelajaran memperoleh persentase sebesar 56.36%, (5) Minat Penggunaan Teknologi memperoleh persentase sebesar 57.96%, Dengan adanya media pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi bisa menunjang didalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa dan bisa mendapatkan wawasan pengetahuan yang lebih baik.

This study aims to be able to see and know the difficulties faced by biology education students in microteaching lessons at Labuhanbatu University. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The sample in this study was made up of all fifth-semester biology education students. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research that has been carried out regarding the analysis of the difficulties of biology education students in microteaching learning at Labuhanbatu University are: use of learning methods (42.61%), mastery of material (42.15%), skills in teaching (52.67%), skills in opening learning (54.36%), readiness in learning (54.70%), skills to ask (46.79%), skills to close learning (50.81%), and skills to explain (40.81%). Microteaching is very important for students in preparing themselves as prospective teachers and adding insight and knowledge.Abstrak Pendidikan merupakan suatu bidang yang sangat penting bagi masa depan untuk mengembangkan keahlian dan kemampuan serta membentuk generasi yang lebih baik dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat melihat serta mengetahui kesulitan yang dihadapi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam pembelajaran microteaching di Universitas Labuhanbatu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan biologi semester lima, tehnik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengenai analisis kesulitan mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam pembelajaran microteaching di Universitas Labuhanbatu yaitu: penggunaan metode pembelajaran (42.61%), penguasaan materi (42.15%), keterampilan dalam mengajar (52.67%), keterampilan dalam membuka pembelajaran (54.36%), kesiapan dalam pembelajaran (54.70%), keterampilan bertanya (47.69%), keterampilan menutup pembelajaran (50.81%), dan keterampilan menjelaskan (40.81%). Pembelajaran microteaching sangat penting bagi mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan diri sebagai calon guru dan menambah wawasan dan pengentahuan.
The aim of this study is to analyze the many aspects of learning challenges that elementary school students encounter when learning science. The method of research was descriptive with a qualitative ...focus. All the students in classes IV, V, and VI were employed as research subjects. The researcher served as the instrument in this study, supplemented by interview, observation, and documentation criteria, while data analysis was accomplished through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. As a result of the research, the largest degree of difficulty encountered by the students was with school facilities and infrastructure, at 96.73%, while the second highest level was with the learning media used by the teachers, at 82.45%. The next highest level was the indication of student interest in science lessons, which had a percentage value of 75%. This was because some students still did not comprehend how science was taught, as indicated by the lowest score of 73.90%. The existence of the challenges in science learning had a significant impact on student interest in learning and understanding level, resulting in a less effective teaching and learning process in the classroom. The solution to the above problems is for the teacher to obtain a better understanding of the students' needs while they are studying, for the teacher to employ a variety of learning media that entice students to learn, and for the principal to provide comprehensive facilities that support positive learning outcomes.
The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the obstacles that biology education students at Labuhanbatu University face when implementing online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This ...study employs a descriptive method in conjunction with a qualitative approach. The approach taken is one of survey. This study collected data using data trigulation techniques. The respondents were 92 students enrolled in the Labuhanbatu University biology education study program throughout the academic years 2018/2019; 2019/2020; and 2020/2021. The online learning process is implemented in the following indocators: readiness and implementation in online learning is 87.21%, (physical, psychological) health in online learning is 76.59%, the obstacles faced by the students during online learning process is 72.06%, internet access facilities (quotas) and learning tools in online learning is 79.89%, lecturer services and delivery of materials in online learning is 77.60%, motivation and comprehension of course material development in online learning is 68.76%. Learning motivation and understanding obstacles encountered by biology education students throughout the implementation process might render online learning ineffective, resulting in this research is planned to serve as a benchmark for future improvements in the process of integrating online learning.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hambatan apa saja yang dihadapi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Labuhanbatu dalam pelaksaanaan proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik trigulasi data,Responden adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi Universitas Labuhanbatu angkatan tahun akademik 2018/2019: 2019/2020;2020/2021,dengan jumlah total sebanyak 92 orang.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa hambatan mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran daring diantaranya yaitu :Kesiapan dan pelaksanaan dalam pembelajara daring 87,21%, Kesehatan (fisik,psikis) dalam pembelajaran daring 76,59%, Hambatan yang dialami mahasiswa selama proses pembelajaran daring 72,06%, Fasilitas akses internet (kuota) dan perangkat pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran daring 79,89%, Pelayanan dosen dan penyampaian materi dalam pembelajaran daring 77,60%, Motivasi pembelajaran dan memahami materi perkuliahan dalam pembelajaran daring 68,76%, Hamabatan yang dialami oleh para mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran daring akan membuat pembelajaran daring menjadi tidak maksimal, sehingga penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi evaluasi sebagai acuan perbaikan didalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring menjadi baik kedepannya.
Kurikulum merdeka merupakan kurikulum pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang beraam dengan mendalami konsep daan menguatkan kompetensi. Implementasi modul ajar kurikulum merdeka belum berjalan dengan baik ...dikarenaklan masih terdapat kendala seperti sarana dan prasarana yan belum lengkap dan pemahaman yang masih kurang. Dengan ini penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kesesuian dan kelengkapan komponen modul ajar yang disusun oleh guru biologi di SMA Swasta Purnayuda di Kecamatan Panai Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik dokumentasi dan observasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga pendidik/guru biologi. Dalam teknik analisis data terdiri dari tahap (1) Pengumpulan dokumen modul ajar (2) Menganalisis isi modul ajar (3) Menentukan hasil. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dalam pemnyusunan modul ajar biologi di SMA Swasta Purnayuda menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian dan kelengkapan yang bervariasi untuk setiap komponen yang dinilai. Terdapat komponen yang sesuai namun tidak lengkap, serta komponen yang tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Hasil interpretasi diperoleh nilai mean sebesar 85,7% dengan kategori Sesuai.Meskipun hasil analisis termasuk dalam kategori “sesuai” dengan tingkat persentase 85,7%. Peneliti masih menemukan ketidaksesuaian dan ketidaklengkapan pada komponen modul ajar pembelajaran Biologi kelas X buatan guru di SMA Swasta Purnayuda Panai Tengah. Dalampembuatan modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka, guru di SMA Swasta Purnayuda Panai Tengah, khususnya guru mapel biologi masih harus meningkatkan pengetahuannya dengan membaca atau mengikuti sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang kurikulum merdeka.
