Various kinds of structure designs have been proposed to achieve the multiple-band metamaterial absorbers. However, the discrete distance of adjacent frequencies of multiple absorbers is considerably ...large, which will inevitably overlook a large amount of information hidden in the off-resonance absorption areas. Herein, a narrow discrete distance of dual-band terahertz absorber based on two pairs of an Au strip/dielectric layer backed by Au film is designed. Two nearly 100% absorptivities of resonance peaks having the discrete distance of only 0.30 THz are realized. The relative discrete distance of the device is 13.33%, and this value can be adjusted via the length change of an Au strip. Furthermore, we present two narrow discrete distances of a triple-band absorber through stacking one more pair of an Au strip and dielectric layer. Results prove that two discrete distances of only 0.14 THz and 0.17 THz in adjacent absorption modes of the first two and the last two are achieved, respectively; the relative discrete distances of them are respectively 6.57% and 7.22%, which are far from previous reports. Narrow discrete distances (or low values of relative discrete distance) of the multiple-band absorbers have a large number of applications in the investigation of some hidden information in very near frequencies.
This paper considers the interactive effects between the ego vehicle and other vehicles in a dynamic driving environment and proposes an autonomous vehicle lane-changing behavior decision-making and ...trajectory planning method based on graph convolutional networks (GCNs) and multi-segment polynomial curve optimization. Firstly, hierarchical modeling is applied to the dynamic driving environment, aggregating the dynamic interaction information of driving scenes in the form of graph-structured data. Graph convolutional neural networks are employed to process interaction information and generate ego vehicle's driving behavior decision commands. Subsequently, collision-free drivable areas are constructed based on the dynamic driving scene information. An optimization-based multi-segment polynomial curve trajectory planning method is employed to solve the optimization model, obtaining collision-free motion trajectories satisfying dynamic constraints and efficiently completing the lane-changing behavior of the vehicle. Finally, simulation and on-road vehicle experiments are conducted for the proposed method. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms traditional decision-making and planning methods, exhibiting good robustness, real-time performance, and strong scenario generalization capabilities.
miR390s is an ancient family with a high level of conservation among plant miRNAs. Through the auxin signal transduction pathway, miR390 participates in diverse biological processes of plant growth ...and development. As an important Chinese traditional orchid, Cymbidium goeringii has unique flower shape and elegant fragrance. But its development has been greatly restricted because of the low flower bud differentiation and the difficult reproduction. This study aims to provide guidance for the role of cgo-miR390 in reproductive organ development to enhance the ornamental and economic value of Cymbidium.
MIR390a, MIR390b and MIR390c of C. goeringii were cloned, and their length ranged from 130 to 150 nt. Each precursor sequence of cgo-miR390 contains 2 to 3 mature miRNAs. Three kinds of cgo-miR390s displayed distinct temporal and spatial expression patterns during floral development in C. goeringii. The overexpression of MIR390s alters morphology and function of stamens and pistils in Arabidopsis, such as enlargement of anther aspect ratio and separation of stylar and stigmas, which affects the development of fruits and seeds. In particular, the pollen amount decreased and the seed abortion rate increased in cgo-MIR390c-overexpressed plants.
cgo-miR390 family affected the development of reproductive organs in transgenic Arabidopsis. The study provides references for the genetic improvement for orchid with potentially great economic benefit.

•Penta-band terahertz light absorber is demonstrated.•Three metallic resonators composed of two parallel bars and a square patch are utilized.•Near field patterns of the penta-band absorber are ...given.•The influence of the resonator geometric parameters is discussed.
It is quite urgent to obtain multiple-band light absorbers because they are of great important in many technology related fields. However, the realization of them is typically based on a plurality of resonators which are at least equal to the number of absorption peaks. Here an alternative structure design to reduce the number of the resonators for multiple-band light absorption at terahertz regime is demonstrated. The obtained results exhibit that penta-band terahertz light absorber with large absorption intensity and discrete frequency point is realized using five localized resonance responses in only three resonators (composed of two parallel arranged bars and a square patch). Near field patterns of the penta-band terahertz light absorber are given to clarify the absorption mechanism of each frequency point. We further explore and analyze the influence of the geometric parameters of the structure design on the performance of the penta-band light absorption.

In recent years, with the rapid development of network applications and the increasing demand for high-quality network service, quality-of-service (QoS) routing has emerged as a critical network ...technology. The application of machine learning techniques, particularly reinforcement learning and graph neural network, has garnered significant attention in addressing this problem. However, existing reinforcement learning methods lack research on the causal impact of agent actions on the interactive environment, and graph neural network fail to effectively represent link features, which are pivotal for routing optimization. Therefore, this study quantifies the causal influence between the intelligent agent and the interactive environment based on causal inference techniques, aiming to guide the intelligent agent in improving the efficiency of exploring the action space. Simultaneously, graph neural network is employed to embed node and link features, and a reward function is designed that comprehensively considers network performance metrics and causality relevance. A centralized reinforcement learning method is proposed to effectively achieve QoS-aware routing in Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Finally, experiments are conducted in a network simulation environment, and metrics such as packet loss, delay, and throughput all outperform the baseline.
The epiphytic and endophytic bacteria play an important role in the healthy growth of plants. Both plant species and growth environmental influence the bacterial population diversity, yet it is ...inconclusive whether it is the former or the latter that has a greater impact. To explore the communities of the epiphytic and endophytic microbes in Camellia oleifera, this study assessed three representative C. oleifera cultivars from three areas in Hunan, China by Illumina high-throughput sequencing. The results showed that the diversity and species richness of endophytic microbial community in leaves were significantly higher than those of microbial community in the epiphytic. The diversity and species richness of epiphytic and endophytic microbes are complex when the same cultivar was grown in different areas. The C. oleifera cultivars grown in Youxian had the highest diversity of epiphytic microbial community, but the lowest abundance, while the cultivars grown in Changsha had the highest diversity and species richness of endophytic microbes in leaves. It was concluded that the dominant phylum mainly included Proteobacteria, Actinobacteriota and Firmicutes through the analysis of the epiphytic and endophytic microbial communities of C. oleifera. The species and relative abundances of epiphytic and endophytic microbial community were extremely different at the genus level. The analysis of NMDS map and PERMANOVA shows that the species richness and diversity of microbial communities in epiphytes are greatly influenced by region. However, the community structure of endophytic microorganisms in leaves is influenced by region and cultivated varieties, but the influence of cultivars is more significant. Molecular ecological network analysis showed that the symbiotic interaction of epiphytic microbial community was more complex.
An approach to realize a multiple-band perfect light absorber is demonstrated using a simple metamaterial design featuring a composite metallic structure consisting of a closed ring and a rectangular ...patch atop a metallic substrate separated by an insulator. Three narrow-band and discrete resonance peaks with nearly 100% absorption rates are obtained. The first absorption peak is due to the dipole resonance of the closed ring, while the last two absorption peaks are caused by the coupling effect of the closed ring and rectangular patch. The field distribution of the three absorption peaks is given to provide additional evidence. Unlike traditional multiple-band light absorbers that eliminate (or avoid) the interaction between the metallic array structures, our design is based on the mode coupling of the composite structure. This method can obviously reduce the number of metallic resonators, simplify the structure design and reduce fabrication costs.

Multiple-band metamaterial absorbers as an important branch of metamaterial-based resonant devices have shown considerable application prospects in real life. However, current designs have many ...shortcomings in the realization of multiple-band absorption, including complex pattern structure, time-consuming fabrication steps, and strong interaction between sub-elements. Herein, a simple design of multiple-band metamaterial absorber based on single metallic resonator is presented. Basic cell of the multiple-band absorption is formed by a square metallic patch (cut by a concentric air gap) placed on a metallic mirror separated by an insulating medium material. The metamaterial structure can interact strongly with the incident beam to produce the fundamental mode resonance, third-order resonance, and two other resonances resulted from the concentric air gap introduction. The combining effect of the four discrete resonance modes provides the ability to achieve quad-band absorption. The quad-band absorption shows great dependence on the structure dimensions. Based on this, we further design a kind of multiple-band absorption having the adjustable number of absorption peaks by introducing photosensitive silicon material in the initial area of the air gap. The number of resonance peaks can be tuned flexibly from quad-band absorption to dual-band absorption by changing the conductivity (i.e., material property) of photosensitive silicon material.
