Indonesia, as a country with great potential, should become an active Global Software Development (GSD) player. This study aims to identify and rank software engineers' competencies when working in a ...GSD environment. Having gathered competencies with a literature study, we then compiled the hierarchy of competencies, questionnaires and data processing using the Analytic Hierarchy Process. We involved Indonesia's experts in giving a portrait of the potential for global software engineers in Indonesia. From the research results, we obtained 40 competencies along with their ranking and clustering. We conclude that software engineers must master both hard and soft competencies by paying attention to the ranking and clustering generated in this study. This research is useful for practitioners, the Indonesian government and other countries to prioritise software engineer competencies. Further, it is useful for developed countries, as GSD clients, to see a portrait of software engineers' competence in Indonesia.
Global Software Development (GSD) and Scrum are two pivotal tools in software engineering, which meet the needs of global economics in dealing with various disruptions, such as physical distancing ...due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research focuses on Scrum with its three roles: Product Owner, Scrum Master and Development Team. They require a distinct set of competencies, including Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude (KSA). Therefore, this study aims to develop a list of Scrum team competence based on KSA in GSD. The authors conducted a comprehensive literature review to create the list. Then, it was followed by in-depth interviews with nine experts involving practitioners and academics having experience in Scrum, GSD, and educational psychology for validation. This study proposes a compilation of KSA-based competencies for all roles of the Scrum team. Each competency has been grouped and given a level based on Bloom's taxonomy. The research findings can be the basis for successful competency development for the Scrum team.
The Product Owner and Scrum Master are members of the Scrum Team, which play an essential role in Global Software Development. They must have some competencies that can overcome challenges in the ...global environment. This study aims to develop the competencies of these two roles and explore issues of global competencies. Researchers conducted a literature study to produce a list of competencies and in-depth interviews to explore the issues. Data processing uses content analysis and descriptive statistics. The author compiled questionnaires and generated three issues, then held a Focus Group Discussion for validation. Without reducing the nature of scrum, the consensus of experts had approved 31 competencies for the product owner while 34 for the scrum master. This research enriches scrum.org and has a global impact on improving Scrum and Global Software Development human capital and IT professionals.
Rig RAISIS adalah salah satu pengeboran milik P.T Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) yang disewa oleh P.T TOTAL untuk memperpanjang kontraknya selama beberapa tahun. Rig RAISIS ini adalah bangunan ...offshore yang sudah lama berdiri namun perlu direnovasi. Untuk merenovasi diperlukan konsultan bangunan maritim yang salah satunya ditangani oleh P.T Terafulk Megantara Design. Dalam hal ini mereka masih menggunakan perhitungan secara manual. Maka untuk merencanakan penerangan dengan mudah dibuatlah program perhitungan lampu menggunakan program Visual Basic. Program ini dirancang menggunakan beberapa menu perhitungan berdasarkan dua formula, yaitu formula yang sudah lama diterapkan di PT Terafulk Megantara Design dan formula secara teoritis. Langkah menggunakan program ini adalah dengan memasukkan dimensi ruangan, iluminasi, dan luminasi maka akan muncul hasil luas ruangan dan jumlah lampu berdasarkan tipe lampu yang sudah dipilih. Program ini bisa digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah lampu berdasarkan 2 class yaitu ABS dan BKI. Berdasarkan 2 class yang sudah dihitung maka class ABS mempunyai jumlah lampu lebih banyak dibandingkan ruangan yang menggunakan class BKI. Program ini juga lebih cepat digunakan oleh perancang dengan waktu 45 menit dibandingkan menggunakan perhitungan manual yang memakan waktu 1,5 jam saat menghitung Deck Level 31.
Analisa karakteristik baling-baling dibantu komputasi saat ini berkembang cukup pesat sehingga dapat diterapkan untuk menyingkap pengaruh viskositas terhadap efisiensi baling-baling. Penerapan ...Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) dengan persamaan Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes dengan aliran fluida takmampat turbulen di sekitar daun baling-baling yang bekerja bebas di air terbuka dapat diselidiki karakteristiknya. Dengan simulasi numerik dalam penelitian ini diharapkan karakteristik baling-baling berbasis propeller B series dan efisiensinya didapatkan. Dengan bantuan perangkat lunak yang disimulasikan dihasilkan beberapa parameter nilai simulasi seperti gaya dorong (N), torsi (Nm), Kt, 10Kq, J dan η baling-baling. Hasil simulasi ini kemudian divalidasi dengan diagram karakteristik baling-baling wageningen B.4.55 yang telah dipublikasi, Hasil simulasi yang telah dilakukan didapatkan nilai hasil simulasi menunjukkan besarnya nilai Kt , 10Kq , dan η pada J 0.7 memiliki nilai 0.179, 0.305 dan 0.654.

Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Geografis berbasis web untuk aplikasi perjalanan wisata saat ini masih sangat terbatas. Terutama di Indonesia dan khususnya untuk Surabaya. Kebanyakan aplikasi tersebut ...sebatas menampilkan peta statis, sehingga user tidak bisa berkomunikasi secara interaktif.
Dalam jurnal ini dibuat aplikasi perjalanan wisata berbasis web yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu bagi para wisatawan untuk dapat melakukan perjalanan secara efektif dan mudah. Aplikasi ini menggunakan script Avenue untuk mengintegrasikan ArcView GIS sebagai map server dan ArcView IMS sebagai internet map servernya. Untuk pengolahan hasilnya digunakan Network Analyst yang dikombinasikan dengan algoritma pencarian rute Bubble Sort.
Aplikasi ini menghasilkan sistem penjadwalan terbaik pada lama perjalanan dan waktu tutup obyek wisata, juga pemberian saran tentang jadwal keberangkatan dan lama wisata yang sebaiknya dilakukan. Wisatawan akan memperoleh rute beserta petunjuk jalannya. Di samping itu juga informasi tentang fasilitas-fasilitas terdekat dari obyek wisata sewaktu dilakukan pemberhentian dan informasi umum bidang pariwisata.

Waste is a complex and severe problem with detrimental environmental impacts if not appropriately managed. The process of buying and selling waste is essential in waste management. With its smart ...contracts, blockchain allows transactions to be carried out automatically without involving third parties, thereby speeding up the process and increasing efficiency and security. This research applies blockchain to record waste buying and selling transactions. We selected Binance Smart Chain (BSC) as a blockchain platform and Solidity 0.8.0 to build smart contracts containing structures, events, and functions that manage transactions. Autotask connected to the relayer records transactions on the blockchain network without requiring direct intervention from the user. We set up credentials from apiKey and apiSecret to connect to OpenZeppelin Defender, then enter the contract address deployed to the BSC network. After that, we create a variable to accommodate the deployed smart contract's Application Binary Interface (ABI). System testing uses the black box and System Usability Scale (SUS). Of the ten test scenarios in the black box, everything ran smoothly. System testing using SUS resulted in a score of 76 and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) value of 70%. This score indicates that the system is deemed acceptable and included in the good category. This system can guarantee transparency in the waste buying and selling system, hoping to increase accountability and trust in the community.
