Powdered zeolites have been reported as effective CO

capture materials. However, pellet form is needed for industrial application. In this study, shaped zeolite X (ZX) and Fe
3+
ion-exchanged ...zeolite X (ZXFe) with geopolymer as binder were produced in forms of cylinder pellets (Ø = 5 mm, h = 5 mm) at low temperature. The geopolymer was obtained through the geopolymerization of metakaolin using NaOH as an alkaline activating agent. The material formed by this way remained the zeolite X structure that was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. Additionally, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results of the two different kind geopolymer - zeolite pellets were considered for observation and comparison. BET analysis was also conducted to determine the specific surface area of the GZX3 samples and GZXFeL3 samples. This kind of analysis also provided the information about the adsorption - desorption curves and pore size distributions of the two pellet samples. The difference of the temperature in the pretreatment process affected the degas ability of the pellet and the series of experiments were carried out to make clear comparison. The highest CO
2
adsorption capacities of pellets were found in the GZX3 (containing the zeolite X) and GZXFeL3 (containing the ZXFe). Despite the rapid decrease in the surface areas from 409 to 261 m
2
/g for GZX3 and GZXFeL3 respectively, GZXFeL3 showed higher CO
2
capacities than the other (1.03 compared to 0.96 mmol/g). In the regeneration study, after several cycles of adsorption - desorption of GZXFeL3 pellets, the adsorption capacity of CO
2
decreased about 10%. These adsorption and desorption experiments implied that the pellets formed by ZXFe could be a promising adsorbent for the CO

capture.
Physical activity is important for health, but little is known about associations between physical activity during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The aim of this study was to investigate any ...association between antenatal physical activity and breastfeeding duration. A prospective cohort of 2030 Vietnamese women, recruited between 24 and 28 week-gestation was followed up to twelve months postpartum. Physical activity was determined using the pregnancy physical activity questionnaire at baseline interview. Data was available for 1715 participants at 12 months, a 15.5% attrition rate. At 12 months 71.8% of mothers were still breastfeeding. A total of 20.9% women met physical activity targets and those mothers undertaking higher levels of physical activity had a lower risk of breastfeeding cessation by twelve months hazard ratios HR = 0.59 (95% CI 0.47-0.74),
< 0.001, and HR = 0.74 (0.60-0.92),
= 0.006; respectively when compared to the lowest tertile. Similarly, women with increased levels of physical activity have higher rates of breastfeeding at twelve months, compared to the lowest level odds ratio OR = 1.71 (95% CI 1.29-2.25) and 1.38 (1.06-1.79). Higher levels of physical activity by pregnant women are associated with improved breastfeeding outcomes.
Abstract
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a major global issue and antimicrobial stewardship is central to tackling its emergence. The burden of AMR disproportionately impacts low- and middle-income ...countries (LMICs), where capacity for surveillance and management of resistant pathogens is least developed. Poorly regulated antibiotic consumption in the community is a major driver of AMR, especially in LMICs, yet community-based interventions are neglected in stewardship research, which is often undertaken in high-income settings and/or in hospitals. We reviewed the evidence available to researchers and policymakers testing or implementing community-based antimicrobial stewardship strategies in LMICs. We critically appraise that evidence, deliver recommendations and identify outstanding areas of research need. We find that multifaceted, education-focused interventions are likely most effective in our setting. We also confirm that the quality and quantity of community-based stewardship intervention research is limited, with research on microbiological, clinical and economic sustainability most urgently needed.
In this research, carbon nanodots decorated TiO

) were prepared by the microwave method and used as the catalyst for the photo-oxidation of several volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ...including formaldehyde, acetone, and toluene, in a continuous flow under UV-A radiation. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), scanning electronic microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). The results confirm the vital role of carbon nanodots in the improvement of photocatalytic activity of TiO

The cao vit gibbon Nomascus nasutus, also known as eastern black crested gibbon, is categorized as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List and was considered one of the world's 25 most threatened ...primates. The only known population occurs along the border between China and Viet Nam. Accurate information on population size and dynamics is critical for the species’ conservation, but population surveys conducted in only one country may over- or underestimate total population size because the home ranges of cao vit gibbon groups often cross the international border. In 2007 and 2016 we conducted two collaborative transboundary censuses of the cao vit gibbon populations in the Trung Khanh Cao Vit Gibbon Species and Habitat Conservation Area in Viet Nam and the Bangliang Gibbon National Nature Reserve in China. The results showed a population size of 102–110 in 2007, which increased to 107–136 in 2016. Our results indicate that previous surveys conducted separately in Viet Nam and China underestimated the global population size of this species. According to our more comprehensive surveys, the gibbon population is increasing slowly. The gibbons and their habitat are legally protected in both countries. Hunting and charcoal making have not been reported in this area since 2007. As habitat carrying capacity is a limiting factor, habitat restoration is required. However, lack of funding to protect the cao vit gibbon remains a challenge.
This study explores the significance of two determinants: Supply Chain Capabilities and Supply Chain Visibility, in the intricate interplay among Supply Chain Resilience, Supply Chain Performance, ...and Firm Performance. A dataset comprising 221 participants from Vietnamese garment manufacturing firms was gathered and subjected to analysis using the PLS-SEM approach, revealing insights into the modeled complex relationships. The research findings reveal that visibility significantly influences supply chain resilience; while the hypotheses of a positive impact of supply chain visibility and supply chain resilience on firm performance have been rejected. Interestingly, these findings underscore the significant influence of indirect relationships mediated by factors, such as supply chain resilience and supply chain performance. Hence, this study bridges a gap in the existing body of literature and offers practical implications for supply chain management, particularly concerning performance measurement challenges in this sector. The article suggests that the Vietnamese garment supply chain could enhance supply chain and firm performance by focusing on supply chain capabilities and visibility.
Nowadays, the action prediction technique plays an important role in many automatic systems. There are some proposed methods for this issue. However, they retain limitations such as accuracy and ...computational time, especially for applying in limited resource systems. This paper presents an approach to enhance the efficiency of the activity prediction task. The work processes on multiple classifiers using spatiotemporal features based on scalable feature descriptors, such as histogram of oriented gradients (HOG), histogram of oriented optical flow (HOF), and motion boundary histogram (MBH). In order to improve prediction accuracy, two layers of classified machine models are studied for applying on spatiotemporal features with the dynamic foreground extraction process. The first layer based on unsupervised classification is proposed to construct a dictionary of features, which supports for distinguishing and uniform the number of features. The next task is that supervised machine learning supports for final decision of action classes. The proposed approach was evaluated on several benchmark datasets, which are available online. The results demonstrate that the approach enhances accuracy and efficiency of the prediction system.
ZnO is known as a wide-bandgap transparent thermoelectric material. Herein, the electronic transport and temperature-dependent thermoelectric properties of transparent Sb-doped ZnO (SZO) films are ...reported. The sputtered SZO films prepared at the optimum deposition temperature of 673 K show an n-type semiconducting behavior with the highest thermoelectric power factor of 406 μW/mK2 at 773 K, and a good transmittance ∼82% in the wavelength region of 400–1100 nm. It can well meet the requirements for transparent thermoelectric thin films. Through X-ray diffraction, UV–Vis, and photoluminescence analyses, the Zn2+ substitution by Sb5+ can be elucidated for significantly enhancing the Seebeck coefficient and thermoelectric power factor due to the increase of density-of-state effective mass.
