With increasing proportion of wind power integrated in the power system, operation simulation analysis has become an important tool for power system planning and operation. This paper presents a ...statistical modeling scheme for the stochastic time series of multiple wind farms power considering both the temporal patterns and the spatial correlation. The proposed composite spatiotemporal Markov process model is composed of a temporal Markov process with inter-day modal transfer, and multiple spatial Markov processes to reflect the correlation among wind farms. Evaluation on the simulation results through statistical metrics showed the feasibility and performance of the proposed scheme.
This paper is concerned with the superconvergent points of the continuous Galerkin solutions for delay differential equations of pantograph type. We prove the local nodal superconvergence of ...continuous Galerkin solutions under uniform meshes and locate all the superconvergent points based on the supercloseness between the continuous Galerkin solution U and the interpolation Hhu of the exact solution u. The theoretical results are illustrated by numerical examples.

In this paper, a discontinuous Galerkin (DG) time stepping method combined with the standard finite element method in space is proposed to solve a class of semilinear parabolic differential equations ...with time constant delay. The time semi-discretization and the relevant global convergence of the DG solution under suitable uniform meshes are derived. The standard Galerkin method in space is used to obtain the fully discrete scheme and the optimal global convergence of the full discretization is presented. Numerical experiments for one-dimensional and two-dimensional equations are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results.

spectral element approximation based on some suitable projection operators are proved carefully. Using some properties of projection operators, a posteriori error estimates for both the state and the control approximation under some reasonable assumptions are established rigorously. Such estimates are useful tools, which can be used to construct reliable adaptive spectral element methods for optimal control problems.
Aiming at the scenario where edge devices rely on cloud servers for collaborative computing, this paper proposes an efficient edge-cloud collaborative reasoning method. In order to meet the ...application’s specific requirements for delay or accuracy, an optimal division point selection algorithm is proposed. A kind of multichannel supply chain price game model is constructed, and nonlinear dynamics theory is introduced into the research of the multichannel supply chain market. According to the actual competition situation, the different business strategies of retailers are considered in the modeling, which makes the model closer to the actual competition situation. Taking the retailer’s profit as an indicator, the influence of the chaos phenomenon on the market performance is analyzed. Compared with the previous studies, this thesis uses nonlinear theory to better reveal the operating laws of the economic system. This paper selects company A in the financial industry to acquire company B in Sweden. It is concluded that company B is currently facing financial difficulties, but its brand and technical advantages are far superior to company A. The indirect financial risk index of company B, that is, the investment environment, is analyzed, and the final investment environment score of the country where company B is located is 90 points, which is an excellent grade by scoring the investment environment of the target enterprise. Combining the investment environment score and the alarm situation prediction score, it is concluded that the postmerger financial risk warning level of company A is in serious alarm.
Organ homeostasis is orchestrated by time- and spatially restricted cell proliferation. Studies identifying cells with superior proliferative capacities often rely on the lineage tracing of a subset ...of cell populations, which introduces a potential selective bias. In this work, we developed a genetic system proliferation tracer (ProTracer) by incorporating dual recombinases to seamlessly record the proliferation events of entire cell populations over time in multiple organs. In the mouse liver, ProTracer revealed more hepatocyte proliferation in distinct zones during liver homeostasis, injury repair, and regrowth. Clonal analysis showed that most of the hepatocytes labeled by ProTracer had undergone cell division. By genetically recording proliferation events of entire cell populations, ProTracer enables the unbiased detection of specific cellular compartments with enhanced regenerative capacities.
In this paper, we investigate the local superconvergence of the discontinuous Galerkin (DG) solutions on quasi-graded meshes for nonlinear delay differential equations with vanishing delay. It is ...shown that the optimal order of the DG solution at the mesh points is O(h2m+1). By analyzing the supercloseness between the DG solution and the interpolation Πhu of the exact solution, we get the optimal order O(hm+2) of the DG solution at characteristic points. We then extend the convergence results of DG solutions to state dependent delay differential equations. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the theoretical results.
This paper is an in-depth study of international trade quantification models based on deep neural networks. Based on an in-depth analysis of global trade characteristics, a summary of existing ...problems, and a comparative analysis of various prediction methods, this paper constructs the ARIMA model, BP neural network (BPNN) model, and deep neural network (DNN) model to make a comprehensive comparison of international trade quantification. The results show that the nonlinear model has a global trade quantification has some advantages over linear models, and the deep model shows better prediction performance than the shallow model. In addition, preprocessing of the time series is considered to improve the prediction accuracy or shorten the model training time. The empirical modal analysis method (EMD) is introduced to decompose the time series into eigenmodal functions (IMFs) of different scales. Then the decomposed IMF series are arranged into a matrix using principal component analysis (PCA) to reduce the dimensionality and extract the data containing the most stock index information features; these features are then input into BPNN and DNN for combined prediction, thus constructing the combined models EMD-PCA-BPNN and EMD-PCA-DNN. Based on Melitz’s heterogeneous firm trade theory and its development by Chaney, a quantitative trade model incorporating production heterogeneity is constructed through a multisector extension. This paper adopts a general equilibrium analysis, which makes the modeling process pulse clear. The completed model has high flexibility and scalability, which can be applied to quantitative analysis of various problems.
Abstract
Cardiac regeneration involves the generation of new cardiomyocytes from cycling cardiomyocytes. Understanding cell-cycle activity of pre-existing cardiomyocytes provides valuable information ...to heart repair and regeneration. However, the anatomical locations and in situ dynamics of cycling cardiomyocytes remain unclear. Here we develop a genetic approach for a temporally seamless recording of cardiomyocyte-specific cell-cycle activity in vivo. We find that the majority of cycling cardiomyocytes are positioned in the subendocardial muscle of the left ventricle, especially in the papillary muscles. Clonal analysis revealed that a subset of cycling cardiomyocytes have undergone cell division. Myocardial infarction and cardiac pressure overload induce regional patterns of cycling cardiomyocytes. Mechanistically, cardiomyocyte cell cycle activity requires the Hippo pathway effector YAP. These genetic fate-mapping studies advance our basic understanding of cardiomyocyte cell cycle activity and generation in cardiac homeostasis, repair, and regeneration.
Background/Aims: CircRNAs, as miRNA sponges, participate in many important biological processes. However, it remains unclear whether circRNAs can regulate lipid metabolism. This paper aims to study ...the molecular mechanism of fat deposition and provide useful information for the prevention and therapy of lipid metabolism-related diseases. Methods: CircRNA sequencing was performed to investigate the expression of circRNAs in the subcutaneous adipose tissues of Large White pig and Laiwu pig. The expression of circRNAs was further validated by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Furthermore, circRNA-microRNAs (miRNA)-mRNA interaction networks were constructed using bioinformatics tools. In addition, GO and KEGG enrichment analyses were performed for the target genes of circRNAs. Results: In the subcutaneous adipose tissue of Laiwu pig, 70 up-regulated circRNAs and 205 down-regulated circRNAs were identified. Two circRNAs (up-regulated circRNA_26852 and down-regulated circRNA_11897), the expressions of which were confirmed by qRT-PCR, were selected for subsequent analysis. CircRNA-miRNA-mRNA interaction networks were constructed for circRNA_26852 and its target genes as well as circRNA_11897 and its target genes. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses reveal that the target genes of circRNA_26852 and circRNA_11897 are enriched in pathways related to adipocyte differentiation and lipid metabolism, as well as in disease-related pathways. Conclusions: In this study, circRNA sequencing and bioinformatics technique were used to analyze, for the first time, the expression of circRNAs in the subcutaneous adipose tissues of Large White pig and Laiwu pig. It is inferred that circRNAs might regulate adipogenic differentiation and lipid metabolism. The results provide a theoretical basis for further study on fat deposition mechanism and provide potential therapy targets for metabolism-related diseases.
