Korisni mikroorganizmi uključuju gljive, bakterije, protozoe te druge organizme koji pozitivno utječu na razvitak biljaka, otpornost na biljne bolesti i prilagodbu na stres iz okoliša. Zbog povećane ...upotrebe klasičnih sintetskih pesticida i gnojiva u posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća, postoji velika učestalost otpornosti patogena i porast ostataka pesticida u okolišu. U skladu s tim, korisni mikroorganizmi se sve više primjenjuju jer ne ostavljaju otrovne rezidue u okolišu i ne izazivaju otpornost patogenih organizama.
Beneficial microorganisms include fungi, bacteria, protozoa and other organisms that have a positive effect on plant development, resistance to plant diseases and adaptation to environmental stress. Due to the increased use of classic synthetic pesticides and fertilizers in the last few decades, there is a high incidence of pathogen resistance and an increase in pesticide residues in the environment. Accordingly, beneficial microorganisms are increasingly used because they do not leave toxic residues in the environment and do not cause resistance in pathogenic organisms.
Paper focuses on analysis of the human resource management in project management – from the perspective of the organisation and the individual. Firstly, paper will explore the theoretical perspective ...of the human resource management concept as it is applied to project-oriented organisations. Different approaches to project management will be reviewed (traditional and agile approach) and their implications to human resource management. Next, focus will be on the elements of human resource management such as competence development, career development, but also organisational culture and internal communication. Focus will also be on individuals – employees, on their competences and motivation as important factors of the successful achievement of the project goals. Questionnaire research will examine the way in which specific project environment impacts human resource management and motivation of employees in civil society organisations. Concluding remarks will provide theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations for the improvement of human resource management practices in project management.
To the best of our knowledge, studies are lacking on burnout among veterinary students in Serbia, and this is the first study trying to address such a problem. Therefore, the aim of this ...cross-sectional study was to investigate the predictors of burnout among Belgrade veterinary students.
Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and anonymous structured questionnaire addressed to personal data, health habits and stressful influence of educational process were applied among 496 respondents from a total of 1113 students from all grades in spring semester 2014 (response rate 44.6%).
The prevalence of burnout was 43.3%. High scores on depersonalization and emotional exhaustion scales of MBI were found among 79.4% and 45.0% students, respectively; low personal accomplishment was reported by 50.5% students. Female students reported higher levels of emotional exhaustion compared to males (p = 0.012). A low score on personal achievement scale of MBI was least frequent among the freshmen and most frequent among sophomores (41.1% and 65.3%, respectively; p = 0.986). There were more students with burnout who considered their health as a worsened vs. pre-study period compared to students with no burnout, both concerning mental (61.4% vs. 38.6%) and physical health (61.1% vs. 38.9%; both p<0.001). There were more smokers among students who suffered from burnout compared to students who did not (52.0% vs. 48.0%; p = 0.013). A multiple regression revealed an independent dose-response effect of perceived stress at exams on the onset of burnout (moderate stress OR = 2.164 and high stress OR = 3.878). Also, students with the moderate and high stressful effect of communication with teaching staff, as well as, those with worse self-perceived physical and mental health had more than two times higher presence of burnout.
The prevalence of burnout among Belgrade veterinary students is relatively high. Primary prevention should be focused on the revealed predictors of burnout.

High levels of environmental noise may lead to psychological symptoms. The present study has hypothesized that personal listening device (PLD) use and a negative attitude to noise are significantly ...related to anxiety and/or depression.
This is a cross-sectional study conducted on 431 six-grade students (35% male) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. All students completed the questionnaires related to socio-demographic data, noise/music exposure habits, behaviors related to PLD use, tinnitus, headaches, consumption of alcohol, coffee, energy drinks and cigarettes, YANS (Youth Attitude to Noise Scale), CES-D (The Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression), and GAD-7 (Generalised Anxiety Disorder Assessment - 7 item scale) questionnaires.
There were 396 (91.9%) of investigated students who used PLD, with more frequent use among girls compared to boys (95.0% and 86.8%, respectively; p = 0.002). We found no significant relationship between the frequency of PLD use and depression and anxiety. However, continuous daily PLD use longer than 1 hour was significantly and positively related to depression (p = 0.006). Students with depression had a lower total YANS score compared to those without depression, indicating a more negative attitude toward noise (p = 0.042). Students with no difficulties to concentrate in noise and with a positive attitude to daily noises had about 37% lower chance to suffer from depression and anxiety, respectively.
PLD use is common among medical students and may be associated with their mental health. Longer than 1 hour of continuous daily use of PLD may be positively related to depression. We also found a significant relationship between difficulties concentrating in noisy environments and depression, and between negative attitudes to daily noises and anxiety.
Determinirali smo 11 vrsta roda Fusarium: F. avenaceum, F. acuminatum, F. equiseti, F. graminearum, F. oxysporum, F. proliferatum, F. semitectum, F. solani, F. subglutinans, F. venenatum i F. verticillioides.
Endophytic fungi live within plants without causing obvious disease symptoms. Weeds growing near agricultural fields can harbor these fungi and serve as alternative hosts. We isolated endophytic fungi from 6 species of symptomless weeds common to eastern Croatia: velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti), redroot amaranth (Amaranthus retroflexus), annual ragweed (Ambrosia arthemisiifolia), lambsquarters (Chenopodium album), Johnsongrass (Sorghum halepense) and rough cocklebur (Xantium strumarium), from eight different locations and identified 11 Fusarium species inhabiting them: F. avenaceum, F. acuminatum, F. equiseti, F. graminearum, F. oxysporum, F. proliferatum, F. semitectum, F. solani, F. subglutinans, F. venenatum and F. verticillioides. The aim of this research was to determine fungal species and frequency of isolation for each weed, together with geographical distribution. We have found a significant difference between mycoflora of the same weed species present at different locations. These results suggest that there is a link between endophytic fungi, its weed host and habitat.
The educational process brings a considerable amount of stress to medical students that can influence mental health status and contribute to further professional burnout. The authors assessed the ...academic stress influences, mental health status and burnout syndrome, with the intent to find different patterns in female and male medical students.
The applied cross sectional study was in the form of an anonymous questionnaire which included: socio-demographic data, self-reported health status and influence of studying activities on stress level in 755 medical students who attended two final years. Mental health status was explored by the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI).
Female students assessed their physical health status and general stress level as worse compared to males (p<0.001). Exams were described as a high stressor in about 50% of all examined students. However, this stressor was significantly more frequent in female students (p<0.001). Female students frequently declared high stressful effects of contacts with patients (p=0.009) and autopsy (p<0.001). The scores of the GHQ-12 questionnaire were above the threshold or high in 51.5% of all students, and also significantly higher in females (p=0.001). High scores were found among 52.6% of all examined students on MBI subscale of Depersonalization, and 33.6% on MBI subscale of Emotional exhaustion without gender difference.
Measures for prevention of academic distress should be targeted at optimization of the educational process, development of the clinical skills and professionalism, with special concern to female students who manifested high vulnerability.
Traumatic experience in childhood or adolescence has a significant impact on the development of chronic mental and physical conditions in adulthood. Thus, it is very important for health ...professionals, especially primary care physicians to have an inventory in order to detect early trauma for planning appropriate treatment, such as the Early Trauma Inventory (ETI). The aim of this paper is to test the psychometric properties of the Slovenian translation of the short, self-rated version (ETISR-SF), and to further validate the instrument.
The research was done in two parts - qualitative and quantitative. In the qualitative part, a questionnaire was translated and culturally adapted using the Delphi method. For the quantitative part, 51 patients with substance use disorders hospitalized at the Centre for the Treatment of Drug Addictions were recruited, along with 133 controls. The psychometric properties of the questionnaire were checked. Internal consistency was calculated using Cronbach's alpha, test-retest reliability was examined graphically using a Bland-Altman plot. Discriminant validity between groups was gauged using the independent samples t-test.
Consensus in the Delphi study was reached in the second round. Cronbach's alpha varied between 0.60 - 0.85. Of the four domains, physical abuse had the lowest Cronbach's alpha. The test-retest reliability is high for all domains, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.82 to 0.96. The non-clinical sample differed significantly from the clinical sample.
The Slovenian translation of ETISR-SF is a satisfactory instrument for the evaluation of trauma before the age of 18.
Introduction. Adenocarcinoma is the most common prostatic malignancy, where clinical management, the Gleason score, and recent updates in prostate cancer staging play critical roles. Mantle cell ...lymphoma (MCL) originates from the malignant transformation of B lymphocyte in the outer edge of the lymph node follicle, with pathognomonic over-expression of cyclin D1. We present a rare case of two simultaneous neoplasms occurring in the same patient. Case report. During the hospital preoperative examinations in a 68-year-old patient planned for radical prostatectomy, using multislice computed tomography, a tumor mass confined to the prostate, but also excessive lymph node enlargement, was revealed. Tissue specimens were analyzed after the hematoxylin and eosin staining was performed, as well as an immunohistochemical (IH) biomarker panel. Having performed a thorough histological examination, a diagnosis of prostatic adenocarcinoma was made, with a Gleason score 3 + 4 = 7 and Grade Group 2 of the International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP). Microscopic analysis of lymph node involvement showed unexpected, diffuse proliferation of small lymphoid cells with irregular nuclei, wide mantle zone, and hyalinized blood vessels. After using IH staining for specific markers, another diagnosis was set, and it was non-Hodgkin MCL. Conclusion. A prostatic adenocarcinoma can rarely coexist with an undiagnosed lymphoproliferative disease, such as non-Hodgkin MCL in our case.

Introduction. Mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma of the kidney (MTSCC) is a rare and recently described subtype of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). As its name indicates, the tumor is composed of ...three morphological structures: tubules consisted of cuboidal cells, spindle cells, and extracellular mucus. Case report. A 59-year-old female patient was admitted to the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident. After diagnostic procedures, computer tomography (CT) revealed a large asymptomatic cyst of the upper pole of the left kidney as an incidental finding. Four months later, after recovering from traumatic injuries, a control CT confirmed a well-circumscribed tumor, 90 mm in diameter, confined to a kidney, and a radical nephrectomy was performed. Histopathological evaluation showed that the necrotic tumor mass consisted of tubules made of cuboidal cells and cords made of spindle cells separated by pale mucinous material in some areas, while other tumor parts were of dense cellularity without mucin. No atypia was found. Conclusion. MTSCC is a variant of papillary RCC, thus, it is usually mistaken with papillary RCC with sarcomatoid differentiation. Because of the same immunoprofile as papillary RCC, histomorphology is imposed as the gold standard for making the diagnosis. MTSCC is a tumor with a generally favorable prognosis, and complete surgical excision appears to be adequate treatment, but single cases with metastatic disease have been reported. In this case, there were no signs of the dis-ease one year after surgery.

Referring to a newly formed word that accommodates the usage of a language at a particular time, the term neologism presents a relatively recent or isolated term, word, or phrase that may undergo the ...process of entering everyday usage, but that has not been fully accepted into language. They appear to be strongly influenced by changes in society, especially in culture and technology, and recently by rapid advancements in internet-based communication. However, due to their significant use, they seem to be widely and quickly accepted in social networking sites around the globe (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp). These social networking sites have had a significant impact on everyone nowadays as they improve and speed up communication, foster relationships, and also boost business ventures. The hypothesis of this paper states that neologisms created by different morphological processes are excessively used in internet-based communication, for which purpose the examples from the four most popular social networks have been extracted and compared. The results of the analysis have shown an extremely high percentage of the usage of neologisms in social networking sites.
