Industry 4.0 trends have a significant influence on the acceleration of technology in Indonesia. The development of financial technology has shifted conventional transactions to electronic money as a ...means of payment with a digital system. Electronic money users in Indonesia continue to grow, while several factors affect consumer decision making to use electronic money. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, practicality, and consumer lifestyle on consumer interest in using chip-based electronic money. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires to chip-based electronic money users. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to verify the factors that determine the indicators of the findings of interest in the use of chip-based electronic money. The study results indicate that: (a) Financial literacy has a significant positive effect on interest in using chip-based electronic money by 14.6%; (b) Financial literacy has a significant positive effect on practicality in the use of chip-based electronic money by 51.8%; (c) Practicality in the use of chip-based electronic money has a significant positive effect on consumer lifestyles by 71.3%; (d) Practicality has a significant positive effect on the use of chip-based electronic money by 25%; and (e) Consumer lifestyle has a significant positive effect on the use of chip-based electronic money by 52.8%. The study results imply that it can be used as a consideration for making monetary policy in Indonesia, dealing with the rapid growth in the use of chip-based electronic money.
(1) Background: The purpose of this research is to find out how product knowledge, benefit perception, and risk perception variables affect the decision to use e-wallets (Go-Pay). (2) Methods: The ...population used in this study is Indonesian students who used Go-Pay to carry transactions at Warunk Upnormal of Dipatiukur Branch, West Java, Indonesia. The sampling technique used by the author is a non-probability sampling technique. Meanwhile, the type of sampling used by the author is accidental sampling. Based on the calculations made, the sample used in this study is 100 Indonesian students. Furthermore, the research method used in this study is quantitative methods. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling (SEM). (3) Results: this study indicates that the final product knowledge and perception of risk have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction. The latent variable of perceived benefits has a negative and insignificant impact on the decision to use. (4) Conclusions: the latent variables of product knowledge and risk perception have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction. Meanwhile, the latent variable of perceived benefits has a negative and insignificant impact on the decision to use the e-wallet.
Today, the spread of the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic continues to impact on world public health and bring about considerable human suffering partly due to government policies on reducing the ...spread. COVID-19 has significantly affected human health and it has impacted on the occupation of vulnerable groups such as tour guides, drivers and shop assistants. Of these, the present study aims to investigate the impact of the COVID-19 self-isolation policy on the occupation of vulnerable groups in Semarang City, Indonesia. To achieve this objective, this study uses a qualitative method with an ethnography approach considering a rational or non-rational thinking model. The binary opposition thinking pattern pioneered by Lévi-Strauss was used in the interview process with 25 informants in Semarang City, Indonesia. The data analyzed the response pattern of informants through the taxonomy analysis. Three levels of vulnerability among groups relating to occupation were identified; jobs lost, income decreased, and delayed salary. The result of the analysis found that the group who obeyed self-isolation was categorized as a rational thinking; these groups stay at home, do not go to work, and have no income. Besides that, the group who ignored self-isolation is categorized as non-rational thinking; they work, as usual, get their salary, and believe that the COVID-19 pandemic is a disaster and they pray for their safety to God. In conclusion, COVID-19 brings a significant impact on occupation in the forms of postponing, declining, and missing income besides the health effects among vulnerable groups in Semarang city, Indonesia. In avoiding COVID-19 infection, the circumstances of vulnerable groups are worse when self-isolation is required. Thus, this study suggests that the government needs to assist vulnerable groups by focusing on strategic policies, such as strategies for survival, providing access to basic needs, including health, and offering livelihood plans by providing access to medical services and other source of income.
The primary notion of sustainable development is to maintain a promising future for the planet and the next generation by raising the awareness of sustainable development of people around the world. ...This study seeks to foster and enhance more sustainable behaviour in households, workplaces, schools, and higher educational institutions; previous research has placed increasing attention on the identification of factors of pro-environmental behaviour. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the elements influencing the pro-environmental behaviour of employees in the workplace. A survey was performed from January to February 2020 on 150 public employees of an organisation in Terengganu. Out of 150 employees, only 84 participated and had their responses collected by using convenience sampling. Smart PLS-SEM was used in analysing the relationships between the variables. The result of this study found that green lifestyles have a significant positive effect on pro-environmental behaviour. However, the impacts of environmental commitment, environmental consciousness, green self-efficacy, and green human resource management were insignificant. This study provides data that were developed using a cross-sectional design; the assessment of causality among the constructs was a risky process. Furthermore, the study collected data from a single source, namely the employees, which would enhance the relationships through common method bias. The findings of this study also offered several managerial implications for green organisations.

Indonesia suffers significant economic losses from floods, and state budget allocations are often inadequate. Flood bonds provide an alternative funding source, but the pricing framework is complex ...due to simultaneous flood and financial risk considerations. Therefore, this study aims to model flood bond prices as an alternative flood funding in Indonesia. The model is formulated using the risk-neutral-pricing measure with the stochastic assumption of the force of interest. The claim trigger is represented as maximum rainfall, which is modeled as a continuous-stochastic process with a discrete-time index. Given the varying patterns of rainy and dry seasons, we assume both durations are dynamic. Then, we provide the approximate model solution for the government to estimate bond prices quickly. This estimation shows that the bond’s trigger point is proportional to the bond prices. Additionally, bond prices are proportional to the dry season duration and inversely proportional to the rainy season duration. We also show that using a stochastic force of interest yields significant differences from a constant one except for the constant as data average. This study can help the Indonesian government price flood bonds and provide more tools for related meteorological and climatological institutions to calculate the probability of future maximum rainfall.
Nowadays, the issue of teachers’ psychological well-being causes serious concern, especially in Malaysia. Many studies related to psychological well-being have focused on students rather than on the ...health and well-being of teachers. Thus, the current study investigated the determinants of psychological well-being (depression, anxiety and stress) from the psychosocial work environment (job control, job demands and social support), and examined the moderating role of job control and social support in the relationship between job demands and psychological well-being among teachers. The design of this study was quantitative research through a survey questionnaire. The sample consisted of 335 high school teachers (23.3%—male; 76.7%—female) who responded to measuring scales of job demands, job control, social support, depression, anxiety and stress, and socio-demographic profile. The data were analyzed using two statistical methods, namely descriptive and inferential statistics. The hierarchical linear regression model was used to analyze the data by assisting the statistical software, i.e., SPSS-23. The results showed that job demands, job control and social support significantly predicted teachers’ psychological well-being. Furthermore, the effect of job demands on teachers’ depression and anxiety was partially moderated by job control and social support. In conclusion, this study has successfully identified the significant predictors of teachers’ psychological well-being and the role of job control and social support as a moderating variable to teachers’ psychological well-being in Malaysia. The result provides insights and contributes to the literature of teachers’ psychological well-being determinants and involves Malaysian respondents with a collectivistic eastern culture.
In this paper we review the applications of fractional differential equation in economic growth models. This includes the theories about linear and nonlinear fractional differential equation, ...including the Fractional Riccati Differential Equation (FRDE) and its applications in economic growth models with memory effect. The method used in this study is by comparing related literatures and evaluate them comprehensively. The results of this study are the chronological order of the applications of the Fractional Differential Equation (FDE) in economic growth models and the development on theories of the FDE solutions, including the FRDE forms of economic growth models. This study also provides a comparative analysis on solutions of linear and nonlinear FDE, and approximate solution of economic growth models involving memory effects using various methods. The main contribution of this research is the chonological development of the theory to find necessary and sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of the FDE in economic growth and the methods to obtain the solution. Some remarks on how further researches can be done are also presented as a general conclusion.

Before entering the 21st century terror attacks are blatant in the business sector by sabotaging and damaging public facilities and vital objects. These physical attacks can be prevented by recording personal identities or conducting regular security patrols and placing a large number of security personnel in places of business and places that are considered strategic. However, this is still not optimal where the level of security and the number of personnel are limited in monitoring the place for a long time and are sustainable. The terrorist attacks in the 21st century are different and require different handling. Attacks can be physical or non-physical. On non-physical objects attacks are usually carried out by hacking networks that can damage internet network connections in one area and even one country. Ways to prevent attacks that are physical in nature by utilizing computer vision technology capabilities that are used to record all civil society. An additional feature in this technology lies in the face recognition and pattern matching techniques where a person's face will be searched for unique features. Then from these data will be biometric data, namely data that will not change and disappear. Computer vision algorithms can detect a person's face or object even though it has been modified or changed in physical and color conditions. The advantages of these algorithms are effectively used to record visitor identities and are optimal in recognizing an object with an accuracy of up to 90%. This system is able to help and improve a security feature of a business and tourist area.
Supply chains comprise various interconnected components like suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and customers, each with unique variables and interactions. Managing dynamic supply ...chains is highly challenging, particularly when considering various sources of risk factors. This paper extensively explores dynamical analysis and multistability analysis to understand nonlinear behaviors and pinpoint potential risks within supply chains. Different phase portraits are used to demonstrate the impact of various factors such as transportation risk, quality risk, distortion, contingency reserves, and safety stock on both customers and retailers. We introduced a sliding mode control method that computes the sliding surface and its derivative by considering the error and its derivative. The equivalent control law based on the sliding surface and its derivative is derived and validated for control purposes. Our results show that the controller SMC can significantly enhance supply chain stability and efficiency. This research provides a robust framework for understanding complex supply chain dynamics and offers practical solutions to enhance supply chain resilience and flexibility.
