The article explains the necessity to use cross-methodological approach to realization of marketing analytical function that combines methodology of classical marketing research and DataScience ...methodology. The explanation is based on results of literature analysis, which studies trends of DataDriven marketing development and DataScience; HeadHunter research dealing with assessing the compliance of the competence profile of specialist in the field of analytical marketing with demands of labour market and on results of the authors’ research in the present sphere. Comparative appraisal of efficiency of using classical methods of marketing research and DataScience methodology was conducted at enterprises; benefits and drawbacks of each of them were identified; similar and distinguishing stages of these approaches were found and efficiency of their integration was proved. Progress of Russian companies in realization of marketing analytical function by using DataDriven culture was estimated. Two principle reasons hindering the process of marketing based on data introduction to Russian organizations were named, i.e. non-compliance of competence profile of marketers-analysts//with market demands and uncoordinated investment in technologies aiming at DataDriven approach introduction into the company.
Aim. Identification of epidemiological patterns of the SARS-CoV-2 spread among the population of St. Petersburg during the one-year COVID-19 pandemic period.Materials and methods. The performed ...analysis focused on the dynamics of COVID-19 cases in St. Petersburg from 2/3/2020 to 4/4/2021 and on the gender-age profile of patients. The information about patients (age, gender, type of the disease, hospitalization, social, and occupational status) was obtained from the database containing the materials from statistical data form No. 058/u.Results. After one year, the dynamics of reported cases of COVID-19 in St. Petersburg shows two cycles of seasonal surge (spring and autumn-winter) and 8 epidemic periods. It has been found that there are no gender-age differences among COVID-19 patients, which can be seen from the relatively similar number of cases among men and women per 100,000 people in each age group during specific epidemic periods. The strong association between clinical manifestations of COVID-19 and the patients' age was detected: Severe cases were more frequently diagnosed in patients over 70 years, regardless of their gender identity. Based on the social and occupational status, the people who were most exposed to the COVID-19 epidemic process were retirees and people whose occupation was associated with health and safety of St. Petersburg. Among the COVID-19 patients, retirees accounted for 13.69% (men) and 17.67% (women). The proportion of healthcare workers was 3.67% (men) and 9.41% (women).Conclusion. It has been assumed that COVID-19 tends to be a seasonal disease featuring annual autumn-winter epidemic cycles. The study addressed prospects of preventive vaccination against COVID-19 in Russia and the importance of tracking the complications pathogenetically associated with the acute phase of the disease in the system of epidemiological surveillance.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic around the world and in Russia remains a major event of 2020. All over the world, research is being conducted to comprehensively study the patterns and manifestations of ...the epidemic process. The main quantitative characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 transmission dynamics among the population, based on the data of official monitoring over the current situation, play an important role in the development of the epidemiological surveillance system.
The aim of this study
is to explore the peculiarities of age-gender distribution of COVID-19 patients in Moscow.
Material and methods
. The data related to the epidemiological characteristics of age-gender structure of COVID-19 patients in Moscow between March 19, 2020 and April 15, 2020, at different stages of the epidemic were retrospectively analyzed.
Results and discussion.
The mean age of COVID-19 patients in Moscow was 46,41±20,58 years. The gender ratio (male/female) among the patients was 52.7/47.3 %, wherein the indicators varied depending upon the age. Male/female ratio in the age group “under 39” stood at 53.7/46.3 %, and “over 40 years of age” – at 39.3/60.7 %. The predominant age range among male cases was 19 to 39 years old – 35.4 %, while among female patients – 40–59 years (36.5 %). The age distribution of patients in Moscow is indicative of the fact that COVID-19 is a disease that primarily affects older age groups. The age structure of all COVID-19 cases during the observation period is characterized by predominance of adult patients over 19 years of age – 92,7 % (92,6–92,8 %), the share of patients aged 40–59 years is 35,7% (35,5–35,9 %). The differences in the age distribution in males and females are as follows: in the male cohort, the age groups 19–39 years old and 40–59 years old prevail – 35.4 % (35.1–35.7 %) and 34.9 % (34.6–35.2 %), respectively. The age group 40–59 years old – 36.5 % (36.3–36.8%) dominates in the female cohort.
Purpose: The heterogeneity of the economic space has intensified in recent years in the process of transition and laying the foundations of a market economy in the CIS countries, as well as in the EU ...regions, due to its expansion. This unevenness was manifested as a result of different starting levels of economies, different resource endowments, the choice of their targets and priorities for socio-economic development, and the increased authority of local authorities. Methodology: This is analytical-logical research that has been done through content analysis and documentary and library research. Result: Problems of market fiasco in the regions, as well as the important role of local institutions in regional development are also noted in the EU and serve as a strong argument for the need for government intervention in regional policy, primarily from the standpoint of regulating the innovation sphere, financial assistance to create jobs or clusters capable of self-development. Applications: This research can be used for universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of Institutional aspects of the cluster development of the regional economic system is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.
The Russian economy as a material base of the ongoing social reorganization is a complex set of industries, among which a special place belongs to industry. Industry is the leading branch of material ...production. It has a decisive influence on the development of productive forces and production relations. The development of industry promotes the rational allocation of productive forces, the comprehensive development of the economy of regions and the country, the expedient use of natural resources. The regional oil and gas chemical complex (RNK) of the industry is understood as the aggregate of economic entities - enterprises, firms, organizations and industries associated with exploration, production, transportation, processing, storage and sale of hydrocarbon raw materials, mineral resources and products obtained as a result of their processing, united by one operational basis of activity - the region where they are located and operate. Economic entities as structural elements of the regional oil and gas chemical complex are the main forms of the territorial organization of the productive forces and, acting as subsystems of the regional petrochemical complex, together constitute a complex structure of the complex, ensuring its integrity and stability under various transformations of the system under the influence of market factors of the external and internal environment. The structure of the regional petrochemical complex is understood as the composition, the quantitative ratio and the forms of interconnection of enterprises producing hydrocarbon raw materials and mineral resources and producing oil and gas chemical products in the region. The complexity of the RNA structure is expressed not only and not so much by the multiplicity of constituent elements, as by the diversity of their interrelations and, what is especially important, by the difference in their role in the organization and functioning of the complex as a whole. Directions for the development of the regional petrochemical complex are directly dependent on the resource availability of the region’s territory, the level of their development, the amount of explored reserves, the volumes of extraction and rationality of use. The development and justification of the priority areas for the development of the petrochemical complex of the region for individual industries, industries and enterprises, based on the assessment of the efficiency of the use of the territory’s resources, is an important element in determining the development vector of the social and economic system of the region as a whole.
Directions for the development of the regional petrochemical complex are directly dependent on the resource availability of the region’s territory, the level of their development, the amount of ...explored reserves, the volumes of extraction and rationality of use. The development and justification of the priority areas for the development of the petrochemical complex of the region for individual industries, industries and enterprises, based on the assessment of the efficiency of the use of the territory’s resources, is an important element in determining the development vector of the social and economic system of the region as a whole. The petrochemical complex of the Republic of Tatarstan includes enterprises of various petrochemical industries that produce virtually the entire range of petrochemical products. On the territory of the republic, a program has been developed and implemented that ensures sustainable reproduction and development of the mineral and raw materials base of the region, involving newly discovered minerals in the economic circulation. They allow replacing imported mineral raw materials or competing in the world market for the sale and consumption of mineral resources, products of their processing. The Republic of Tatarstan also possesses significant water and energy resources necessary for intensification of extraction and processing of raw materials by enterprises of petrochemicals. As a result of the analysis of the functioning of the petrochemical complex of this region, it was revealed that, based on the explored reserves of mineral resources, the most promising branches of the petrochemical industry are the production of organic synthesis products, which is the basis for the export of the Republic of Tatarstan. The petrochemical complex of this region is successful due to the situation on world commodity markets. The demand for mineral fertilizers and the production of organic synthesis chemistry demonstrates sustainable growth rates. The high degree of depreciation of fixed assets (more than 50%) and the insufficient level of investment are impeding the efficient functioning and dynamically developing of the petrochemical complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, the petrochemical industry is highly dependent on tariffs for the services of natural monopolies (gas, electricity), which will inevitably increase, including very significantly (to the level of European ones) due to the prevailing international situation and the natural process of the evolution of the world economy. All this can adversely affect the competitiveness of Tatarstan’s petrochemical enterprises.
