Technology transfer offices have an important role as facilitators in the management of the technology transfer process between academia and industry, and in stimulating innovation and economic ...development. This paper aims to provide a theoretical overview of the existing technology transfer office organizational forms and relevant factors for technology transfer, to analyze and discuss the relevant factors for successful technology transfer in Montenegro, and to identify the appropriate organizational form for the establishment of the Technology Transfer Office in Montenegro. The results of the conducted analysis indicate the establishment of the National Technology Transfer Office as the most appropriate organizational form in Montenegro. The establishment of the National Technology Transfer Office as an important and currently missing entity in the National Innovation System will have a positive impact on the technology transfer process, stimulating innovation and economic development in Montenegro.
Uredi za transfer tehnologije imaju važnu ulogu u upravljanju procesom transfera tehnologijeizmeđu akademske zajednice i privatnog sektora, te u poticanju inovacija i gospodarskog razvoja.Cilj ovog rada je dati teorijski pregled postojećih organizacijskih oblika ureda za transfer tehnologije irelevantnih čimbenika za transfer tehnologije, analizirati i razmotriti relevantne čimbenike za uspješantransfer tehnologije u Crnoj gori te identificirati i predložiti odgovarajući organizacijski oblik za osnivanje ureda za transfer tehnologije u Crnoj Gori. Rezultati provedene analize ukazuju na osnivanjeNacionalnog ureda za transfer tehnologije kao najprikladnijeg organizacijskog oblika u Crnoj Gori.Osnivanje Nacionalnog ureda za transfer tehnologije kao trenutno nedostajućeg, ali važnog subjektaunutar nacionalnog inovacijskog sustava imat će pozitivan utjecaj na unapređenje procesa transferatehnologije i poticanje inovacija i gospodarskog razvoja Crne Gore.
The study's major goal was to identify the most significant coccoliths based on foraminiferal species and fragment abundances, oxygen isotope ratios, and calculated temperatures. The degree of ...preservation of coccoliths and foraminifera indicates that the carbonate lysocline is between 3500 and 4000 m. The distribution of forty-four coccolithophore species in one hundred deep-sea core-tops from the southwest Indian Ocean is used.

Measuring the universities' knowledge transfer performance is important for both policymakers and universities due to the recognized social and economic impact of the knowledge transfer process. The ...aim of this paper is to investigate and discuss the contemporary knowledge transfer metrics used for measuring the knowledge transfer activities at universities. The research results show that the universities need to consider several important aspects when selecting and reporting on their knowledge transfer activities, such as the purpose and continuity of data collection and reporting on knowledge transfer activities, internal and external context in which universities operate, and implementation of common definitions for knowledge transfer indicators. Additional aspects identified from the conducted research which are important for the overall assessment of the universities’ knowledge transfer performances are the collection of both quantitative and qualitative data on knowledge transfer activities, and harmonization of the knowledge transfer metrics that will enable the universities to measure and compare their knowledge transfer activities, nationally and internationally.

The purpose of this research is to develop and apply the extreme learning machine (ELM) to forecast gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate. Economic growth may be developed on the basis on ...combination of different factors. In this investigation was analyzed the economic growth prediction based on the science and technology transfer. The main goal was to analyze the influence of number of granted European patents on the economic growth by field of technology. GDP was used as economic growth indicator. The ELM results are compared with genetic programming (GP) and artificial neural network (ANN). The reliability of the computational models were accessed based on simulation results and using several statistical indicators. Coefficient of determination for ELM method is 0.9841, for ANN method it is 0.7956 and for the GP method it is 0.7561. Based upon simulation results, it is demonstrated that ELM can be utilized effectively in applications of GDP forecasting.

This paper presents an analysis of economic aspects of three selected automation innovations in electronic Transportation Management Systems: Maritime Transport Chain solution and Vessel Estimated ...Time of Arrival solution (related to the maritime transport) and Delivery Planning solution (related to the transport in general). The theoretical background of transportation, Transportation Management Systems, maritime transportation and seaports is provided, focusing on the economic aspects. A literature review has been conducted, in order to identify the research gap and to focus on the economic aspects of the selected automation innovations. A SWOT Analysis of the Maritime Transport Chain solution, Vessel Estimated Time of Arrival solution and Delivery Planning solution (from an internal and external perspective) is presented, adding to the existing research of the economic aspects of automation innovations in the transport sector.

The purpose of the research presented in this paper is the development of the smart mobile phone application for vibration monitoring of pumping aggregate, based on Microchip’s microcontroller (MC). ...Hardware used is based on Bluetooth connection between smart sensor and smart mobile phone. Software for acquisition and data analysis is optimized for imbedded application in smart sensors. Smart acceleration sensor in conjunction with Bluetooth connection to smart mobile phone creates one touch mobile vibration monitoring system. The authors have performed numerous measurements on a wide range of aggregates for establishing the operating functionality of the newly created system. The possibility of system application I rail vehicle vibration monitoring is also analyzed.
