Abstract
The Queuing model introduced here defines a batch arrival model with the extra assumption of stages of service. In addition, the system deploys a set up time stage for the pre-processing ...work to be carried out, which is essential for the stages of service. In addition, we introduce a new factor Reneging that occurs twice in this model during the setup time stage and also during the t7=, ZO, WZpusZry, v(W(t7ZJi, RustZ=r’s, (rr7v(, follows a Poisson distribution, while the service rendered follows a general distribution. Here, we carry out the concept of Compulsory vacation as a maintenance work duration, which helps to reduce the occurrence of service interruption. The model is well elucidated with thermo pack process from mechanical engineering. Thermo pack is the machine that is used as a boiler. Generally, we raise the temperature of oil in the thermo pack. The working principle of the thermo pack is similar to that of an ordinary boiler. It can raise the temperature of the oil from the initial temperature along with the temperature of oil which has been already used once. After the production of hot oil, it is allowed to flow around the mould to keep up the temperature inside the mould. In other cases, this oil can also be used for refining purposes. Nowadays, recent advancements in the thermo pack have led to the creation of new and advanced small size thermo pack for small-scale production. The procedure completed in this structure is considered through Queuing hypothesis. The above process comprises queuing parameters like set up time, stages of process, compulsory vacation process and the concept of types of Reneging. The Queuing issue emerges in the above auxiliary technique is understood by valuable variable strategy. The probability of creating capacity of the line size, duration of line, the number of clients in the framework, holding up time of the clients in the line just as in the framework, usage factor and the inert time of the server are inferred. Numerical delineation and a broadened graphical assessment are undertaken around the conclusion to help the model.
Root morphology is known to be affected by light quality, quantity and direction. Light signal is perceived at the shoot, translocated to roots through vasculature and further modulates the root ...development. Photoreceptors are differentially expressed in both shoot and root cells. The light irradiation to the root affects shoot morphology as well as whole plant development. The current work aims to understand the white light intensity dependent changes in root patterning and correlate that with the global gene expression profile.
Different fluence of white light (WL) regulate overall root development via modulating the expression of a specific set of genes. Phytochrome A deficient Arabidopsis thaliana (phyA-211) showed shorter primary root compared to phytochrome B deficient (phyB-9) and wild type (WT) seedlings at a lower light intensity. However, at higher intensity, both mutants showed shorter primary root in comparison to WT. The lateral root number was observed to be lowest in phyA-211 at intensities of 38 and 75 μmol m
s
. The number of adventitious roots was significantly lower in phyA-211 as compared to WT and phyB-9 under all light intensities tested. With the root phenotypic data, microarray was performed for four different intensities of WL light in WT. Here, we identified ~ 5243 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) under all light intensities. Gene ontology-based analysis indicated that different intensities of WL predominantly affect a subset of genes having catalytic activity and localized to the cytoplasm and membrane. Furthermore, when root is irradiated with different intensities of WL, several key genes involved in hormone, light signaling and clock-regulated pathways are differentially expressed.
Using genome wide microarray-based approach, we have identified candidate genes in Arabidopsis root that responded to the changes in light intensities. Alteration in expression of genes such as PIF4, COL9, EPR1, CIP1, ARF18, ARR6, SAUR9, TOC1 etc. which are involved in light, hormone and clock pathway was validated by qRT-PCR. This indicates their potential role in light intensity mediated root development.

Eukaryotic cells express a large variety of ribonucleic acid-(RNA)-binding proteins (RBPs) with diverse affinity and specificity towards target RNAs that play a crucial role in almost every aspect of ...RNA metabolism. In addition, specific domains in RBPs impart catalytic activity or mediate protein-protein interactions, making RBPs versatile regulators of gene expression. In this review, we elaborate on recent experimental and computational approaches that have increased our understanding of RNA-protein interactions and their role in cellular function. We review aspects of gene expression that are modulated post-transcriptionally by RBPs, namely the stability of polymerase II-derived mRNA transcripts and their rate of translation into proteins. We further highlight the extensive regulatory networks of RBPs that implement a combinatorial control of gene expression. Taking cues from the recent development in the field, we argue that understanding spatio-temporal RNA-protein association on a transcriptome level will provide invaluable and unexpected insights into the regulatory codes that define growth, differentiation and disease.

Social Commerce networks are a powerful platform for spreading positive and negative emotional contagion, which is affecting users from different perspectives, i.e., psychology, attitude, buying ...decision. Emotional contagion is the phenomenon of having a person's emotions and behaviours directly trigger similar emotions or behaviour in other people. This research proposes a model to analyze the factors influencing emotional contagion that, in turn, impact consumer's attitudes, trust, and brand engagement. This study used a survey approach using a structured questionnaire. Primary data was collected from 174 social media users who shop online. The proposed model was tested using multiple regression analysis. The results demonstrated that effective content, visual or text, triggers customers' emotional contagion, influencing customer attitude and trust leading to brand engagement. The research study's findings can be used for deciding on content strategies of advertisements pertaining to social commerce.
Thalamic regulation of cortical function is important for several behavioral aspects including attention and sensorimotor control. This region has also been studied for its involvement in seizure ...activity. Among the NMDA receptor subunits GluN2C and GluN2D are particularly enriched in several thalamic nuclei including nucleus reticularis of the thalamus (nRT). We have previously found that GluN2C deletion does not have a strong influence on the basal excitability and burst firing characteristics of reticular thalamus neurons. Here we find that GluN2D ablation leads to reduced depolarization-induced spike frequency and reduced hyperpolarization-induced rebound burst firing in nRT neurons. Furthermore, reduced inhibitory neurotransmission was observed in the ventrobasal thalamus (VB). A model with preferential downregulation of GluN2D from parvalbumin (PV)-positive neurons was generated. Conditional deletion of GluN2D from PV neurons led to a decrease in excitability and burst firing. In addition, reduced excitability and burst firing was observed in the VB neurons together with reduced inhibitory neurotransmission. Finally, young mice with GluN2D downregulation in PV neurons showed significant resistance to pentylenetetrazol-induced seizure and differences in sensitivity to isoflurane anesthesia but were normal in other behaviors. Conditional deletion of GluN2D from PV neurons also affected expression of other GluN2 subunits and GABA receptor in the nRT. Together, these results identify a unique role of GluN2D-containing receptors in the regulation of thalamic circuitry and seizure susceptibility which is relevant to mutations in GRIN2D gene found to be associated with pediatric epilepsy.
•GluN2D subunit ablation reduces excitability of neurons in the reticular thalamus.•GluN2D subunit ablation reduces burst firing of neurons in the reticular thalamus.•GluN2D in parvalbumin neurons regulate seizure susceptibility and response to isoflurane.
Abstract
In medical science it has been commonly used for computer-aided brain surgery, Alzheimer’s therapy, tumour identification & other medical assessment. Accurate fusion algorithms can be made ...to ensure proper detection of diseases. The mechanism of fusion is incredibly insightful, since it transforms information from a single picture from two or more pictures into a single picture. In addition, the most common application is the use of images of the magnet resonance (MR) & the computed tomography image (CT). The objects in the source images must be reduced. A new algorithm is introduced here for image fusion. In the principal component analysis (PCA) domain, the nonlinear anisotropic filtering (NLAF) most efficiently preserves texture features of the segmented image. The source images are broken down into estimation & information layers by NLAF. The PCA support is used to measure the actual detail & approximation layers. Fusioned images are eventually generated by last detail and approximation layers linear combination. The algorithm suggested efficiency & quantitative output is evaluated by image consistency parameters, including the PSNR, entropy (E), square-root root (RMS) & structural similitude (SSIM) indices. Compared with the conventional & recent image fusion algorithms, detailed simulation findings of the suggested hybrid technique. Evaluation of efficiency shows that the proposed fusion solution is beyond the actual fusion approach.
Secondary growth is the most dynamic developmental aspect during the terrestrialization of plants. The development of secondary xylem tissue composed of thick-walled cells with characteristic changes ...in its structure and chemistry facilitates the growth and development of woody plants. In the present study, the chemical composition of the secondary xylem of juvenile and mature wood from the branch and main trunk of
, has been investigated and the differences established. The biochemical analysis of different cell wall components in the mature wood of the main trunk revealed high holocellulose and α-cellulose and less lignin content in the juvenile wood while its syringyl/guaiacyl (S/G) ratio was less than for the mature wood. As compared to the branch xylem, concentration of cell wall polysaccharides and lignin content was higher in both juvenile and mature wood collected from the main trunk. Thioacidolysis and GC-MS analysis of wood lignin from juvenile and mature wood showed that an increased concentration in lignin content in mature wood is associated with a corresponding increase in S/G ratio. The structural information of the acetylated lignin was investigated by
H NMR spectroscopy. Our results indicate that the mature wood from the main trunk is superior in pulp yielding and lignin degradability as compared to the juvenile wood of the branch and trunk.
Electromagnetic metal casting (EMC) is a casting technique that uses electromagnetic energy to heat metal powders. It is a faster, cleaner, and less time-consuming operation. Solid metals create ...issues in electromagnetics since they reflect the electromagnetic radiation rather than consume it—electromagnetic energy processing results in sounded pieces with higher-ranking material properties and a more excellent microstructure solution. For the physical production of the electromagnetic casting process, knowledge of electromagnetic material interaction is critical. Even where the heated material is an excellent electromagnetic absorber, the total heating quality is sometimes insufficient. Numerical modelling works on finding the proper coupled effects between properties to bring out the most effective operation. The main parameters influencing the quality of output of the EMC process are: power dissipated per unit volume into the material, penetration depth of electromagnetics, complex magnetic permeability and complex dielectric permittivity. The contact mechanism and interference pattern also, in turn, determines the quality of the process. Only a few parameters, such as the environment's temperature, the interference pattern, and the rate of metal solidification, can be controlled by AI models. Neural networks are used to achieve exact outcomes by stimulating the neurons in the human brain. Additive manufacturing (AM) is used to design mold and cores for metal casting. The models outperformed the traditional DFA optimization approach, which is susceptible to local minima. The system works only offline, so real-time analysis and corrections are not yet possible.
Abstract
Segmentation of MR brain image is quite useful in detection of tissues and further diagnosis. However, precise segmentation of tissues plays a significant role in diagnosing the patient more ...effectively. Previously, there are plenty of approaches was implemented and however they were failed to detect the exact tissue which led to the failure diagnosis. Therefore, an accurate detection of tissue is required for effective diagnosis. Here, this article presented an efficient segmentation of MR brain image tissues. Our approach includes a hybrid clustering mechanism with pre-processed by median filter. In addition, tissue area also estimated for better diagnosis of patient. In terms of computational complexity and segmentation accuracy the superiority of proposed hybrid approach over conventional segmentation algorithms of simulation results was disclosed.
