The objective was to assess clinical and anamnestic indicators and characteristics of blood erythrocytes in newborns according to the severity of anemia. Materials and methods: we examined the 65 ...case records of newborns with anemia who received medical treatment in pathology department of Rostov Research Institute of Obstetrics and Pediatrics from November, 2015 to March, 2016. All newborns were divided into 3 groups depending on the severity of anemia: I group included 40 newborns with mild case of anemia, II group – 8 infants with medium-heavy anemia, III group – 17 newborns with heavy extent of disease. Results. The most common risk factors of severe anemia on the distaff side are obesity (35.3%), anemia (100%), threatened miscarriage (65,%), cytomegalovirus infection (41%), gestational diabetes (or 41.2%). Conclusion: The risk factors of anemia in newborns are unfavorable for the antenatal period complicated by anemia, threatened miscarriage, gestational diabetes mellitus, cytomegalovirus infection, presence of respiratory distress syndrome, cerebral ischemia II degree in combination with hemolytic disease of the newborn.
The article discusses the method of multidisciplinary treatment of patients with a diagnosis of M54.5 "Low back pain" based on the combined use of physiotherapy, kinesitherapy and correction of ...anxious depression. It was established that treatment of patients with lower back pain based on the proposed method reduces the level of subjective assessment of pain according to the VAS scale by 28 ± 3% reduces the clinical manifestations of pain and by 21 ± 4% the level of depression according to A. Beck's psychometric table compared to the control group.

Today, sports anemia occurs in elite sports quite often, although it is not a disease (does not apply to ICD-10), but only a pathological condition. Sports anemia is characterized by changes in the ...red link of the blood, and it is associated with a decrease in the content of erythrocytes and / or hemoglobin. However, this condition leads to a significant decrease in physical performance, and, consequently, the effectiveness of the competitive activity of representatives, first of all, of cyclic sports. Athletes are more sensitive to the effects of anemia and iron deficiency than people who are not constantly exposed to intense physical activity, since performance depends on the maximum oxygen consumption and utilization of active muscles. Sports anemia is often iron deficient, as well as B12 and folate deficient. Therefore, the assessment of various factors accompanying the development of anemia and the development of technologies for the correction of this pathological condition is an important task of sports laboratory diagnostics, as well as pharmacology and nutritional science of sports. Material and methods. We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to assess the safety and effectiveness of the effect of a course use of the Santeferra dietary supplement containing liposomal ferric iron in the form of pyrophosphate, vitamins B9, B12 and ascorbic acid on the results of training activities of representatives of cyclic sports with predominantly an aerobic energy supply mechanism. In the course of a dynamic study, which lasted 60 days, the parameters of hematological homeostasis and accumulation, metabolism and transport of iron (content of serum iron, transferrin, ferritin, folic acid, iron binding capacity of serum, saturation of transferrin with iron), as well as the level of serum erythropoietin and the severity of oxidative stress were assessed directly in the membranes of erythrocytes. In parallel, we determined the indicators of aerobic endurance: the absolute and relative values of the maximum oxygen consumption and the PWC170 value. Results and discussion. We found out that in the study sample of 67 athletes who specialized in sports with aerobic energy supply (running disciplines of athletics, rowing and canoeing, triathlon, cross-country skiing), 19 (28.35%) had manifestations of sports anemia, and 23 (34.32%) had latent iron deficiency, which also negatively effect on their physical performance. The course application of Santefrerra, 1 capsule per day for 60 days, helped to normalize the accumulation, transport and metabolism of iron, as well as to significantly reduce the manifestations of oxidative stress that occurs under the influence of prolonged physical exertion. In athletes with anemia and latent iron deficiency, practically no changes in the content of erythropoietin in the blood serum were found. At the end of the course of taking a dietary supplement, the indicators of the relative maximum oxygen consumption in the athletes of the main group increased by 11.5% (P <0.05) and the results of the PWC170 test by 11.4% (P <0.05) which displays predominantly aerobic endurance. In the placebo-control groups, we noted no positive dynamics in indicators of the red link of hematological homeostasis and the accumulation, metabolism and transport of iron, as well as the parameters of the prooxidant-antioxidant balance directly in the erythrocyte membranes during the 60-day observation period. Indicators of aerobic endurance also remained unchanged. Conclusion. Thus, the course using Santeferra is not accompanied by the development of side effects and is effective for the treatment of iron deficiencies in athletes
The article deals with the effect of micro-filler additives on the properties of high-strength concrete. The effectiveness of microcements - mixtures based on highly dispersed cement and silica fume ...- has been substantiated. Using the methods of thermokinetic analysis and thermoporometry, the processes of heat release and the formation of microporosity during the hardening of ordinary cement and microcements without additives and with the addition of silica fume are studied. The positive effect of silica fume on the hydration and formation of the structure of cement stone is proved. It is shown that the nature of the hydration interaction in the system of "microcement - silica fume" contributes to the compaction of the structure and reduce the development of shrinkage phenomena. It was revealed that the use of microcementives allows to increase the workability of concrete mixtures and to accelerate the rate of curing of high-strength concrete. According to the results of the studies, the high efficiency of the use of components of the type "microcement - silica fume" in the technology of high-strength and durable concrete has been proved.
Introduction. Vaccination contributed to reduce the incidence of acute hepatitis B in the territories of the North-West Russia. The urgency of this problem remains due to the high incidence of ...chronic hepatitis B. This accounted for the need to develop a hepatitis B elimination program in the district discussed that was approved in 2013 by the head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing. Objective is to characterize the results of the program for the elimination of acute hepatitis B virus implemented in the North-Western Federal District. Materials and methods. The 2010–2020 incidence rate of acute and chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in the regions of the North-West Russia was carried out. To determine HBV genotypes and subgenotypes, 160 blood plasma samples from patients with acute hepatitis B were studied using molecular genetic methods (PCR, sequencing). The prevalence of latent hepatitis B in various population groups was assessed. The 2016–2020 hepatitis B vaccination coverage and relevant serological monitoring in adults was carried out. Results. While implementing the program, it was found that the incidence rate of acute hepatitis B in the district decreased by 4.5-fold, revealing in 2020 no cases of the disease in 5 regions, with incidence rate in the 6 subfederal units being lower than 1.0 per 100,000 population. Moreover, the incidence rate for chronic hepatitis B decreased by 2.6 times. The 2020 vaccination coverage of children under 17 and adults in all territories comprised more than 95% and 90%, respectively. In addition, it was shown the circulation of genotypes D and A of hepatitis B virus is dominated by genotype D (91.8%), subgenotype D2 (47.8%). The prevalence of latent hepatitis B among migrants was 6.5%, pregnant women — 4.9%, hemodialysis patients — 1.7%. Conclusion. Implementation of the program on elimination of acute viral hepatitis B in the territory of the North-West Russia contributed to raise in the vaccination coverage in adult population and lowered incidence rate of acute and chronic HBV infection.
