Background. The most common complication in breast reconstructive surgery using silicone implants after radical treatment for neoplasms is long-lasting lymphorrhea after the resection stage, which ...threatens the development of postoperative complications. The improvement of the surgical technique of reconstructive and reconstructive operations on the mammary gland does not allow to exclude tissue injury with the formation of a cavity, into which foreign materials (mesh endoprosthesis, silicone implant) are subsequently installed, which are one of the main factors in the formation of seroma. Optimization of pharmacotherapy support in the early postoperative period allows to minimize the manifestations of lymphorrhea and serogenesis, to improve the quality of life of patients.
Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of the treatment of 75 patients who underwent reconstructive breast surgery in the combined and complex treatment of breast cancer was carried out. The patients were divided into two representative groups depending on the intake of hydroxyethyldimethyldihydropyrimidine, a pyrimidine-type drug. At the same time, in one of the groups, hydroxyethyldimethyldihydropyrimidine was prescribed in accordance with the instructions for the use of this drug in order to optimize the wound process and prevent purulent-inflammatory disorders in the early postoperative period.
Results. In group 1 patients taking hydroxyethyldimethyldihydropyrimidine, there was a decrease in the duration of lymphorrhea by 2 times from 5.4 days (group 2) to 2.6 days after surgery. In addition, no cases of paraprosthetic seroma formation were recorded in group 1, while puncture management of paraprosthetic lymphocele was performed in 16 patients of group 2.
Conclusion. The inclusion of hydroxyethyldimethyldihydropyrimidine in the pharmacotherapy of maintenance in the early postoperative period in the study group of patients made it possible to significantly reduce the duration and volume of lymphorrhea, remove trapping drains from the paraprosthetic space earlier, prevent the formation of paraprosthetic seroma and the development of other, more formidable complications (suppuration, capsular contracture, silicone implant extrusion).

According modern biological hypotheses of the pathogenesis of affective disorders, hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis dysfunction play a special role in the pathogenesis of this condition. Our study ...shows that the range of neuroprotective neurosteroids is gender- and nosology-dependent. Patients with affective disorders have reduced levels of dehydroepiandrosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate; the most pronounced defi ciency of neuroprotective neurosteroids is typical of patients with a single depressive episode. Reduced levels of neurosteroids producing an anabolic effect probably indicate depletion of adaptive capacities of the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal system in affective disorders.
The OBJECTIVE was to study the informative value of ultrasound examination in patients with paracolar abscess, to evaluate the therapeutic and diagnostic effectiveness of minimally invasive treatment ...of abdominal and pelvic abscesses in this pathology.METHODS AND MATERIALS. In the period from 2016 to 2021, 85 patients who underwent minimally invasive drainage of paracolar abscesses were treated under ultrasound and RTV guidance. In 72 (84.7%) patients, the diagnosis was confirmed on MSCT. Transvaginal ultrasound was performed in 12 (14.1%) patients, and transrectal ultrasound was performed in 25 (29.4%) patients. In 18 (21.1%) cases, the diagnosis was determined on pelvic MRI.RESULTS. Diverticulitis in 65 (76.4 %) patients led to the development of paracolitis, with the formation of intraperitoneal and retroperitoneal inflammatory infiltrates in 40 (47 %) patients and in 25 (29.4 %) patients. Percutaneous drainage was performed in 85 cases. By volume, the abscesses were divided as follows: in 19 (22.3 %) patients, dimensions were 8–10 cm; in 42 (49.4 %) patients, dimensions were 5–8 cm; in 24 (28.2 %) patients, dimensions were up to 5 cm. The most severe group consisted of patients with an abscess volume of 8 to 10 cm. The duration of standing drains in patients with sizes 8–10 cm was 16–18 days, with sizes 5–8 cm–10–14 days, with sizes up to 5 cm – no more than 10 days. Rdical surgical treatment was performed in 15 (17.6 %) patients.CONCLUSION. A paracolar abscess is an indication for its minimally invasive drainage. We considered the technique of minimally invasive drainage as a possible «bridge» to elective surgery for diverticular disease of the colon. Ultrasound examination has a high sensitivity and specificity in diverticular disease of the colon. This makes it possible to use it not only as a method of primary examination and minimally invasive drainage of the abscess, but also as a way to objectify the dynamics of the affected area of the colon.
Addition of neuroprotector Cortexin to standard drug therapy of patients with organic emotionally labile (asthenic) disorders had a great influence on the neuroendocrine system and neurosteroid ...content: normalization of blood concentration of cortisol, dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate, and thyroid hormones was observed. Clinical improvement was associated with the recovery of organism homeostatic systems.
Different types of luminescence (photoluminescence, cathodoluminescence, X-ray luminescence in the range from 360 to 900 nm of monocrystalline diamond powders with grains from 125/100 to 250/200 µm) ...were studied. The powders were divided into different groups according to the perfection degree of their crystal structure and magnetic susceptibility value. At the room temperature the H3 luminescence of a diamond defect prevailed in all groups of crystals. At the liquid nitrogen temperature in the spectra of cathodoluminescence nickel centers dominated. Using selected diamonds and Sylgard 184 polysiloxane elastomer the samples of composite scintillators were made and their radiation resistance investigated. The higher radiation resistance relative of the standard YSO:Ce scintillators to the irradiation with fast electrons was installed.

Introduction. The quality of educational results in pharmaceutical botany in Ukraine is insufficient. This is evidenced by the results of the first stage of the Unified state qualification exam ...“KROK‑1” (“STEP 1”) in recent years. The improvement of the quality of education will be facilitated by the compilation of a clear list of types of medicinal plants, which applicants must study, and the acquaintance of future pharmacists with live plants stored in collections, in particular, the botanical garden of Odesa University.
Aim. The purpose of the work was to identify and characterize a part of the dendrological collection of the open ground in the arboretum of the National University Botanical Garden, important for studying in the course of pharmaceutical botany by students of the second (master’s) level of education within the OPP «Pharmacy».
Methods. For the first time, the dendrological collection of the open soil of the botanical garden was investigated for species used in scientific medicine. In order to identify the latter, the program recommended by the Ministry of Health, basic textbooks on pharmaceutical botany, pharmacognosy, the state register of medicinal products of Ukraine, the 2nd edition of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine were analyzed. The analysis of the species list was carried out according to traditional floristic methods.
Main results. In the dendrological collection of the botanical garden, 123 species from 42 families and 87 genera were found, which are considered in the textbook on pharmaceutical botany. Among them, the leading families are Rosaceae, Pinaceae, and Cupressaceae. Among life forms, trees dominate, with bushes being 2.3 times less frequent. Plants from the Circumboreal, Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian floristic regions predominate. Four species are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (Juniperus excelsa, J. foetidissima, Sorbus aucuparia, Taxus baccata) and 8 require protection on the global scale (Abies numidica, A. pinsapo, Aesculus hippocastanum, Cedrus atlantica, C. libani, Eucommia ulmoides, Ginkgo biloba, Sequoiadendron giganteum), two are close to them (Platycladus orientalis, Pistacia vera). More than half of these species are used in scientific medicine. There are 72 species (11 gymnosperms and 61 angiosperms) from 58 genera and 34 families which are studied under the OPP «Pharmacy». Trees also predominate among them, but the numberof trees is only 1.6 times higher than of bushes. Among them there is 1 species from the Red Book and 6 species that are under threat of extinction on the global scale.
The woody plants diversity is higher on the old territory of the botanical garden than on the new one. Zhakkar’s coefficient is 0.64.
Official woody plants were identified, which are not in the collection of the botanical garden, but can grow here in accordance with the requirements for the surrounding environment. 17 species are proposed to expand the collection in order to more fully meet the educational needs of students of higher education in the specialty «Pharmacy».
Background.
Using external robotic tools in rehabilitation of patients after stroke could activate neuroplasticity mechanisms, thus reducing the ischemic area and improving the neurological outcome ...of the disease.
Aim
. To evaluate the effectiveness of early rehabilitation of stroke patients in Tomsk Regional Stroke Center using assistive robotic tools by correlational analysis of clinical and laboratory biomarkers of brain neuroplasticity.
Materials and methods
. The study included 68 patients who suffered from stroke of the middle cerebral artery. Early rehabilitation was carried out in Tomsk Regional Stroke Center using assistive robotic tools according to the protocol. Neurotrophic factors in blood serum were measured by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The severity of neurological disorders was characterized based on the Fugl – Meyer assessment scale (FMA).
Results
. The clinical effectiveness of early motor rehabilitation in Tomsk Regional Stroke Center is confirmed by the statistically significant increase on the FMA scale by 5.2 ± 2.4 points (p = 0.008). Positive association between neurotrophic factors in blood serum and FMA total score enables to consider the resulting data as an evidence of neuroplasticity activation associated with the use of robotic electromechanical technologies.
