This paper presents a constrained hybrid optimal model predictive control method for the mobile energy storage system of Intelligent Electric Vehicle. A novel adaptive cruise control system is ...designed to optimize mobile energy storage management, active safety control, and fuel economy. A hierarchical control structure is proposed for active safety control and energy flow management. The main-loop is proposed to analyze and optimize active cruise safety control and energy management index using non-linear constrained hybrid optimal model predictive control method. The inner loop is used to chase the aim signal from the main loop using hysteresis current control method. Then, an electronic longitudinal control system is designed to avoid the collision and optimize energy management between the IEV and cruise following vehicles. At last, the simulations with typical driving conditions are built to justify the performance of the proposed controller. The results illustrate that the IEV with the designed hybrid controller can adaptively tracking the following vehicles, reduce the possibility of collision with optimal energy flow management.

Ginsenoside Rc is one of the active components of “nao-mai-tong,” which is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription widely used in the treatment of cerebral ischemia. Ginsenoside Rc has remarkable ...effects on the protection of the nervous system, but the molecular mechanism underlying its neuroprotective activity remains unclear. Thus, we aimed to integrate serum and network pharmacology to investigate the neuroprotective effect and potential mechanism of this ginsenoside for ischemic stroke. In this study, ginsenoside Rc was identified by liquid chromatography–Orbitrap tandem mass spectrometry system in the “nao-mai-tong” decoction. Network pharmacology and molecular docking simulation were employed to predict the potential targets and pharmacological mechanisms of ginsenoside Rc. Finally, oxygen-glucose deprivation reperfusion model of neuronal damage was induced in PC12 cells for verification of the decoction activity. Ginsenoside Rc was identified in “nao-mai-tong”-containing plasma and the analysis of bioinformatics indicated its key targets to be TNF-α and DRP-1. Besides, ginsenoside Rc reversed the alterations of TNF-α and DRP-1 level after oxygen-glucose deprivation reperfusion injury in a dose-dependent manner as indicated by experiments with antagonists.

Both environment protection and energy saving have attracted more and more attention in the electric vehicles (EVs) field. In fact, regarding control performance, electric motor has more advantages ...over conventional internal combustion engine. To decouple the interaction force between vehicle and various coordinating and integrating active control subsystems and estimate the real-time friction force for Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), this paper’s primary intention is uniform distribution of longitudinal tire-road friction force and control strategy for a Novel Anti-lock Braking System (Nov- ABS) which is designed to estimate and track not only any tire-road friction force, but the maximum tire-road friction force, based on the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). The longitudinal tire-road friction force is computed through real-time measurement of breaking force and angular acceleration of wheels. The Magic Formula Tire Model can be expressed by the reference model. The evolution of the tire-road friction is described by the constrained active-set SQP algorithm with regard to wheel slip, and as a result, it is feasible to identify the key parameters of the Magic Formula Tire Model. Accordingly, Inverse Quadratic Interpolation method is a proper way to estimate the desired wheel slip in regards to the reference of tireroad friction force from the top layer. Then, this paper adapts the Nonlinear Sliding Mode Control method to construct proposed Nov-ABS. According to the simulation results, the objective control strategy turns out to be feasible and satisfactory.
The lung metastasis of breast cancer involves complicated regulatory changes driven by chromatin remodelling. However, the epigenetic reprogramming and regulatory mechanisms in lung metastasis of ...breast cancer remain unclear. Here, we generated and analysed genome‐wide profiles of multiple histone modifications (H3K4me3, H3K27ac, H3K27me3, H3K4me1 and H3K9me3), as well as transcriptome data in lung‐metastatic and non‐lung‐metastatic breast cancer cells. Our results showed that the expression changes were correlated with the enrichment of specific histone modifications in promoters and enhancers. Promoter and enhancer reprogramming regulated gene expression in a synergetic way, and involved in multiple important biological processes and pathways. In addition, lots of gained super‐enhancers were identified in lung‐metastatic cells. We also identified master regulators driving differential gene expression during lung metastasis of breast cancer. We found that the cooperations between regulators were much closer in lung‐metastatic cells. Moreover, regulators such as TFAP2C, GTF2I and LMO4 were found to have potential prognostic value for lung metastasis free (LMF) survival of breast cancer. Functional studies motivated by our data analyses uncovered an important role of LMO4 in regulating metastasis. This study provided comprehensive insights into regulatory mechanisms, as well as potential prognostic markers for lung metastasis of breast cancer.
LncRNAs are involved in a wide range of biological processes, such as chromatin remodeling, mRNA splicing, mRNA editing and translation. They can either upregulate or downregulate gene expression, ...and play key roles in the progression of various human cancers. However, the functional mechanisms of most lncRNAs still remain unknown at present. This paper aims to provide space for the understanding of lncRNAs by proposing a new method to obtain protein-coding genes (PCGs) regulated by lncRNAs, thus identifying candidate cancer-related lncRNAs using bioinformatics approaches. This study presents a method based on sample correlation, which is applied to the expression profiles of lncRNAs and PCGs in prostate cancer in combination with protein interaction data to build a lncRNA-PCG bipartite network. Candidate cancer-related lncRNAs were extracted from the bipartite network by using a random walk. 14 prostate cancer-related lncRNAs were acquired from the LncRNADisease database and MNDR, of which 6 lncRNAs were present in our network. As one of the seed nodes, ENSG00000234741 achieved the highest score among them. The other two cancer-related lncRNAs (ENSG00000225937 and ENSG00000236830) were ranked within the top 30. In addition, the top candidate lncRNA ENSG00000261777 shares an intron with DDX19, and interacts with IGF2 P1, indicating its involvement in prostate cancer. In this paper, we described a new method for predicting candidate lncRNA targets, and obtained candidate therapeutic targets using this method. We hope that this study will bring a new perspective in future lncRNA studies.
Type 2 diabetes (T2D) increases the risk of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This study investigates the association between glucose control of COVID-19 patients with T2D in first 7 days after ...hospital admission and prognosis. A total of 252 infected inpatients with T2D in China were included. Well-controlled blood glucose was defined as stable fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels in the range of 3.9–7.8 mmol/L during first 7 days using indicators of average (FBG

. Well-controlled blood glucose levels in first 7 days could improve the prognosis of COVID-19 inpatients with diabetes.
Background. NaoMaiTong (NMT) is widely used in the treatment of cerebral ischemia but the molecular details of its beneficial effects remain poorly characterized. Materials and Methods. In this ...study, we used iTRAQ using 2D LC-MS/MS technology to investigate the cellular mechanisms governing the protective effects of NMT. The transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rat model was established and evaluated. The degree of cerebral ischemia was assessed through scoring for nerve injury symptoms and through the assessment of the areas of cerebral infarction. Brain tissues were subjected to analysis by iTRAQ. High-pH HPLC and RSLC-MS/MS analysis were performed to detect differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) between the treatment groups (Sham, MCAO, and NMT). Bioinformatics were employed for data analysis and DEPs were validated by western blot. Results. The results showed that NMT offers protection to the neurological damage caused by MCAO and was found to reduce the areas of cerebral infarction. We detected 3216 DEPs via mass spectrometry. Of these proteins, 21 displayed altered expression following NMT intervention. These included DEPs involved in translation, cell cycle regulation, cellular nitrogen metabolism, and stress responses. Pathway analysis revealed seven key DEPs that were enriched in ribosomal synthesis pathways, tight junction formation, and regulation of the actin cytoskeleton. According to protein-protein interaction analysis, RPL17, Tuba, and Rac1 were affected by NMT treatment, which was validated by western blot analysis. Discussion. We therefore identify new pharmacodynamic mechanisms of NMT for the prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke. These DEPs reveal new targets to prevent ischemic stroke induced neuronal damage.
MARCH8, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes such as protein degradation and signaling pathways and is implicated in the development and spread of ...pancreatic cancer. Analysis of pancreatic cancer tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues showed a decrease in miRNA-30d-5p levels and an increase in OIP5-AS1 and MARCH8 levels, as confirmed by qRT-PCR and Western blot analysis. The dual-luciferase reporter assay demonstrated a binding relationship between OIP5-AS1 and miRNA-30d-5p, as well as between miRNA-30d-5p and MARCH8 in PACN-1 cells, derived from a human pancreatic carcinoma specimen. Further investigations utilizing various assays revealed that OIP5-AS1 inhibited apoptosis and promoted cell proliferation, invasion, and migration in PACN-1 cells via the miRNA-30d-5p/MARCH8 axis in vitro. Tumor experiments in nude mice confirmed that OIP5-AS1 enhanced PACN-1 cell growth in vivo through the miRNA-30d-5p/MARCH8 axis. Additionally, OIP5-AS1 was found to activate downstream genes of the JAK-STAT pathway, namely IFNAR2, SOCS3, and JAK1, in PACN-1 cells. Furthermore, OIP5-AS1 increased the IC50 values for doxorubicin, gemcitabine, and cisplatin in PACN-1 cells, as determined by the Cell Counting Kit-8 assay. Overall, OIP5-AS1 was shown to promote aggressive traits and resistance to chemotherapy in PACN-1 cells through the miRNA-30d-5p/MARCH8 axis.
