The detection of gravitational waves opens a new era in physics. Now it's possible to observe the Universe using a fundamentally new way. Gravitational waves potentially permit getting insight into ...the physics of Core-Collapse Supernovae (CCSNe). However, due to signi cant uncertainties on the theoretical models of gravitational wave emission associated with CCSNe, bene ts may come from multi-messenger observations of CCSNe. Such bene ts include increased con dence in detection, extending the astrophysical reach of the detectors and allowing deeper understanding of the nature of the phenomenon. Fortunately, CCSNe have a neutrino signature con rmed by the observation of SN1987A. The gravitational and neutrino signals propagate with the speed of light and without signi cant interaction with interstellar matter. So that they must reach an observer on the Earth almost simultaneously. These facts open a way to search for the correlation between the signals. However, this method is limited by the sensitivity of modern neutrino detectors that allow to observe CCSNe only in the Local Group of galaxies. The methodology and status of a proposed joint search for the correlation signals are presented here.

This paper presents Ramsey theory in category-theoretic terms as a message from a non-expert author to a non-expert reader. Everything is explained starting from the level zero, and an attempt is ...made to be as self-explanatory in the terminology and notation as possible. For the sake of references, the paper also reproduces traditional terminology, with concepts and theorems often named after (presumed) discoverers who are largely unknown to outsiders to the field. The sources are referred to in a manner so as to make them easy to find on the web; only exceptionally are non-freely accessible items referred to. Certain questions are formulated as `conjectures', not out of a deep belief in their validity but because they sound better stated explicitly. There are no new results in this article, no deepening of particular aspects of Ramsey theory, no attempts to be comprehensive. But, in the spirit of the ideas of Anatoly Vershik, an attempt is made to move transversally across common directions of research, to see interrelations between them and to formulate questions. In fact, the article reproduces a chapter from the author's as yet unfinished manuscript ``A number of questions''.\footnotehttp://www.ihes.fr/~gromov/PDF/Problems-marc6-11-2014.pdf. Abstract
The paper considers a cellular automaton approach to modeling physical processes, in particular, the diffusion of pulsed periodic gas discharges in plasma. An attempt to determine the ...dependence of the probability of the block rotation on the diffusion coefficient for a cellular automaton diffusion model with a Margolus neighborhood is describe. Some features of the tensor approach to the implementation of random block cellular automata are described. The results of computer experiments are presented. The analysis of this results indicates that the data from the literature sources differ from the data obtained during the experiment.
The search for neutrino events in correlation with gravitational wave (GW) events for three observing runs (O1, O2 and O3) from 09/2015 to 03/2020 has been performed using the Borexino data-set of ...the same period. We have searched for signals of neutrino-electron scattering and inverse beta-decay (IBD) within a time window of Formula omitted s centered at the detection moment of a particular GW event. The search was done with three visible energy thresholds of 0.25, 0.8 and 3.0 MeV. Two types of incoming neutrino spectra were considered: the mono-energetic line and the supernova-like spectrum. GW candidates originated by merging binaries of black holes (BHBH), neutron stars (NSNS) and neutron star and black hole (NSBH) were analyzed separately. Additionally, the subset of most intensive BHBH mergers at closer distances and with larger radiative mass than the rest was considered. In total, follow-ups of 74 out of 93 gravitational waves reported in the GWTC-3 catalog were analyzed and no statistically significant excess over the background was observed. As a result, the strongest upper limits on GW-associated neutrino and antineutrino fluences for all flavors ( Formula omitted) at the level Formula omitted have been obtained in the 0.5-5 MeV neutrino energy range.

The article provides a theoretical description of the tensor approach to the software implementation of the cellular automaton model of diffusion. A block-synchronous cellular automaton with a ...neighborhood of Margolus was chosen as a model. Within the framework of the proposed approach, the rotation of the automaton block clockwise or counterclockwise can be carried out using a special operation on tensors, namely convolution. The approach discussed in this paper allows you to use various frameworks aimed at parallelizing computations to organize scientific calculations on modern powerful graphics adapters.
In the coming years, the compact monoenergetic neutron generators (CNG) producing up to 104 n/s may become an alternative to the standard neutron sources based on radioactive isotopes for the ...calibrations of neutrino and dark matter detectors. Such neutron generators have a typical size of about several centimetres, they may be manufactured using low-background materials and may require only low voltage power supply for operation. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of two main types of the compact neutron generators, namely a pyroelectric neutron source and a high voltage neutron generator. Also the results of the technical analysis of the possibilities to apply such sources for the calibration of low-background experiments are given, the variant of the internal device design is shown and the full-size compact neutron generator prototype are presented.
Industrial Detector of REactor Antineutrinos for Monitoring (iDREAM) is a 1 ton Gd-doped liquid scintillator detector mounted in the Kalinin nuclear power plant (Russia), 20 m from the 3 GW
VVER type ...commercial reactor. Antineutrinos are detected via inverse beta decay on protons. Beginning in 2021, the detector is collecting data both in reactor ON and OFF modes. The first iDREAM antineutrino results are presented, showing no doubt on the proper operation of the detector as a counting device.
Abstract
The paper is devoted to the description of the iDREAM
detector and its systems. iDREAM is a prototype detector designed to
demonstrate the feasibility of antineutrino detectors for remote
...reactor monitoring and safeguard purposes. Antineutrinos are
detected with a 1 ton liquid scintillator via inverse beta decay on
protons. In order to suppress cosmic muons, gamma and neutron
background, the detector is housed in a dedicated shielding. The
detector is installed at the Kalinin nuclear power plant (Russia),

Experiments on random-bred albino mice showed that NF-κB inhibitor (BAY 11-7082) and β2-adrenoreceptor agonist (dexmedetomidine hydrochloride) significantly reduced mouse mortality in 4 and 24 h ...after sepsis modeling (intraperitoneal administration of
E. coli
) by reducing blood levels of proinflammatory cytokines TNFα, IL-1β, and IL-6. The combined administration of NF-κB inhibitor and β2-adrenoreceptors agonist have an additive effect.
We report a single-step method of preparation of ordered silver nanoparticles array through template-assisted nanoparticles synthesis in the semidried block copolymer film. Ordered nanoparticles were ...prepared on different substrates by the proper choice of solvents combination and preparation procedure. In particular, block copolymer and silver nitrate were dissolved in the mix of tetrahydrofuran, toluene, and n-methylpyrolidone. During short spin-coating procedure ordering of block copolymer, evaporation of toluene and preferential silver redistribution into poly(4-vinylpyridine) block occurred. Rapid heating of semidry film initiated silver reduction, removing of residual solvent and creation of ordered silver array. After polymer removing silver nanoparticles array was tested as a suitable candidate for subdiffraction plasmonic application–surface-enhanced Raman scattering. Enhancement factor was calculated and compared with the literature data.
